I utilized Jack Lewis for a pre-purchase inspection. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Jack Lewis answered the phone when I called.Even before the inspection he spent 30 minutes on the phone with me discussing what he would look for in the particular model of car I was seeking. He almost talked himself out of work by suggesting the things that I should look for myself before I even brought the car to him. This was all done for free.

I dealt with Jack and Helga when buying a 996 Turbo. The transaction went well and the car was as described. He was a pleasure to work with at that point.I later sold the car to a customer, a very large Porsche collector, who had it in his collection for 2 years without registering it. He had since lost the title. Ultimately, the loss of the title is the new owners fault, however, I found a solution to source a replacement title that couldve drastically helped the new owner. We requested Jack to help obtain a replacement title for the vehicle. Jack had discussed a fee that he would require for his time and effort in obtaining the replacement title and the owner was willing to pay Jack his requested fees to obtain the duplicate title for the vehicle, but then when I called Jack to follow up, he and his wife had changed their minds about helping this customer out.So, for what its worth, my experience with taking Jack at his word is 50/50. Personally, I dont like those odds and wouldnt try my luck dealing with them a 3rd time. I was trying to go the extra mile to help out my customer, so it would have been nice to been shown some professional courtesy... especially when he was getting paid what he had requested for the job. I wish I could be posting a positive review based on a positive outcome. I genuinely hope he never finds himself in need of assistance in the future.For future reference, if he would have just told me from the beginning that he had no interest in helping out, that would have been more genuine and acceptable than leading me on and wasting my time while I was under the impression that he was going to follow through with what he said he would do.
