Good and honest. I brought my car in needing a new muffler and instead of doing it themselves and charging me a ton they recommended ANOTHER specialty muffler place that was way cheaper. Ive been going back for my car needs ever since.

My vehicle started having a strange noise, so I pulled in. I dont live close, I was traveling. The mechanic I first saw knew just what the problem was, I was still in four-wheel drive. Quick fix, but he still came with me on a drive to listen to the car and feel that it was ok and hadnt been damaged. I tried to pay for his time, but he said he wouldnt charge. They were very personable.

I went in not having a heater or Air conditioning. All I really wanted was heat. They were able to repair it within a couple of hours and save me a ton of money

I had these guys check out a Mercedes/Dodge sprinter van thats been converted into a camper van that Im considering purchasing. Even though it was too tall to fit into the shop they still were able to do a very very thorough inspection! I expected them to solely check the engine and mechanics of the vehicle itself. However, Kelvin went above and beyond and reviewed everything inside too!! Im talking appliances/outlets/conversion related aspects, which was such a pleasant and unnecessary task for him to take on. Im not mechanically inclined and with such a large vehicle I felt it was necessary to have someone check it out and Im glad I did! Kelvin found a handful of things that needed fixing and even offered his professional opinion on whether or not I should purchase the vehicle based on the shape it was in. Great experience overall. Did I mention I called in Saturday morning at 10am and they said they could get me in for an inspection at 1pm?! Unheard of! Really appreciated my experience with this shop.

I have been working with Kelvin. I recently had my car checked out at a Mazda dealership and they gave me some incorrect information- presumably to scam money off of me. Took it here and was given honest answers about what needed to be done, saving me hundreds of dollars. He went out of his way to look for good prices for tires for me and gave me both the options for different price ranges of parts. I am always a little distrustful and weary when it comes to car work because I am a young woman and don’t want to be scammed. I trust this place. Quick work too!

Taken 2 different cars here. They are honest and will try to figure out the best and cheapest option for you. One car had an AC issue and based on the symptoms it could have been the compressor. Instead of telling us we needed that they had us try the cheaper option of just recharging the ac. So far its worked great. Other vehicle had a more serious issue with the engine. Gave me all the options up front and also tried to work with Ford to see if they would cover anything even though it was out of warranty. I will definitely return here for service.

Kelvin was awesome and willing to jump in and help me when I was in a super time crunch with my Jeep. They got the electric issue resolved quickly and saved the day/weeek!

Each time I’ve brought a vehicle here it’s been repaired quickly, for a good price. Truthful mechanics and they always make sure I understand what was wrong with my car and what they did to repair. Welcoming atmosphere as well.

Do not go to this Tunex! They are horrible. I took my truck in for safety and emissions Not too long ago and they caused $800 worth of damage to my car and they continue to try to fix it but always made it worse. I ended up paying another $800 for a real mechanic to fix all of their mistakes. They should not be in business. I never got my money back for what they damaged. The only way to contact the person in charge of the place is by fax. Who has a fax machine these days?

They were very helpful in helping us get a used car for our son to use in college. Many times we thought we found a good one only to be told all the problems with it. This led us to find a good one that will be more reliable. We appreciate all the time they spent in helping us.We also take our cars there for normal repairs. They have been great to work with.

Kelvin is a great mechanic and very thorough. I had my daughters car in for oil change and fluids check when he noticed the tires were showing bare wires through the rubber. He found a good deal on tires and got everything done efficiently.

Over charged me for something they didn’t even do. Check engine light came on again 30 miles after repair. Had my boyfriend take it in and have them show him the part. Turns out it was never replaced. They replaced it because it was under warranty but they tried blaming it on something else to get out of the warranty. They drove my car 35 miles to check everything but they blew out my speakers, ran it out of gas and they destroyed a hat that was in the back seat. Will never go back to them.

These guys got me in quick and when I asked for it to be done sooner than their estimated time, they came through and had it ready 2 hrs earlier. The price seemed reasonable. I plan to come back when needed.

Management assisted a gentleman with a vehicle concern after the vehicle overheated. Management walked down the street and met with the gentleman to look the Nissan Titan he was driving to help with any potential repairs.

I went there a few days ago for my emissions test. They did an awesome job and they told me that I needed to change my cabin air filter because it was filthy. The dealership never told me that. That did an awesome job there and I will go there again.

Dont pretend that you got a phone call. I went into this place because my wife said that she called Tunex in Murray so when I put into Google maps Tunex in Murray it pulls up Murray Car care center so I was like Ok Ill go there because I do remember that there was a Tunex in Murray. So when I saw the place I was like these guys look like they are in over their heads. All the bays had cars in them and I was thinking to myself my car is not going to get looked at today. So I was like well my wife said she called this place. So I go in. I saw Kelvin and Minh. I talked Kelvin and after I had explained my situation with my mountaineer he acted as if my wife had called there. When I finally called my wife back she checked the number and it was the wrong place it was in riverton. So I dislike this place for pretending they got a phone call when they didnt. Bad on Google maps and Google assistant for giving me the wrong place when asked for Tunex. And bad on my the love of my life to give me the wrong city.

