Nice selections and comfortable seating to hangout. Next door is a liquor stood & Cigar Inn offers BYOB. Owner was helpful and gave us a vide variety of selections and suggestions to pick from. They close at 11 PM (atleast tonight they were) and we got a 20 mins heads-up to finish our drink & smoke. Waiter was courteous and she regularly cleared out ash tray, brought ice cubes at regular intervals and was attentive to customers. Worth paying a visit is you want to explore cigars in city !

Great and welcoming place for a smoke. Well stocked and well kept walk in humidor. And if you want to smoke your own stick, the cutting fee is ten dollars.

Great small spot to hang out - theres a bit of a variety with the cigar room. BYOB option with a charge but nothing that will break the bank. Cool staff members, sports tv, and cool music. Recommend for a quick place to satisfy your cigar urge.

This review is for the Cigar Inn by Casa de Montristo on 73rd at the end of November 2019, not 2nd Ave & 53rd. Do not get confused, this is not the one youd like to visit.There is no lounge, due to a presumed issue with ventilation. Thats not a great sign for a cigar store. Similarly, there is heavy humidifier activity and very low traffic (I saw one other customer) which is a sign that they have humidification problems.Pros - good selection (no Flor de Antilles) at competitive prices for NYC. Stick to high volume sellers.Cons - not well maintened, DO NOT GET YOUR SPECIAL OCCASION Sticks here, the Padrons were peeling apart. My suspicion is lack of proper environmental controls and a lack of product rotation.

This place is a hidden gem and a cigar smokers dream come true in NYC. Located on 73rd between 1st and 2nd Avenue let Arnel and his team host you in this cool setting with a great selection of premium cigars at great prices. Leather seating hard wood floors and televisions all around. Stop by burn one with some friends or come alone and make a new one.

I stopped by the Cigar Inn NYC today while I was in the neighborhood. This was my 5th time there and today’s visit has cemented my opinion that they are THE BEST Cigar Shop/Lounge in the city. As always the staff was highly knowledgable, helpful, courteous, polite and most important....WELCOMING! The selection is magnificent and (despite its location on Manhattans upper east side) prices are lower on Cigars and accessories then many thst I’ve found, even in the outer boroughs.In my opinion if your soemone who enjoys cigars or are a full on aficionado, your doing yourself a disservice if your in Manhattan and don’t visit the Cigar Inn.

Had exactly what I needed and the atmosphere was relaxed.

NOT CROWDED THE EXHAUST NEEDS TO BE BETTER!
