I went there, in desperation, my new/ used (267,000 miles) Mercedes C350 needed to be licensed, however it was throwing codes. Zack was immediately welcoming and assured me that Melvin could take of it. Melvin more than took care of my Mercedes, he stayed after hours to make sure everything was working and repaired properly. I am a customer for life!!

This was an amazing place to go u had the check engine light on for some reason and it would go off sometimes and come back again after I had the AC blowing hot air was weird but these guys did a great job I strongly recommend them. I found them going online and reading from others experiences don’t regret taking my vehicle in.

Got recommended to seek out German Cars and Melvin for his expertise in Mercedes cars. I hadnt made an appointment but asked if I could get a quick diagnostic ran from a check engine light on my 07 MB E550. Found out two coils were going bad. Melvin although busy, offered to quickly fix the coils and gave a full print out of the diagnostic. Got the coils replaced, codes cleared, check engine light gone and car running smoother than before in less than 30 minutes. Also went out of his way to answer questions I had about other things about my car. Awesome service, great professionalism and knowledge, highly recommended!

Great honest owner. I rather take my car here than to the dealer. If it can be fixed they will do it unlike the dealership which would rather replace than repair. I like honest people and the fact they are always busy shows I am not the only one to trust this place.

You could not find a better mechanic than Melvin. I live in a rural area and no one could fix my Mercedes 300E . I brought it to German Car Service on a recommendation from a friend. Melvin gave it the once over and quickly diagnosed the problems. The car is fixed and runs like brand new. AAA+

I started coming to German Car Services about 2 years ago when my gas tank started leaking. The shop owner was very friendly, knowledgable and fixed my car very quickly. I really needed my car that weekend and they were able to get me on the road in no time. I have been going to their shop consistently for the last 2 years and Im happy to report that they are very honest and their prices are very reasonable. Having a German car, I know car repairs are going to be expensive but this shop always tells me the price beforehand and calls if anything changes. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their car fixed!

I recently moved to Murray & needed to find a new/closer auto mechanic for my Benz & BMW. Eating at a close by McDs I saw the sign German Car Service. Stopped by & asked a few questions. Was surprised that they only work on Benz. Fast Forward: Mel & Jeff have worked on my Benz a few times. Ive been delighted with how quickly I could in, how quickly my car was diagnosed, prices & ultimately repaired. Im so happy with them that I sold my BMW & got another Benz. NO KIDDING !!!

Forgot to post this months ago but melvin is a very good mechanic i would recommend him over anyone when it comes to a benz. I had a couple of mechanics take a look at my car, but only melvin got right on it! he told me very honestly what was wrong with my car. He also didnt charge me crazy like most people. Definitely a good place to take your car to get fixed

Melvin has always been great and honest. His shop is probably the busiest in the city other than the dealer because he is so good as well as fair. My last car purchase was another Mercedes-Benz so I did not have to look for a new mechanic.

I was on a cross country trip attempting to drive my fathers 1995 E320 from Los Angeles to Chicago, via Missoula, Montana and Fountain, Colorado where I was stopping to visit my kids. The idea was to store it for my dad in my garage as he is living out of the country at this time. The car only made it as far as just south of Salt Lake City before refusing to go any farther (engine would cut out after running for only a few seconds). It was late in the evening of December 23rd, so there was no getting it fixed right away - but fortunately for me I was only a few miles from German Car Service, and I found out about this business and its great Reviews by googling while waiting for AAA to show up to tow me. Fortunately, my daughter and her boyfriend were also driving from L.A. to Montana and only about an hour ahead of me, so they came back and picked me up and we all still made the family Christmas Eve Brunch the next morning.Mel at German Car Service diagnosed and fixed the problem and upon my request, went over the whole car and found several crucial things that needed to be addressed, including a rebuild of the Electronic Throttle Actuator which had wires in its loom that were completely bare (the ETA, like the Upper Engine Wiring Harness in these cars was made with biodegradable insulation on the wiring - a big DUH moment for Mercedes Benz Engineers). He took pictures of the units (bare) wires and sent them to me.I just recently flew to Salt Lake City, got an Uber to Mels shop, picked up the (perfectly running) car and completed the planned itinerary of the previous trip. My oldest son flew into SLC as well, and together we drove up to Missoula, Montana, then down to Fountain, Colorado, then on to Chicago, completing a total of about 2,700 miles of driving. The car ran flawlessly, thanks to Mel at German Car Service. If I ever move to anywhere even remotely near to Salt Lake City, German Car Service in Murray, Utah will be my go to place (if I own a Mercedes, or any other car Mel would be willing to maintain and repair if needed).Note, that I am a life-long mechanic and still occasionally do work on my own cars and also some of my neighbors cars (professionally) and have been doing so, even doing upper engine and transmission work, for forty years. As such, I am qualified to recognize competence and honesty in mechanics and repair facilities.

I have an older Benz and they are great at getting me in and out. Plus, they don’t give me grief when I do work myself.
