Custom Window SystemsI ordered 14 Custom Window System Storm Strong windows.13 of the 6100 series single hung, which exactly were all the same size!1 was series 6150 fixed glass.When I was notified by the installer that all but one windows had arrived, I assumed it was the fixed window that was missing, but NO, it was one of the 13 windows, which were all the same size! How and why would this happen?The installer notified Custom Windows but their response has been slow with no sense of urgency. I am still waiting for that window.What has been shipped was installed, but the quality was substandard, because on two (2) of the single hung. The mitered corners have big gaps in them! See attached picture.So again we are at the mercy of the non-urgency of the manufacture to correct this issue as well.The installer has been great!Custom Window Systems NOT great!They have a lack of quality control, how do they ship an order when they did not complete the order and ship windows that were substandard???They also have no sense of urgency to correct the issues.So I would beware!!!

Absolutely 💯 the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have been waiting over 8 months for a replacement screen for a 900 dollar window. After 6! Attempts this company still cant get it right. No one cares to help or get to the bottom of why we keep getting sent the wrong or damaged screen replacement. Do not use this company or Pella windows...CWS makes the windows for this company and they are just as bad.

We have been dealing with CWS for 11 months on getting a correct SCREEN in sound condition for one of our brand new custom windows. I cannot even begin to explain how many times weve been up to Lowes to pick up the new screen just for it to be the wrong color, completely wrong size, and/ or for it to be damaged. With getting the same result a number of times, I got in touch with Pella. I have been dealing with them since June. Reps have been coming out and its been the wrong size or damaged. Each time we have to be rescheduled, and its always a month or more out before they come back with a messed up screen. Now Im dealing with CWS and been given the run around. Then told how they cant schedule out until November 8th, because thats how their calendar is routed and no one will be in my area. Also, how their production time is 6-8 weeks. Were talking about a simple screen... what, 6 pieces of material. Some no brainer stuff. They lack precise measurements, quality control, oversight of management, and safe packaging. We built a 600+ sq ft block addition within this time and STILL NO SCREEN. A lot more complicated things have been completed in a years time, but no one can get a dang screen done right. Here we are about to approach an entire year still dealing with this stupid nonsense. Clearly, they lack pride in their work and getting the job done right within a reasonable time. So glad we decided to wait on getting the rest of the windows replaced for our house. We will absolutely not be going through CWS. And based on the reviews, this seems to be their new MO. Beware if you use them. Nothing but a massive headache to deal with. Well never use them again or recommend them. If we can spare anyone the headache, we will share our experience.

Custom window systems have great windows. Very high in the specs. for the state. The service with c w s is good as long as you get Travis Workman on the job.

A review of 1 is before I have even received the windows which were ordered on Jan 6th 2020 through local dealer. Today is August 18th 2021 & I am told they will not deliver prior to Labor Day cause it is too far on short week. Dealer was told they will receive September 13th 2021. (math - 8+ months). Hopefully receive then and they will be correct. I would not have used them now as their review ratings have declined. If CWS wants to respond, you are more than welcome, but I do have copies of your emails to the local dealer.

Windows were delivered months late with sagging frames, non-square corners, wrong window types. Company has sent replacements that have also had the same issues. Waiting for another ~2 months for them to send replacements again to fix window sashes with non-straight, sagging frames. Ordered 20 mesh screens have repeatedly been sent 18 mesh. Windows ordered in May 2020, still waiting for correct items Feb 2021.Still waiting for fixed window panes and correct screens May 2021.

Love these windows, just had them installed and my energy bill has gone down a bunch and they look great! Definitely recommend them!!!

Hired AMS to custom order and install 2 doors and 8 windows in my manufactured home. Dont be fooled by the brochures supplied by Custom Window Systems. Their claims of the doors being a premier line, their locks being upgraded, insulated doors, etc. are only marketing words. Delaney locks are cheap. Standing inside I can see light from outside and the putty knife inserted shows no insulation inside the door. Cut edges have burrs, open window sits on an angle. Deadbolt setup means I cant leave window open at night. Ordered keyed-alike locks, they arent. $1K for each door! Not calling company directly because AMS already said it would take 6 weeks for someone to show up from Custom Window systems.

