Very nice, decently sized and clean! It didnt overwhelm me and I was able to enjoy just petting and being with the cats.My only complaint is that I wish I could have adopted a cat! I wouldnt want to put any cat through the long drive back to Canada, though.

Me and my girlfriend went and we loved all the different cats/kittens they had. Only thing is that there was a family there with kids taking pictures and playing with the cats. The kids would smack the cats in the face for them to go back to take a picture. I dont think the employees saw it but it was a bit sad for the cats because they arent your things to take a picture of. The parents just watched them do it and i told them to stop but they didnt listen. I was relieved when they left and it was way calmer. The cats seemed to enjoy the peace and just being loved. So i guess just get ready to have multiple other people in there with you. The entrance fee is $11 per person pretty much and drinks are separate which honestly took me by surprise. (Most of it was prepackaged and priced up) I only got a drink here but I was glad I ate before coming because otherwise I would have gotten more. Overall great! We look forward to adopting a cat in the future!( i am just going to edit this since i cant reply to the response. I will take responsibility that i did not inform the employees that it was going on. I should have. However i would also like to state that all employees were in the room with us and near the kids the majority of the time. Making it seem like it was all my fault that it happened is just absurd and you want me to come back? It wasnt my responsibility to watch the kids that is their parents responsibility. Same goes for the cats that is your responsibility. Being aware of the problem and saying that you are increasing vigilance means nothing unless you actually do it. Having someone tell you shouldnt be the solo way that you prevent it. It is another thing if this just happened once but other people have also experienced this issue. According to a previous review from 2 years ago this has been an on going problem so if it happened back then why is it still happening. I apologize for not saying anything as for future situations i will. i would say that i wouldnt mind coming back because the cats are adorable but i am not sure i would want to after that reply. )

Loved it!!! The staff was very friendly. It is adorable! The hour flies by. It was great to go in and play with the cats. Such cute decor. The merch is cute too! Def go!

I had followed catfiene’s socials for a while but finally made a visit this past weekend! So many cute kitties and a very kind staff. It’s very apparent the cats are well taken care of and the staff is doing a wonderful job making sure they are sent to loving homes! Also very affordable for a visit whether you’re planning to adopt or just chill with kitties for an hour. Loved this place and will definitely return!

This place is the cat’s meow! Not only do they help cute cats and kittens find furever homes, it is also a really fun place to come hang out! You can schedule your visit online and the price is by the hour! The price was very reasonable and this place definitely was a serotonin boost! I will definitely visit again and let all my cat lovers know where to go!

Catfeine is a precious little place! It serves as a foster home for cats and kittens and invites people to come play with and socialize with the kitties. It’s main goal is to find forever homes for them. It is very clean and pretty well organized. I believe they have even made reserving time slots more organized since I visited. The decor is super adorable and all cat themed.I gave it 4 stars because you expect it to be a cafe based on the name and their marketing. However, it’s mostly just prepackaged muffins and such that you can find at the store (but prices marked up) and coffee from a machine. It is, however, Just Love coffee which is a nice local touch. It seems a bit pricey to go sit in a room with cats, but, hey, it’s all for a good cause!

Very fun place I am a cat lover and I would be happy to go back at any time. The cats were very fun and there is a option to adopt a cat if you really love them. And I am exited to go see more cats. The workers are also very nice people I would recommend going there.

This was one of the best cat cafes Ive ever been to! Ive been to the one in Nashville, which is also good, but this one is just so special and theres tons of great cats and the workers are just wonderful! Its an all around great experience and I would recommend any cat lovers or anyone wanting to have a good time to go here!! 15/5 stars!!

Great place to spend an hour if you enjoy cats!There were about a dozen or more felines here today, and I enjoyed getting the chance to spend time with them.I have never seen a place so cat friendly. From the furniture to the decor, it is like a shrine to cats.Im not the most outgoing person when it comes to other people, and I was pleased that conversation was not required. Except, of course, with a very friendly, very large Tom cat.

