I came here in November and December 2020 to get a light fixture for my living room and then my bathroom. The staff was unbelievably helpful and knew exactly what I was looking for. The light fixture I wanted for my living room was the last one they had (display model) and the staff member (I forget his name) took down the light fixture, gave me a discount since it was a floor model, and painstakingly wrapped it and put it in to a custom box so I could take it home with little hassle. When I came back for the bathroom light, the same man helped me find one that matched the style of my living room light. I highly recommend coming here for all your light fixture needs, they have a great selection of standing lamps as well.

I would highly recommend A&E Bowery Lighting. Ive shopped in many of the lighting stores in the lighting district and A&E is a standout because of its very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. If youre looking for lighting, you should definitely stop by A&E. Fair and competitive pricing.

We were looking for a specific lighting fixture for our bathroom. We looked at many places. We went down to the Bowery to see what lighting stores were still open. Few were and most were grim. Then we walked into A & E Bowery lighting. Their stock was fully up to date with excellent LED choices. Moreover, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and really knew their products. Price was great and the quality was very high. Couldnt find a lighting store that could hold a candle to them.

5 stars! Excellent customer service and attention to detail. A and E was helpful in sourcing and shipping recessed light fixtures for my apartment. They were prompt and helpful and despite all of the manufacturer slow downs made the process as easy as possible. I highly recommend and look forward to ordering more fixtures in the near future.

This store has a beautiful selection. Joseph helped us and it was immediately obvious that he has thought about all the details that can go into making the right light fixture decision. We needed a pull chain fixture and we knew there are not many models to choose from but Joseph quickly volunteered that many of the fixtures in the store inventory could be modified to fit out needs. We found the prices fair and the service excellent.

Thought they were honest people in the chinatown community but didnt want to return unopened materials when i asked because it was a special order. They told me everything can be exchanged or returned before purchasing. Beware!

This is one of the best lighting stores in Bowery. The owners are friendly, helpful and non pushy. They have curated a good selection of lights. Their prices are fair. I bought a selection of chandeliers/lights once from them 3 years back and once more recently.
