I scheduled an installation in-store. They never showed twice. I had to take time off work. Waiting eight hours for Best Buy to possibly show up is already ridiculous. Having to do it more than once is insane. The Geek Squad plans are a complete waste of money. They dont call you, they dont come at the scheduled time, it takes and hour or more just to talk to someone in the Philippines who cant even help- if youre lucky. I lost track of how many times I called, was transferred, hung up on or put on hold. The installation team doesnt work on weekends or holidays but have no issue making you take time off from work. Even getting a refund is complicated. Stay away from this store.

I was looking for receivers, a TV and a mini-fridge. I was only able to find two receivers on display. It would have been nice to have a selection to compare features or a representative to help, but even though there were two representatives in that area - we were not offered any sort of help.We finally managed to select a TV and a Mini-fridge (for my Airbnb), and loaded them onto a cart all by ourselves (my Momma is 69 for reference). Made it all the way to the line and only then were we asked if we needed any help, besides someone other than kind customers. At that point, we had already done most of the labor and all of the shopping on our own - so we declined and loaded everything into the car alone.

Its a Best Buy. Its the same as all the others, which is great because you know what to expect there.

Both the customer service desk and the cell phone station employees where amazing, understanding, and helpful. I left my wallet in the car but they where able to pull up my account at the register and get me taken care of on the spot.

Everything was well stocked and were greeted upon entering. However the workers walking around neglected to ask us if we needed help which we did. And until after we figured it out ourselves the product we needed we found a group of workers chatting it up in an aisle and ignored us. Otherwise a normal best buy.

Best Buy is the best place to buy your electronic devices. I love the idea of curb service. Just pull up and your purchase is brought out to you. My experience with the customer service representatives, they are very friendly and willing to help.

Our go to local electronics store. Have done some rearranging since the Pandemic, making you still feel safe. Usually have what we need at a reasonable price. I enjoy the customer service.

Big store but a bit confusing on TV types. Hard to find help

I love Best Buy. Mom and I went in there today to purchase a Simply Safe Doorbell that was on sale. We were able to find the product and checkout quickly. The employees are nice, friendly and helpful.

Sales Representative was excellent in checking on print cartridges for cannon print. The sales went above an beyond her duties. Grade A in Outstanding Customer Service.

My husband and I went into Best Buy to purchase a DVD player. From the moment we walked in the door, looked over their selection of DVDs, and purchased a DVD, the employees were so helpful, professional and knew their merchandise. I would highly recommend Best Buy.

The employees have always been very polite, knowledgeable and helpful at this store. Weve never been and needed to wait more than 10 or so minutes to get help with a product or something else.

Overall I found what I had gone in there for to buy which was a tablet and I am definitely happy with my purchase. Altogether I give 4 stars and not 5 because they have displays of phones and tablets spread out thru different parts of the store and I found it to be a bit confusing as to how they were all grouped together and where to find specific brands. Other then that the sales guy was pretty helpful and overall nice. He seemed a little agitated when I had gone up to him for help assisting me to get a different tablet out of the glass when I changed my mind. But other then that it was worth the stop

Best buy is a good store it had a whole lot of good stuff in it I really enjoyed it. only problem was I was in a rush so I couldnt actually go everywhere that I wanted to go. I pretty much had to see things on my way to what I was trying to get but its very nicely organized and the employees were very very courteous and helpful .I like it and will be going back to look at the rest of the store .this was the store in Newport News off of Jefferson avenue.

To address a lot of things people have mentioned in recent reviews, please continue reading. The staff in store can only help people in line and will do their very best to assist. Understand this may take time depending on the day/ time/ crowd. The staff also cannot serve anyone not wearing a mask, please keep this in mind if you see something you like and cant wear one you can use curbside pickup as an option. Overall staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful!

The store is clean and well staffed. That said, the staff here is a little fresh. The online pickup area was moved and the staff at customer service acted like we should have known that (despite it being at customer service at every single BB we’ve been to in the last year.)The associates in the appliance department were too busy standing around talking to each other instead of seeing if we needed assistance. The guy over in the Apple area didn’t seem to know if they carried the MagSafe wallet for the not new anymore iPhone. But he did make a lucky guess, so at least there’s that. My guess was that it wasn’t his usual department because he was greeting people with apprehension.All in all, they had what we came for and the online pickup process was seamless (once we were told where to go.)

Always get insurance on your devices. They give you the money to purchase a replacement if it cant be repaired. Awesome!

Friendly staff. Always welcoming and knowledgeable. Their inventory manager tracked down a laptop for me that was very hard to find and sold out everywhere but the app said there was one there somewhere. Most would just say I dont see it and move on but she kept looking and found it for me!