I love the cat cafe but they should definitely make the age requirements minimum 18 years old. Or enforce the rules really strictly before people go in. The cat cafe is a refuge for hurt, homeless, or abandoned cats. It breaks my heart to know they are being scared and disrespected by kids. Why are the employees not watching the kids if they know this is a problem? (Edit: I know this is a better place than some, but I am just concerned for the cats) A lot of cats don’t like so many people around, but they let a lot of people in at once. This is definitely not the best place for a cat to be. I loved seeing the cats, and I am so happy this is a place for them to find homes, but something needs to be done for them to feel safer here.

I visited for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it! The kind lady working was very friendly and answered so many questions for me, as well as spent time introducing the cats. The cafe was so clean and spacious. I was encouraged to spend time with the sweet kitty I came to inquire about. Cant wait to come back this weekend again to visit!

The place was fun and clean. Idle chit chat turned out to be snooping for info. I have an indoor cat that likes to go outside in our backyard sometimes for sun and fun. We were told we are unable to adopt the cat we wanted because we let our cat outside and the cat we wanted is for indoors only. At what point is something like this overreach? Other than this we loved our experience here.

Great place to stop by be a cool cat with 18 other furry cat friends. Plus if youre interested in adopting one while you are there thats an option or just pet the furry friendly kittens or cats who happen to be there. I forgot to mention grab some coffee tea or soda pop.

Went for my spouse’s birthday, since we both love cats and coffee it seemed to be the perfect place to go. The time slots to enjoy one on one time with the cats is the best option. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of all the cats they take care of overall a good place to go hang out and if you want to adopt a cat this is the place for you as well

Such an amazing experience!! Unlike other cat cafes, here you are allowed to pick up the cats, get on the floor with them, cuddle them, and play with them! All the cats are so cute and playful AND theyre ALL adoptable!! If youre feeling stressed from work or school (and you love cats) then this is definitely the place for you!!

I loved this place! To be honest, I havent physically visited this place in over a year due to the pandemic, but I still remember it fondly. Everyone was very friendly and the place had a very welcoming atmosphere. It was so special to be able to spend so much time with the cats. It was obvious that they are well cared for and loved. Especially if you are a cat lover, dont miss the chance to spend some time here.

Great place to get a cup of coffee and play with cats. My cat loving family all enjoy getting a gift from here. We have plenty of cats at home but the cafe setting is fun. We get inspired by the cafe to make our home more cat friendly. Come and appreciate each unique cat and visit again to meet the new crew. It is always a different experience because it is different kitties.

The building was very well kept and the cat room was so well designed. Perfect for cats to perch and have plenty of space. We came to play with the cats and had a great time.The proceeds we paid for our time go to care for the cats until they are adopted so definitely a win win. We hope to come by and play with the cats for a serotonin boost. Or at least until we can get space for a 3rd furbaby.

They have a lot of kittens right now, for half of the time I was there they were very energetic and fun to play with and the other half they were sleepy and nice to hold.The cafe is two rooms were in the front room you may purchase the half hour or full hour kitty session as well as buy a variety of bottled cold drinks and packaged snacks and other things like shirts and car stickers.The second room is the one that has the cats, they are free to roam throughout the room as well as a separate room just for the cats. We were able to bring our drinks into this room as long as the cats couldnt get them.

Definitely an interesting experience, and I mean that in a good way!I originally expected something like a private session with the cats, because I booked a time slot online. But it turns out the cat lounge is open to whoever is there, whether they booked online or walked in.In hindsight, that obviously makes more sense for financial reasons, but it did feel a little awkward at first, being that there were 12 guests and maybe 5 cats milling around between them (others were asleep on shelves, and guests arent allowed to pick them up).Everyone was very respectful, but it did feel a little competitive, since we were all just there to enjoy the cats. As we know, cats usually only give attention when THEY want to, so getting to interact with them involved waiting for a bit for 1 or 2 to mosey your way.All in all, I had a good time, and the staff were very sweet, but Id rather come back when I knew there was less activity. Maybe something on the website or booking section could indicate how much traffic theyre getting at a certain time? Or if they offer smaller sessions, I would also be interested.