WORST experience for construction material ever. Do not count on CWS. I have a small business and ordered windows and sliding glass doors from CES. Not only was the 7 week delivery time extended by more than a month, but the vertical side plates were manufactured wrong for two of the doors. After finally getting them to order the right parts, that took 5 weeks to deliver, and they sent parts which had no connection to the doors- the parts were ordered correctly, but the factory sent parts not connected. Now the THIRD try is getting into a month or more. This means the order from NOV 15, 2020 will take SIX MONTHS. I should have ordered from another company.

I am a licensed contractor. I have been using Custom Windows products since the opened. They use to have a good product. But their quality has dropped off the chart. I installed my last set of their windows today. We had to modify every single window just to make them3work properly. Sad to see a once good company drop so far. PGT will get my business from this point on.

TRUCK DRIVERS: Easy to find. Easy to maneuver trucks. Signs to know where to go was great. However needed one more sign to show where shipping and receiving was located. The sign showing was for a different company

Huge place with an even bigger inventory.

The company states the windows are warranty for 20 years, i have had problems with the latches, weather stripping, condensation and the lies the office personnel tell. This comany is the worse. I wouldnt recommend this company for a dog house.

Finally a company in South Florida, that actually does what they say they can do. I purchased an older home and in an excellent neighborhood. I needed new windows and I wanted impact hurricane windows like that of Miami-Dade ratings. After interviewing three companies I realized that Statewide Windows and Doors was the only company that did not use subcontractors. After having issues before I decided it was best to go with Statewide Window and Doors, with their own installers than having to deal with subcontractors. I was amazed with the installation of my impact windows. The installation team went above and beyond keeping my house clean of dust by covering all my furniture. The City Inspector, stop by for a preliminary inspection and he too was impressed by the install. He told me the guys were doing an excellent job for me. It is rare today to get what you pay for. If youre installing impact windows I would suggest highly that you get in touch with Statewide Windows and Doors for an estimate. I cannot reiterate enough about the installation and the price of my new impact windows. Contact them you will be glad you did.

Our family recently had energy efficient Vinyl impact windows installed throughout our house and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results! Only after 2 months we have seen a drastic decrease in our electricity bill. Statewide Windows and Doors was the authorized vendor we selected to install our new CWS windows and their installation did an amazing job! Quick, clean and professional!Highly recommend this line of windows for anyone in the market to upgrade to impact!

CWS has gone downhill big time. The last few acrylic window orders have taken over 10 weeks to be fulfilled, even though their estimate was 6-7 weeks. Totally unacceptable! They should just stop selling this product if they cant honor timelines any better than this. It hurts our reputation worse than it hurts their own. Do they care???

It was amazing. If i should need any other work I will defiantly call Statewide Windows and Doors. I highly recommend them to any one who needs there windows and doors replace. Thank you all for the great work.

I Got my Windows installed last month, spent $10,000. I used CWS ALUMINUM the grey tint. Statewide Windows installed them in a day, and took about 3 months from start to finish. Installers were quick! Super clean and fast. Past the inspection. Couldn’t be happier.

So beyond happy and thankful I chose CWS Windows for my Home. I had my windows replaced through Statewide Impact Windows & Doors last month, and the new look of my house is amazing!!Whats better than the look is the feel of the inside of my house when these Florida days are at their hottest. I have 3 sliding glass doors and four big windows on the backside of my house that used to bring in too much heat. It was impossible to keep my house below 78 degrees, and my A/C was constantly running.Now that I have Vinyl framed windows with low e glass my house is so much cooler. I am able to keep my A/C at 74 degrees and it is not constantly running. Thank you CWS & Thank you Statewide!!Highly recommend!!!

These guys were like trained machines, I mean they didn’t even stop for lunch... omg. They covered everything and protected my home beyond my expectations. They finished the entire job in one day. The final inspection just pass this morning and the inspector said this was one of the best installations he has ever seen.I love my new CWS Windows.

