I ordered a beautiful chandelier for 1,400$ that was to go in our new dining room, I ordered it and kept it in the original packing. With covid, the construction took much longer than anticipated. We can finally hang the chandelier and it is much to large. I realize that the 30 day return was surpassed due to unexpected delays. I called and asked if we could return or exchange it for a chandelier that would fit. They said absolutely not. They were incredibly unhelpful and unwilling to work to solve this. I would have thought they would have had more compassion during this pandemic,

NY Lighting has a strong website as I used to work with them. Does anyone know what happened to the stores? Lighting by Gregory also had a strong store considered a NYC institution. Covid stimulus should have paid rents... bc these brick and mortar type businesses are vital to healthy margins. And health care doesnt come cheap, rent etc as we get to lazy to walk... which is why the solo economy may be here... which is tough for alot of people who dont have the startup cash like cash rich individuals or venture Capitalists / private equity who work on thinner margins waging their bets with OPMs (other peoples Money). Happy times are hear again maybe but when and how? And for how many of us.