I LOVE this place. The owners and part-time workers are always so friendly and you can tell they really love the cats. They work hard to get all the cats comfortable with other cats and people but also know them enough to be really attentive to the stress and happiness level of all the fosters. They have adopted so many out already. I cant have a cat right now, but I love to go and de-stress a bit with some play time and I can feel good knowing Im helping cats and humans meet and find forever homes. Nice selection of both cat and branded merch available. Also a loyalty program! Its worth the drive to M-boro

Very cute cat cafe. Cats were lovely. Some playful. Some sleepy. Some disinterested. You know, typical cat behavior. Alright coffee. I only got a black coffee, so I dont know how their other drinks taste. They sell bottled non-coffee drinks, too. There is a lot of cat-related merchandise.

What a wonderful place! We needed some where to kill an hour and found this place while looking for a coffee shop. Its true its more cats than coffee shop, but thats what we loved! I was too busy petting kitties to even drink my drink. We went on a weekday which was great because we were the only ones there and the cats were ready to play. I only wish I could have adopted a fur baby. We will definitely be back for more kitty play time!

Really cute place. Came with my friend and our children and let them play while we chatted and drank coffee. It was very clean and did not smell like cats at all. The coffee was amazing too btw. They have a machine that lets you choosewhat you want and lots of different creamers. So yes, I made it but mine never tastes that good at home for some reason. LolThe employees were very sweet and rolled the fabric chairs after a cat got out of the chair after lounging. The kids loved it. I highly recommend!

So many kitties, and most of them were up when we were in on a Sunday at 1:00. Tons of toys and seating. And they did at least two adoptions while we played with the cats. And the merchandise is excellent. Go already!

A lovely small venue in which customers can purchase coffee and beverages from cans or a dispensing machine - and meet sweet cats! The cafe gives foster cats a temporary home and a chance to meet potential adopters. Customers pay for an hour with the cats - and things can get busy, so you may want to call ahead or book online. Very, very highly recommended.

Awesome place! Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of cats to play with- and adopt if you want! The space is clean and spacious for playing with the cats. They have a little shop up front with tons of cute cat things (home decor, clothing, mugs, etc) for sale at a good price. The visits themselves are well priced. They also have started doing themed events (singles mixer, cat yoga, trivia night, etc) that add even more fun to the experience. GO VISIT Catfeine! You will not regret it!

I’ve been here twice and I absolutely love it!Staff is very friendly, prices are fair and there are tons of cats!I tell you there’s nothing quite as awesome as the first moment you step into the room with all the cats. Not all of them are up for playing but you’ll get in plenty of pets and it’s just a fun and relaxing time.My only complaint is that the “cafe” part is a bit lacking and I’d wish they would rearrange the front room so that tables are by the windows for folks who would just like to stop by for a cup of coffee and to gaze at the cats rather than pay to play.Overall this is a fantastic place that’s going a lot of good and I can’t wait for my next trip!

A MUST visit for anybody in Tennessee who loves cats! I traveled a few hours and was not disappointed at all. Very friendly staff, clean environment, happy and cute cats and extremely cute kitty decor. I definitely recommend visiting and will be coming back!

Such a wonderful place to chill and interact with cats! I highly recommend it!My only gripe is that I feel an age restriction may be in order. During my session, there were three little girls. One chased the cats and scared them very bad, one kept taking them directly away from other guests as they were interacting with them, and one was glue to her phone as she walked, thus at one point kicking a cat. It felt like a McDonalds play-place over a cafe a bit. Of course some children (and their parents) are more respectful than others, however it feels like children under 13 should not be allowed to be in sessions all the time. Maybe certain hours for just adults versus hours for children as well?Cafes are meant to be a relaxing place, cat cafes no different. But when you are sitting around worried for the cats, and then also no cats will come near you because a running child scared them, it makes for a less fun event.I will still be coming back, as I know each session will provide different atmospheres! However, it may be a thing to consider after the behavior I saw. All the cats are so sweet and I think they deserve the correct type of love.

I took my grand daughter. We both LOVE cats so we really enjoyed playing, holding and petting the cats. Its very calming. I love that these people are doing a wonderful thing for the cats to be able to live cage free lives. They also have some cute cat stuff in the gift shop. If you are a cat lover or no someone that is this is the place to go.