Cws windows are by far an absolute amazing superior product. I got my entire home installed by Statewide Windows and Doors and it consisted of 36 windows and 12 sliding glass doors. My husband and I got three quotes from different companies and Statewide came in about $13,000 cheaper than our lowest quote. The installation came out perfectly and we could not be happier. Would certainly recommend Cws Windows and Statewide Windows and Doors to anyone.

Contracted with Statewide Windows & Doors using CWS products over two years ago. We had a defect in one of our Sliding glass doors. Statewide & CWS honored the warranty and took care of this right away at no charge to me. Truly 2 companies with great customer service.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced from any company I have ever dealt with. They do no follow through with their promises, and I have received unbelievable run around when attempting to get a part that costs under $5.00. I was sent to a dealer 25 miles away in Winterhaven that could not help me. Spoke to a service company that said he would mail me the part, never did. Called corporate to see if they could help and was told we do not work directly with a retail customers. Suggest that I contact another dealer who saidthey have the part, but do not ship parts even when I was willing to pay for shipping. Again advised to go to another dealer 62 miles away, for a $5.00 part? All I can say if you buy windows from this company—-GOOD LUCK?

We had 12 (double-glazed) windows installed and now 2 of them have leaked and gone grey inside! The seals are obviously a weak point in CWS WINDOWS. It has been 6 years since they were installed but one expects better staying power than this. Can the company change the glass?

Cws windows are fantastic! Upon my first review I was hesitant to go aluminum or vinyl however after seeing the benefits of vinyl I went with that. I worked with Statewide windows and doors, from start to finish the process was quick and painless. The crew finished in one day and the stucco guy was amazing. Incredibly pleased highly recommend!!!FYI I ordered 15 vinyl Lowe windows and 2 sliding glass doors. If I buy again I will certainly use CWS and contract through Statewide Windows.

I have been gathering quotes for the past year. Must have received a total of about 10 quotes for different windows and five of them all carried Cws’s Vinyl product. Given the amount of volume of business Statewide Windows and Doors does they were able to offer me the absolute best number for this product. My home is not protected and that is already saving me a tremendous amount on our FPNL bill. I also received a reduction in my homeowners insurance as Cws windows are recognized as category five rated windows. Thank you Statewide Windows and Custom Window Systems!!!

Used CWS vinyl windows in my home, Statewide windows and doors installed them for me last month. They look great, I used insulated lowE glass as I did my patio and I get a lot of sunlight in that space. The sunlight comes through but not the heat now. VERY glad i did this.

Every window cracked and failed after installation. I was told by the contractor it was quality issue from the manufacturer. Every window in my house had tobe cut out and fixed so my brand new windows were no longer brand new. Replacement and replacement came in scratched. Poor customer service and product. Very disappointed in window company and contractor.

Statewide Windows and Doors installed 46 beautiful windows and 4 Doors using CWS products. We used PGT in our last home and I must say The CWS product is by far more superior. Our electric bill has went down by 28% last month. We are are extremely satisfied with the product and the installation. We could not be happier.

Let me explain, I contacted the factory on an unusual technical question and got transferred, I suspect by accident to Rick, who was kind, knowledgable and said Ill have Jay Lathrop in engineering be in touch. I thought how many days or weeks will this take? Not more than 20 minutes passed and Jay called me and he quickly addressed my needs. When we were finished I complimented and thanked Jay. Than I said hey, put in a good word for Rick ok. He chuckled, Whats so funny! I said. Jay said, Rick Mullen is CWSs company Director of Sales nationally. Why, I wondered, did this guy pick up the phone I asked myself. This is both rare and exceptional in todays world where head corperate executives are about as detached as they can be from the real world service trenches.Im not finished...fast forward 1.5 years to today.  I called the factory again now needing the NOAs on all my windows and doors -(I wont go into the reasons... not important).  What is important, is that I got a quick referral to Tom Frazzetto, CWSs field sales and service guy in Broward county who was working remotely from home during this Covid19 outbreak. In a short conversation this morning he said hed hoped to email me by days end but it may take more time. Yeah, I thought..., sure I thought...,1.5 years later Im asking for a great deal with nothing in it for CWS but a lot of time spent with zero reward for them.  Well to my amazement Tom emailed me exactly what I needed a few hours later at 12:30pm, on a Friday at that.Am I glad we bought CWSs windows and doors. Oh, yeah! Their team builds a quality product. No doubt about it, but trust me, this kind of service is very very rare in todays world.Everybody is happy to complain when companies screw up. Back in 2007 purchased all the windows and a triple wise glass sliding door for our 2700 sf house. THE experience was great. We did our own installation and they were very helpful during the whole installation. In 2012 had our picture windows seal break,, alley within 3 days they came out took out the old window and installed the replacement in a few hours. Would recommend them to anyone wanting quality windows st a good price and great customer srrvice.