Went here because they know carburetors and for how old my car it was a necessity they also assured me of the security of their lot

I was stranded at the store with my kids and a very nice man Calven asked if we needed a jumpstart, I let him know my gas paddle was loose he immediately fixed it with in minutes and went on his way. I’m a single mom of 10 kids he was a blessing. I will definitely take my van to his shop for all issues. Calven was friendly, very helpful and just amazing and did I mentioned this was late at night

My air conditioning went out, about a month ago. I brought it in and was very well treated. My problem was diagnosed quickly, and I had my car back a few hours later. They were polite and courteous. I will be using them again in the future.

I usually have good at experiences at different locations of tunex, but this one wasnt very professional. Needed a bolt for a brake which cost $11 after waiting a half hour for the part to show up they then gave me the quote of $47 with labor and the part, ALL while they were already installing it. Felt like they were trying to pull a quick one on me. I could have installed it in two Minutes with a total cost of $11.

Mein and Kelvin are the best. I always feel like I am getting straight talk and honesty. They always check-in with me before doing work that may cost more than expected. I never hesitate to take my kids POS cars in to keep them running safely at a fair price.

My car was having problems and i was afraid it would be really expensive to fix. They ran an engine diagnostic on it and just switched some wires free of charge and it was working good as new. I highly recommend this auto shop. They were friendly helpful and honest about everything. They even tried to fix it before they diagnosed it to try and save me money. I will come here next time my car has problems.

Cant rate them high enough! My husband has used them in the past, so when my radio in my car wouldnt turn off, I thought of them first. I pulled in, they took out the fuse so that my battery wouldnt be drained, and helped me set up an appointment with the dealership for the next day. They made sure that the dealership offered a free shuttle before the proceeded with helping with my appointment. They didnt officially run any diagnostics, so they didnt charge. They worked fast so I could get back to my work quickly. Im so grateful for their help! Feel confident going to them--they seem to show great care for their customers.

I cant say enough about Kelvin and Minh! I brought my car in believing there was a problem with my alternator. Upon inspection, Kelvin found out the problem wasnt with the alternator but with the pulley and belt system. A less scrupulous company couldve done the unnecessary repair in addition to what was actually wrong and I wouldve been none the wiser. Plus they got me in super fast considering the holiday and treated me with courteous respect, something just as valuable as the great service. Well done guys! You have just gained a loyal customer.

My son and I were searching for a car for his graduation gift for days.... We found the one it was a wonderful deal so to be safe we took the car for an inspection with Murray Car Care. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for an honest, professional, very detail oriented mechanic and or inspections for unknown problems with the purchase of a new vehicles process. It takes 1 hour they check literally top to bottom. We were advised 1 strut was on its way out, new tires in the future and the 100,000 Mike tune up. THATS ALL!! The car we purchased is a 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer w/ 97,000 miles. Even has some Evo parts they very well could have told us that we had much much more problems to get us back but they said when and if wed like then to help they are more than happy. No pressure, no scares, no lies... Its a cruel world we live in. People are not honest most the time because of that money 💸.... if I could rate more than 5 stars I would!! Thank you for helping my son and I make the right purchase.

These folks have always been so good to us. We have a couple of really old cars that they know well. They recognize us every time we go in and recognize our cars even better. Theyve done many things free or told us we didnt need something done that someone else had said we needed. They replaced the engine in my moms car and it has been going strong for four or five years. I had someone else replace an engine in my car, and it only lasted 14 months; I wont make that mistake again. Great place for our family of Toyotas ranging from 1999 to 2016.

I do all the minor stuff (mostly) on our cars. But, when I need an expert or have a mechanical problem that is above my pay grade I always go to these guys first. I have been using their services for close to 28 years. I am well acquainted with Minh and Kelvin, et al. They do great work are super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I have no qualms about recommending them to anyone for anything. I cant give them high enough praise.

Kelvin the general manager helped me sooo much with problems that would have cost me a fortune to fix at a dealership. They did an oil change, replaced a brake light, replaced some seals and fixed my a/c all for a great price on my 2005 Audi A4. I highly recommend them.

Ive had great experiences and have come back many times. Kelvin is a very nice and straightforward mechanic. When I needed to replace the AC unit in my 98 Buick (that turned out to be a rare unit that was only used one year in production), Kelvin spent alot of time calling around trying to find a replacement system for me, and I appreciated it. The owner/manager is a really nice guy as well. They also get you in and out in a decent amount of time, so youre not bored sitting in a mechanic shop all day. Quality mechanic shops like this dont come around too often

They will rip you off. My 2011 Jeep Liberty failed safety and emissions. I took it to this Tunex to diagnose and the said it would cost almost $400 to fix. They said two pieces needed to be replaced one costing $180 and the other $80 and about $100 for labor. I got one of the pieces from the Jeep Dealership for $120 and the other for $20. It took me about 20 minutes to change them myself.

Once again had great service here. They have always been fast and fair.

Kelvin worked and reworked on my 2012 subaru til it wasnt having the specific problem anymore. He is trustworthy and helpful, totally reccomend.

Went there to get to the AC checked, advertised free AC check, they pull the cables around and confirm the compressor is out and quoted $930 to change. I got it checked at another auto shop who did a performance check and recharged for $100. Dishonest!
