At the last minute I decided to drive my car from Charlotte, NC to Dallas,TX. As I approached the LA state line my oil light came on and the closest dealership to me that was opening soon was Harper in Minden, LA . I was little skeptical at first because the place seemed closed for business but I’m so glad I gave them a try! The staff there was fast, efficient and extremely friendly! Everyone made me feel welcome and appreciated and valued as a customer! They even popped fresh popcorn for my son and niece! We even observed one of the employees practicing COVID-19 protocols by wiping down the tables and chairs in the waiting area! The bathroom was very clean and cutely decorated. The parts department is just as awesome as service and sales. I called and the parts guy was so knowledgeable of my vehicle! One of the best car buying experiences Ive ever been a part of. Rocky was my sales person. He was knowledgeable on the car I was test driving and gave me his honest answers. I didnt feel like I was being talked into my purchase. And Dennis in finance didnt try to talk us into tacking on a bunch of un-needed extras. It was bare bones, straight forward, just like we wanted it to be. They were very willing to work with us to get the best deal. No haggling on their end (maybe a little on mine). I bought a used Yukon Denali, and it had normal wear and tear, which they fixed free of charge (mirror and door handle replaced). Great car, in great shape. I will definitely buy from Harper motors again.

I never write reviews but after my experience at Harper I had to write one up. Now I cant speak for every sales person there but who I had was Mary and she treated me with more kindness than I could ask for but most importantly with professionalism. She is by far the best sales person I have ever worked with in my life and I highly recommend her because if you think you cant get your dream vehicle, guess again with her. She will get the job done. Oh and not to mention one of the GMs there big John who will work his tail off to get to where you want to be. 10/10 would recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone.

Worst experience Ive ever had dealing with a dealership, they lied about putting my son car on the computer after we had to have it towed back to there shop 3 times for the same problem, then the last time it was towed they said it was the fuel pump and they didnt even install it right nor did they attach the heat shields back on correctly, found a great experience mechanic now my son is able to drive his car after being in and out of harper motors for a month and 500 worth of towing for the reason it was first towed there for .My son was out of over a thousand dollars and still wasnt able to drive his car, we took his car to a mechanic and paidhalf of what they charged and he hasnt had 1 problem out of his car, sad but so true

Agreed on a deal Saturday. Salesperson agreed they would send the paperwork out Monday. After waiting on him all morning, get the numbers and they raised the price by almost a thousand dollars. Then he text back and says they can’t do the deal. What a way to lie to the customer.