I am having my doors and windows installed by Paradise Exteriors and the products are from Custom Window Systems. The doors and windows are of very bad quality. They have been ordered and reordered and they always come discolored or scratched. I am very unhappy with the products supplied by this company. I have been dealing with Paradise Exteriors since August of 2016 and to date the windows and doors are not finished because there is always a problem. I dont recommend this company. Please do your research and do not be fooled by some flyers or pamphlets with beautiful windows. The products are of very bad quality. If we are buying brand new windows and doors why would they already be discolored and scratched? Analyze that once they are hit with direct sunlight and rain they will probably get even worse. They dont even deserve one star.

If you have any issues at all with either their windows or doors you’re pretty much on your own. Had to sliding glass doors that came together in the center the astragal’s were wrong they said three different crews out For what they say was an easy fix. All three crews could fix the problem they sent their lead service tech out he couldn’t fix it and we were told sorry nothing we can do for you

HORRIBLE PRODUCT - every window and door we have from them has fallen apart and / or is damaged within months of install . I have purchased higher quality products at Home Depot for substantially less money .screws are falling out of doors 1 year after install . pieces fall off of window after 6 months, vinyl cracks after 2 months. BAD BAD BAD .

The employees that came out to do the fixes are nice, however we had multiple problems and it took 5 months to eventually get our newly installed windows fixed. Finally after 15 calls and 4 visits I hope all the windows are fixed. The service department doesnt return calls. The windows are clearly not inspected before they leave the factory. Ive heard recently that all the window manufacturers are the same now..crappy quality and 1-star.

Took 3 months and 5 sets of screen doors, to finally figure out problem with patio doors. Found another simple issue, and they refuse to deal directly with me. I called the installer a month ago for the issue 3 times and have not heard back from them. Each door or window is a one off. They had to re-engineer the frames since they didnt line up properly. Not worth the aggravation. You would think I would get better support for $15,000

Having a Horrible time getting a warranty issue resolved.The person who sold the windows wont answer and the company wont work directly with me to resolve the issue.4 of the windows we ordered cam in cracked.One door came is as a window...We are beyond disappointed.** UPDATED: A field tech came out and helped me resolve the issue. ** Buyer Beware**CWS was referred to me by several window and door installers. After interviewing 6-7 installers, three of them had favorable reviews of CWS and others had no experience or poor experiences with their customer service.I reached out to CWS three times before purchasing these doors and spoke to customer service regarding their warranty, product details and time to delivery. Each time I spoke to them prior to purchase the customer service was pleasant and responsive.I purchased two 8800 doors from a CWS dealer (6x8 and 8x8). The purchase and delivery went smooth, the installation also was straightforward although the instructions were lacking. During the completion of the install I noticed that a few minor hardware pieces were missing. See list below:Handle ScrewHandle GrommetDust plugWeep BaffleSince none of these were core components, I contacted CWS and this is when I received the run around. First, I emailed the list of missing parts plus my invoice. After a day or two, I was told that I needed to go through the dealer that I purchased the doors from (I will leave them nameless at this point as I don’t feel that they are liable). After reaching out to the CWS dealer, I was told that these parts will costs me an additional $46! The reason that I was given is that it had been over 30 days since my order.What a rip!Terrible customer service!I also called the local CWS rep and spoke to him (Rich Finlock). He was incredibly rude and would not assist me in locating these parts unless there was a fee. I mentioned to him and the CWS dealer that I would be posting a negative review. I plan to also warn anyone else through other online media and in person of my experience. BUYER BEWARE!! I had a house built with a faulty window that was warranteed by CWS. They still have yet to replace the failed window. The house was completed in March,the order was placed the prior Feburary, it is now 5 months later and still no window. We were told today,they list our order that was place 5 months ago,now we have to wait 12-15 weeks for another one. I could buy another one and have it placed within the week,if we paid out of pocket for this.They are not reliable,not honest, wouldnt recommend at all. Not Happy!

