Ive been doing business with Shawn for over 16 years, two different cars. First on my 03 GT Mustang, and now on my BMW. After all these years, I refused to have anyone else perform a service on any car that I own. Honest and cares about my car enough to explain the reasoning for needing one brand over other brands. He has always made sure that I achieve the performance goals that I want for my cars.

Had starter replaced on my 09 Civic Si. Amazing work and even better professional encounter. Shawn and Josh definitely know what they are doing. They do not cut any corners and will rely on the customers request at every step along the way.

Everyone here is super chill very helpful. I’ve dealt with many other businesses and people and street sports is by far the most easy going and helpful people I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with. I’ve bought parts and cars from here and have never had a bad experience!

I 110% recommend this place to anyone who needs anything done to their car! Shawn pulled an all nighter to get my AEM gauges installed into my car before a huge car show the next day. He ordered the parts for me and installed them. Everything works and looks perfect and he even took pictures and videos during the install so i could see each and every detail of how it was done! Customer service was amazing, i will be bringing ALL my cars here!

This shop was parting out a car. We agreed to $1200 on the remaining parts which was primarily the drivetrain. A couple weeks go by and one of the employees Brandon reaches back out to me and tells me he has a higher offer of $1400 even though we already had a deal. To my surprise, the owner get involved and agreed to honor our previous agreement.So I travel 3 hrs to pick up the vehicle. Further inspection revealed that the transmission had a hole in the bellhousing. Brandon acted surprised and said he wasnt aware of the hole and advised he wasnt able to reduce the cost of the car any further even though this damage was not disclosed and I just rented a uhaul trailer and drove 3 hrs to pick up the car. I asked to speak with the owner. Evidently, he was aware of the damage although it wasnt disclosed in the ad and refused to reduce the price additionally even though the car /parts were not worth 1/2 of what he was now asking.Bottom line is that is this shop is all about the money and refused to make things right. All he could talk about was how much money he had already lost and needed to recouped that money on our sale. Bad business if you ask me...

My car broke down right in front of Street Sports. The Owner came out to the street and helped me get the car on his lot. I asked him if he could fix it, he said yes. He immediately hooked the car up to a computer and diagnosed all potential causes of the breakdown. He gave me the results of the computer diagnosis and said he would order 4 parts for the repair. Once the parts came in he installed 2 of them and that solved the problem. He informed me that he only used half of the parts and the unnecessary parts were going to be returned at no cost to me. That let me know that I was doing business with an honest man. When I came to pick the car up I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the cost was. Ill be taking my vehicles to Street Sports for repair from now on. ( regardless of where I breakdown! lol)My car is still running great so Im very pleased.

Very knowledgeable and especially willing to explain in depth the diagnostics and repair options. Quality is a priority. Value is too. So theyre not the cheapest, but you get more for your money in terms of service, expertise, etc.

I have been going to Streetsports for close to 20 years now. Shawns knowledge base and tech skills is second to none. He will take the time to do things right the first time. From simple service needs, diagnostic/troubleshooting, audio, performance upgrades, and custom work he has it all covered. I have taken 7 different vehicles there cars, trucks, import and domestic and have never had a complaint.

Great service. Gives exact details on what will be done to your car. One of the most honest and professional places Ive had my car at. No need to worry about leaving your car with them, and coming back to having a new list of new problems like you get with most shops nowadays.

This place provided me with nothing less than a great experience. I had just moved from my home town to Lexington, and when car trouble struck, I wasnt familiar enough with the area to know a quality shop to take my vehicle to. Thankfully, I met Shawn, and from the very beginning, he treated me like a friend, not just a customer.He clearly explained the problem to me until I understood it, which might have been a task itself considering my automobile knowledge is quite slim, and he guided me through exactly what would be needed for the repair.Their work was quick and spot on. I definitely know where Im going to go the next time I need my 4 wheeled friend worked on. I highly recommend the work Street Sports provides and the quality at which they do it at.

My fiancé is pretty good at fixing cars but for anything he cant fix we go to Street Sports. The owner is extremely friendly and straightforward. If you worry a lot like I do, he will walk through everything with you and even show you whats wrong and how hes going to have fix it. I do not trust anyone else but Shawn!

Shawn spent three hours troubleshooting a problem with a remote start he installed eight years ago. After taking it all apart he found a broken wire that another mech somewhere along the way had damaged. He got me in when he said he would, and stayed on the job till it was solved. Nobody better for tricky electrical issues. He is tech savy.