I was forced to go to the Geek Squad for help with my laptop computer. It is out of warranty now (3 1/2 years old but an awesome HP laptop. They charged me $40, but was able to resolve the problem thankfully, and it did not take a really long time.

I purchased a washer/dryer w/pedestals from this Bestbuy. China B. helped me get it done--not so simple for me. China engenders confidence because she knows her job cold, dependable Bestbuy representative, but she is also a delightful person to work with even for such a brief encounter. I wish you well, China. Super fast curbside service. Ordered online, got confirmation within 15 minutes that it was ready, and once I got there it was in the car within 3 minutes. Awesome service!

Best Buy has redefined theyre business model. Hire people who can swipe your credit card. But, have little to no item specific-technical knowledge. Oh......thats what the Geek Squad is for. SWIPE that credit card again. Sales associates are few and scattered all over the store. You just have to lean against something until you can snag one. Best Buy is not what they use to be.

They didn’t help me at all nor did they recommend me good advise for my AirPods so scheduling an appointment was pointless and waste of time & drive 🙄

Waited 10-15 mins to get help in the apple section.. just to realize the associate didn’t know what the MagSafe Duo Charger was.. I ended up finding it in the cellphone section.

Picked up a dishwasher using curbside. Very easy and dishwasher was a day earlier than their estimate. Best Buy was the only place that we could get a shipping date in the near future for a white Bosch dishwasher.

I needed a computer. So I went to BestBuy, found a knowledgeable associate, found what I was looking for. But then: Sorry we have 0 in stock but we can order it for you. The same thing happened with 6 other similar models, different brands that day. I just left.

I was very upset with my experience in this store tonight. The 1st person that waited on us knew absolutely nothing about printers. Even when he was trying to fake a good answer, it was so obvious. Then instead of him staying with us, he said, and I quote, When you figure out what you want, just tell a clerk near a register. Really??? So, when we found the item we wanted, we went to a clerk at the register, and he said, we probably dont have that in. OK, heres a BANNER idea, why dont you check and see. So, then we went back and searched around and finally found what we were looking for. You need to teach your employees better customer service. I blame corporate for that!! DO BETTER!!!!

The main reason to go to Best Buy is their customer service and selection. When purchasing something in which I need more information, I always go to Best Buy. They always have knowledgeable and helpful sales associates that provide that comfortable feeling that I have purchased the right product for my needs.

This is probably one of my favorite places to spend a Saturday! LOL...theres so much to see and buy! I used to love trying every gadget there was to purchase in the store but since Covid, that is on pause. I mostly order my items online and pick up in store or have them delivered. I always receive my orders exactly as ordered and on time. My latest purchase was a washer/dryer combo and it was delivered. The employees wore masks and were extremely careful bringing the washer/dryer inside as they were going on the second floor. They were able to install easily and no damage to the washer/dryer or anything in my home.

Talked with Samsung rep. He was very knowledgeable about the new Samsung phones.

They had my new Chromebook. I purchased it online and picked up in store. Everyone was very helpful.

Why the heck am i speaking to someone in South America somewhere. They cant help at all the man on the phone is just as lost trying to transfers me to someone in Asia. All i want is an appointment. I had to tell him to make me and appointment.

Terrible experience with their radio install group. They said they could do an install with my vehicle there, rushed me to go back home to get the equipment, then said they could not install, very unprofessional! Avoid going there if you can.

This location is ok. They tend to have a decent inventory, but not enough staff to really help. The last couple of times Ive shopped here Ive left the store empty handed because I couldnt find what I was looking for and the folks I asked for help were busy with other customers or I got deferred to someone who never showed up.

I always feel visibly invisible at this store. I am looking to purchase a new laptop. Granted, they were busy, however, no one said hello and that they would help me when they could. I was there for at least 20 minutes or so. I decided to look elsewhere for a new laptop.

Rude staff especially at the front door. Employees seem to think COVID regulations dont apply to them. Ill probably bring a flare gun next time because if you need help Employees walk right past you. Maybe then theyll notice. Or perhaps a neon sign. Luckily Im savvy in electronics because the staff here is about as useful as the second page of a Google search.

I wanted to purchase Asus laptop flip an windows office suite. Waited bout 10min to be served. Store associate told me I needed to wear a mask before being served... really? So nevermind the fact that the governor says I dont need to mask up eh? Should have just stuck with Amazon smh.

Ever wonder why amazon is killing best buy? You have to wait in line for someone to ask what your looking for, rather then just have a greeter readily available.The place is getting baren and the staff is not very helpful. I would highly recommend amazon, its cheaper and you dont have to deal with best buy. Just look at the people in the return line if your skeptical