Unable to get anyone in the service department answer the phone. Called 3 different times waited a total of 38 minutes still no answer. Quick to sells Very slow or No service.

Two of my windows were delivered broken. I have waited 8 months to get 2 small windows replaced. One is on the front side of the house and it is getting ready to collapse and fall all over the place. Sadly, I can’t let my 4 year old play outside by it. To add insult to injury, I just called again and all I get is a snobby representative saying “I understand that...” Same old terrible 21st century service. I wasn’t going to write a review but this has gotten rediculous. I have a high tolerance for errors and am forgiving, but this company doesn’t care....Do not buy from them. If you have any issue at all - you will be waiting, and waiting, and waiting. Then get treated like you didnt pay them a dime, when in fact we have paid them so much money it is rediculous. If you are wise, you will find another company - and not be fooled like me.

BUYER BEWARE! Had sliding Glassdoors installed in PSL Fl by Paradise windows and doors. I have a Hugh gap 1/2” plus at the top where the sliders meet in the middle. Sunlight and hot humid Florida air flows in. Paradise window and doors has been out 3 times to put sticking backing weather stripping that simply falls off! Unacceptable solution for doors that were not cheap (over $9000 for3 sliders!) This is a manufactures defect that neither Paradise or CWS will correct. This is deception to the public about this product that they know this is a problem with no solution other then to get the those weather strippings. They have not hear the last from me. I wish I could post the photo of the gap on top showing the light shining in nice and bright. Email if you are interested in seeing this. Very disappointed and want my money back for this particular door.

I was a CWS customer for years, a custom home builder, they were sold out. Ever since sold out, TERRIBLE!! Been on a home, over 100k window order, and since May 2017, they can not get the issues corrected, multiple meetings, salesman, representatives, trips, over and over, and the windows still are not correct. USED TO BE, a great product, no longer, horrible service, horrible follow up, just bad all the way around. RUN

Local company in PT ST Lucie is JBR Exteriors and I was given their name by the CWS Sales Rep. The owner is a sweetheart, delivered the windows and installed as promised. Two screens were damaged but were replaced within 2 days.

Products are over priced for the quality. Horrible customer service after the sale and installation. We’ve had an on going issue with several windows, and a using door in our home for over 3 months and can’t get a response from the area supervisor or our customer service rep. Project has been going for 6 months and still no resolution. Would not recommend these windows to anyone

Our builder used CWS windows in our new house. Overall, I wouldnt use them again. quality is average at best and service is average to poor. Example, several of our windows had flaws in them, defects in the glass, one blown seal etc. It is now 1yr post move in and they are just finishing up the replacements. I travel a lot and they are not very accommodating in terms of service schedules. Took no less than 6 visits to get to this point, 3 of which were to work on the sliding glass door that they couldnt get right. If you have issues, be prepared for the run around.

Its an ok place to work for a bit. Dont plan on moving up through the ranks because it wont happen. The place tends to slip on quality control at least when I worked here.

I love my windows. I bought then thru Lowes. I had one that was not working correctly but they came right out and fixed it.

My grandparents had Custom Windows installed by a local company called CCI. They love the new windows and I must say, I am very impressed after seeing them myself.