Just visited and instantly fell in love with a tiny black kitten named Cocoa. She was really shy but allowed me to pick her up out of the RV. She has the most beautiful green eyes I have seen in a kitten. This was a unique experience I am grateful to have experienced. The prices were reasonable and the staff was so friendly. I will be telling all my friends about this wonderful place. Cats and coffee, genius.

Visiting this place is an amazing experience with the added benefit of helping area rescues find homes for abandoned cats. The owners & staff are lovely people, the events are fun, and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. I recommend this place to any and all area cat lovers who need a cup of coffee and an hour or so of kitty therapy.

Love, love, LOVE this place! As a cat lover I was so excited when the owners first announced the planned opening and it does not disappoint! Staff is friendly, prices are more than reasonable and knowing that the money spent here helps felines find loving forever homes is priceless. Even though I share my home with several cats already, I’m thrilled that I can get a kitty fix in on a regular basis.

I love that you can interact with the cats and watch them play. Most cats in the shelter do not get a chance to play and be around future pet parents this often and you have lots of visits to decide which one to adopt. My daughter was in paradise playing and laughing will all the kitties. I will be going back once a week!

This place is AWESOME! I would go here every day if I could! The staff is wonderful and friendly, the coffee is very tasty, and the cats are the cutest! They even have special events some Saturdays to add some extra fun. The staff is also great at helping you find the perfect cat to fit into your family if you’re looking to adopt- this is where we found our newest family member! They love each of the cats like their own and do an amazing job of finding them great homes! If you come to Murfreesboro you have to go to Catfeine!

The cafe is wonderful and the cats are heart stoppers. It would be a great place to gain a new four legged friend or to just relax. I love it and cant wait to go back.

My daughter and I were so excited to visit the kitties! We had a blast and the coffee wasnt bad either. A little pricey for merchandise as it is a small local shop. We felt glad to support such a wonderful place helping find homes for these sweet cats! The kitty room decor has some awesome Easter eggs for anime fans.😁 All in all, a really great place to relax and enjoy some furry company!

Not a true cafe by any stretch of the imagination. (Just a coffee machine and a few prepackaged sweets/pastries)That was a disappointment.I loved all the cats and kittens and the room they are in. Its bright, comfortable, clean and enjoyable with several toys and the like to interact with the cats. There is no liter box smell. The staff is very friendly and warm.

Drove 65 mile round trip to adopt 2 cats. Was told we would have to pay $10 each to spend an hour in their room. 3 adults=$30 to pet their cats??? No thank you. New Leash on Life in Lebanon will let you go in, stay for a while and when approved even do an overnight stay to make sure you and your kitties are compatible. False advertising in my opinion. Would never go back or recommend. The charge should be VERY VISIBLE on their about section. I may have missed it.

I have visited the cat cafe twice. Both times have been pleasant experiences. A good mix of kitten and adult cats, kittens tend to be more playful and the older cats are good for head scratching. We bought tshirts and checked out some of the other items that we may want to purchase in the future. Overall a great place to checkout, something a little different than your usual hangout place and a great place for cat lovers to find their next housemate!

Amazing place for cat lovers and very clean! The decor, coffee, and cute souvenirs are awesome. Most of all, the kitties are all happy and so cute! We had plenty of interaction with all of the babies and the staff was very friendly. This is a wonderful place for these lucky kitties to hang out while theyre waiting for their forever homes. I personally like the age restriction (no kids under 7) because it was a very relaxed environment.

Catfeine is the best thing to happen to Murfreesboro in years. The owners are as sweet as can be and really care about helping the kitties find their forever homes. Its amazing just how fast an hour goes by when youre spending it with some of the cutest cats! Also, a special shout out to Kat who always happens to be working when I come in! She knows everything there is to know about the current cats and has the best personality! This is definitely a place that everyone needs to visit!

I attended a trivia night at the cafe. I thoroughly enjoyed the event as well as playing with the sweet kittens & cats. I would highly recommended taking a trip to the cafe! It is a great stress reliever playing with cats and being around those who appreciate felines!
