For 29 years we have taken all of our cars, our childrens cars and their spouses cars to Jeffrey p Davis automotive. That should speak volumes. I wont take my car to anyone but Jeffrey p Davis. Fast, friendly, fair and honest. He once drove hours to rescue my husband and two boys when a car broke down in the middle of nowhere. That is way above and beyond normal service.

This place is very customer friendly and I felt like they truly cared about me. The staff here are very nice. Anyway, I was going to purchase a car from a private seller, and I took it here to have a “pre-sale” diagnostic inspection to make sure everything with the car was in working order. It was only a $45 service, so it wasn’t terrible. I was impressed by how thoroughly the mechanic inspected the car. He pointed out a lot of helpful things. One of which is that he said the rear wheel bearing needed replacement (as the car made a loud growling sound at higher speeds). I later ended up purchasing the car, and I took it to a dealership to have the bearing changed. The dealer later called me saying that the wheel bearing was changed, but that the growling was still there. They then questioned me, “who in the heck told you the rear wheel bearing needed replacement?!” Needless to say, I felt very dumb in this moment. It turned out to be the front wheel bearing that needed replacement... The mechanic probably made a simple error, but his error ended up costing me an extra $400 to change a wheel bearing that didn’t need to be fixed. I was extremely frustrated.

I just received a four wheel alignment. My car drives great. Ive only drove a mile but its great. I got a really great deal on Groupon. The staff are awesome I believe his name was Tyler if I remember right and answered a few questions I have. Will definitely be going back there again.

Friendly, efficient, honest, fair, helpful.I don’t know much about cars... just how to operate them. I’m a busy Mom and am usually in a hurry and always on the go. About a year ago, My car was randomly having trouble starting for a few weeks. Every time I would get the battery tested, the battery was good. The issue was so random and sometimes it wouldn’t have any issues for a few days. For a while, I was using a portable jumper to get it to start for me.I was referred to JP Davis Auto and i am beyond pleased with the quality of service provided. Jeff made the issue and resolution easy for me to understand, got the job done, and I haven’t had any issues since. Mechanics like Jeff are one in a million. I won’t go to anyone else to service my car!

I have not every been there to get my car fixed, but I do cars off there with my tow truck. Also I have never picked one up from there that hasnt been able to be fixed.

I trust these guys. They have worked on quite a few of my vehicles and I have always felt that they are honest and fare. They even go beyond in some cases for example one of my vehicles I noticed had pretty bad battery corrosion on both terminals of my battery. I later dropped off my vehicle for an oil change and tire rotation(never mentioned the battery)...when I got the car back I later noticed that they had totally cleaned my battery terminals. I was impressed that they would take the time to do something beyond what I asked for.

Been taking my car there for years. It’s the only place I will go.

We have been taking our fleet of work trucks to Jeff for over 15 years because we can always trust their work. Honest and fair priced.

I was referred a couple of years ago and after my first visit was impressed with the service and staff. The receptionist was always helpful and approachable. I had times when my vehicle would breakdown and I would call and they would find a way to get me in. Finding a good mechanic is easy it’s finding great ones that is a challenge and they were great. Given my first experience with them and the fact I think highly of them makes it difficult for me to write this next part. A couple of months ago the transmission in my truck started slipping and the air conditioner quit working which they had repaired and replaced the compressor in July of 2017. I called and asked if I could bring it in. They set up a time for a few days later and I brought it in. They looked at the transmission and the air conditioner and when they called me back it wasn’t Jeff in fact I don’t know who it was. They told me I needed a new transmission or rebuilt which would be $4500.00 dollars and then he told me the compressor for my AC they replaced in July of 2017 also needed to be replaced. I reminded him they had repaired the AC and installed the existing compressor and he said it only had a 12 month warranty and they wouldn’t cover anything of any part of it so I would need to pay full price to have it repaired. I also explained I could get a transmission from a reputable parts company and it would come with a warranty and it would save me $3000.00 dollars. I was told if they used it they would charge me an extra 30% in labor for the transmission and they wouldn’t warranty their labor on the installation. I picked up my truck and took it to a mechanic I’ve used in the passed. They have been around for over 40 years and the reason I quit using them was because they moved and it was to far to drive. I didn’t tell them what happen only that I needed my air conditioning fixed and to find out what was wrong with the transmission. They did a full diagnostic and came back to me and told me exactly what was wrong with my transmission. It needed a new filter was flushed and is working fine. The AC is repaired and I was able to get a new compressor which is warrantied. I also learned Jeffry had sold his shop one of his mechanics who has been with him for a awhile which I don’t take issue with. It’s that as a customer they were adamant about my transmission which I learned after taking it somewhere else didn’t need to be replaced. I will also add that I asked the second repair shop about getting a transmission and they said there wouldn’t be an additional charge for labor to install it and they to wouldn’t warranty the part which I was fine with since it came with a manufacturers warranty. As I stated earlier I was happy with the service I received and the quality of the mechanics up to this point. When I went in this last time there was no receptionist and I had to wait longer to talk with someone. Unless they become customer oriented I will not go back regardless of how close I am to their shop.

I have had to take my car into the shop 3 seperate times (different repairs each time) within the last 6 months. Based on my experience, I would reccomend these guys to anyone. They do honest work at a fair price. I would give 6 stars if I could.

4 months ago when my car just wouldnt start one morning, I asked my co workers for a place to take my car. All of them in the room recommended Jeffrey P. Davis, and since I knew nothing about cars and needed my car to transport myself to and from work I had nothing to lose! As soon as they received my vehicle they called me to let me know. Within just a few days I got a call saying it was ready to be picked up and they were able to replace the fuel pump. Just last week, my car started having the same issue and I hurried to call again and they were so friendly and made me feel like they truly cared! It turned out it was an issue with the fuel pump, but an easy fix. As they said in their guarantee, I didnt pay anything since it was in warranty still! I will recommend this place to everyone I know, they truly care about you and helping you out! Thank you for your help, and fixing my car! :)

Every once in a while you come across a unicorn like this business. Mechanics that are honest and efficient are almost impossible to find. Jeff treated me fairly and got work done quickly and then he was honest and up front with my wife and didnt take advantage of her lack of automobile knowledge. My only reservation in recommending him so highly is that hell get so busy that Ill have a harder time getting my car into his shop!

I took my Toyota to this shop because I had been told that they were a shop that did quality work for a reasonable price. My experience, however, was an awful combination of rude, dismissive customer service and price gouging. When they informed me that they my vehicle needed a $900 part, I inquired what part it was. After searching for the part online, I found multiple retailers offering the same, new own part for less than $400. When I shared this information with my service tech, Tyler, he was extremely rude and told me to install the part myself if I didnt want to pay the $500 mark up. I couldnt believe what I was hearing. Ive never felt more disrespected as a customer.If you value your hard earned dollars, never use Jeffrey Davis Automotive.

We called to schedule an appointment, showed up for said appointment, only to be told you talked to the wrong person, you dont have an appointment. Adding insult to injury... the receptionist insists that the fault is on our part.Bottom line: good mechanics, bad business practice, lackluster receptionist.