I purchased 20 hurricane impact windows from CWS, and I regret it immensely. The purchase was made in October 2017 through Lowes. The windows arrived in early March 2018 for installation, and upon inspecting them; I called Lowes to tell them that I did not want the windows because they were scratched and dented. I was told that CWS would send a technician to fix the windows. Because of these assurances, I agreed to the installation of 13 of the 20 windows. The remaining 7 windows were either missing brackets or were poorly assembled. Of the 13 installed windows, three of them had defective balance systems and they would not open. To make a long story short, I asked for a refund on the seven windows I returned after many back and forth phone calls. It is now October 2018 (almost 8 months later) and I am still waiting for the technician from CWS to repair the three windows that do not open because of the defective balance systems. As to the dented windows, I guess I would have to learn to live with them. Dealing with CWS has been quite a nightmare. I am purchasing the remaining impact windows and doors from PGT. CWS - never again!!

Gaskets on windows failed recently. Called company windows purchased from 4 years ago and they referred us to CWS. Called CWS.Spoke to Lizzette. She was very helpful. Windows still under warranty. Windows replaced free of charge. Technician, Robert, that came out was knowledgable, neat and efficient.

We built a 7000 square foot house in 2009 and instead of using Anderson or Pella, I decided to use a local company to help keep the area employed, and keep my money in the area. So we gave them our $20,000.00 plus order and everything went fine until we had a seal break in one of our sliders. Six phone calls, a bad review on Facebook and two months later, we still have a broken seal and no response as to when it will be repaired.

Horrible management. Horrible company. Fired me after 1 week of work because in 1 week I witnessed almost 6 major incidents and all I did was ask management about their safety rating. Was then fired later that day.

We have been trying to replace a defective 2 year old window for 7 months. One time they showed up with a totally different window and today they simply didnt show up. I called at 3:30 pm and was told we were on the schedule but no one showed and no one bothered to call. The Service Dept is rude and Id warn everyone to look elsewhere for windows. A warranty is useless is they dont actually replace the window. Weve also had trouble with a sliding door handle and have received the same procrastination from this company. I have spent a total of 2 days waiting for service people to show and nothing to show for it. I will be filing formal complaints next week.

I had my CWS windows and sliders installed by an authorized distributor of CWS. After reading the reviews I can only think a lot of these negative comments are due to improper installation to some degree. My home has single hung, sliding and picture windows along with 2 sets of CWS french doors and 3 sliding glass doors. My whole entire job, including time frame, installation, fit and finish, inspection, etc. went seamlessly and the quality of the products is impressive. The only small thing (which wasnt an issue for me) was 1 of the windows had a small rip in a screen and a new one was ordered from CWS and installed within 2 weeks. I think that is a pretty good time frame considering everything is custom sized and ordered as such. I was also given a warranty registration card and registered my address with CWS for the lifetime warranty. I have to say, Im very happy I chose these windows and doors.As a side note, I renovated a home a couple of years ago using PGT windows and doors so I have something to compare to. I had numerous problems with the PGT locks, 3 windows wouldnt stay open right from the factory and one of the rollers on a sliding glass door was faulty upon delivery as well. From my observation and experience CWS has a much better hold on their quality control and getting service handled. Other than that the products are very comparable.

We purchased 9pairs of sliders and a door thru lake square aluminum. The quality was excellent and delivery was prompt.

Garbage product with the worst customer care, Sold doors with no locks . Waiting 3 months for resolutions.No response no calls .0 stars was no option.

I ordered 2 windows(so far) From CWS, their sales person and customer support team, AS well as the gentlemen who came to replace a miss-built slider window were all very kind. They built one of the windows with the slider upside down. Fixed it NO QUESTIONS. Plan to do the rest of my house with CWS.

I received a call about an appointment, then confirmed the appointment for the 23rd of april, the day came no show, no call, I have called the 352 number 7 times, now I have another, no one has an explanation for the lack of follow through,

Installation to replace a defective window was 4 hours late. Condo association mad because it was after 5:00. Still require warranty and hurricane rating documentation. Have made several calls.

Rear dinette, (lanai), Custom Window Systems: brand new top quality low e double pane windows with argon gas: some scratched windows, some scratched window frames, and all windows had bent out window frames; a tear in one screen; several window meshes were incorrectly installed; these windows were installed by FAS Windows and Doors, Orlando, FL, which did not inspect these windows before installation

I have been calling the factory to find out who sells there windows and CANNOT get an answer, they just take my name.
