I was looking around to find somewhere toy purchase my first car and was super stressed about it. I came here and it was super easy since I already had a car picked out from their lot! The test drive, paper work, (even had a small issue with my loan(not CUAUTO related)), and quick tour of the car was maybe an hour and a half, two hours at the most! Even my mother, who has purchased several cars in her life, was even extremely impressed!I definitely recommend these guys for car purchases, especially first time buyers!!

Asked several times in plain language for the allegedly optional theft protection to be removed from my purchase contract. I was told it was required even though they make you sign an extra form saying you understand it is optional.It also took several weeks for my plates to arrive. I called to see what the holdup was, I was told that emissions testing wasnt done on the vehicle and had to bring it back.

This was one of THE very best experiences I’ve had buying a car. Unlike so many other dealerships that pass you from one person to another, I worked with Rob from start to finish. From the test drive to discussions about the price to signing the paperwork - it was all done with Rob! He answered all my questions thoroughly and was really helpful as I tried to weigh all the pros and cons of trading in my Mazda for the car I wanted. It was so refreshing not to be in a high pressure sales environment. I walked away feeling great about the purchase. Anyone looking for a car should start here, and the next time I am in the market for a car, I won’t be going anywhere else.

Gotta say, cool for the sale all was good. Bought a car and the guy said there was free maintenance for 70k miles. Well that was a lie. Guy who answered the phone was not very concerned about helping.

I tried to submit a very long, super detailed review of this place a couple months ago, but somehow lost it before it posted - Im not going to try and recreate that today, so what you should know in much shorter terms is this: If you are looking for a car, JUST START HERE. Dont waste your time and energy thinking you need to compare more options at more dealerships... YOU DONT and you will NOT find better vehicles at better prices ANYWHERE in the state. (Please take my word for it, I tried and I regret torturing myself.) I came in, in a horrible predicament with very limited funds and a very narrow and unyielding list of vehicles I was willing to consider - which can be a frustrating combination. Now I drive the truck of my dreams and love it more every day. This is a FAIR and HONEST dealership. I will never go anywhere else for my vehicle needs again. And since they also offer full vehicle maintenance, Ill never need to. I cannot thank Mike and Tanner enough and while its taken me months to post my review, I have not stopped singing their praises to anyone that will listen to me.

Dropped by to test drive a car but didnt receive any service. Literally stood at the front desk as the salesmen sat in the office. They looked our way multiple times but never addressed us or offered assistance. So we left. They get 2 stars because their prices seemed fair but I guess they lost a sale.

I had a minor oil leak happen 2 weeks after purchasing the car from them and they took care of it for free. Good honest people. They have your back for the long run.

Inventory looks nice but good luck getting the sales associate to look up from his desk and computer to help. Walked in to inquire about a vehicle and left with the impression that I was a burden for asking information about a vehicle on the lot. They may good a good rating from some “tv personalities” but this was definitely not my experience.

Just want to give a big shout out to Mike at CU Auto Sales. From the very beginning he was extremely friendly and helpful with a vehicle that I was interested in. When it came time to making a decision to purchase not once did Mike make me feel pressured into buying. After I did decide to purchase, Mike made sure the few concerns I had with the truck were resolved.A month or so after taking the truck home I did end up having an issue with the emissions system. I contacted Mike and he went above and beyond to assist me with getting the problem figured out. He spent many hours troubleshooting and researching what could be causing the problem. One on occasion he personally gave me a ride to my home from the dealership. Most people out there would not go above and beyond the way Mike did. His amazing service means a lot and is a reflection of his great character. We bought a used 2013 Ford Focus from CU auto last week. We were very pleased with their service. They were not pushy at all and allowed us to take our time. We wanted to have our mechanic take a look at the car before purchasing and CU auto was more than happy to have us do that. We took the keys the next day and the car checked out great. After our mechanic suggested that the window tint on the driver and passenger windows were too dark, CU auto offered to take the tint off free of charge. The sale was quick, easy and relaxing. Our little boy could happily play with the kids toys and watch a show while my husband and I took turns test driving. They even filled the gas tank up for us. It was a great, used-car sales experience and we would recommend their service to others.

I just bought a truck from CU Auto Sales and am very satisfied with how easy closing the deal was. John slowly explained every charge that was going to be added to the cars price (taxes, optional warranty’s) and after he explained each part to me, he would make sure I understood the charge before moving on.This really stood out to me, because I had been car shopping for a few weeks and every single one of the others dealers/salesmen would rush through all the paper work asking for my signature and not stopping to explain each of the charges; dealing with salesmen like that was exhausting and that’s why I never felt comfortable with going through or closing a deal with them.So far I am very pleased with my purchase and hope my truck continues to run great for a lot of miles. I bought a Lexus IS250 that I absolutely love! I had for one day when the check engine light came on. I drove it for about to week to see if it was just the gas cap or gasoline or something. I called Cu Auto sales back and explained the situation. They told me to bring it in and check it out. Turned out to be some oxygen sensors that needed to be replaced. It was done within a night and they did it no of charge. I would recommend buying a car from this company anytime. More than impressed.

I saw an SUV I was interested in and went in to test drive it. Rob was the one that helped me the whole time, and to call him a salesman would be incorrect! He didnt say a single pushy thing, he didnt rush me in any way, he was a completely down-to-earth calm person. I was introduced to CU Auto Sales some 20 years ago through my Credit Union, and have purchased all of my cars from them. They have a good selection of cars on the lot, and I love their relaxed no pressure approach.Just recently we decided to get a 3rd car (oldest kid just turned 16) and attempted to look at a couple of cars at other dealerships. I will never do that again! It took close to two hours at each place just to look at one car on the lot. It took a good 25 minutes at each place for them just to find a sales rep to help us and to get the key for a test drive, and it was always some new guy. One had only been there 6 months, one was there 3 weeks, one less than a year. They knew nothing about the car I was looking at, they knew even less about their main car brand. And as you might guess, if you have any specific questions (or not) they introduce you to their sales manager, and the high pressure sales pitches began. What a racket!With CU Auto Sales, Jody knew all about each of the cars we looked at and was patient as we looked at other model options. Jody was even able to find a couple of cars through his network that were 2 years younger, with less average miles, and $1,500 less then the other dealerships we shopped.Jody at CU Auto made the whole experience pleasurable. We decided on a car we liked in their current inventory, and Jody made the whole process enjoyable. In fact I asked if anyone was there and still nothing. Really weird to walk in a business and find no one to help me so I left. Dont think Im buying my next car from them. I bought an Audi A3 TDI wagon here last week. So far so good. Jody was kind enough to stay open late with us as we were traveling through from out of state. We had seen some junky cars and these guys obviously take care of theirs.

CU has done work on my older cars and I have never been disappointed with their quality of work. Today, I bought my first vehicle from them and my wife and I could not be happier. Ive had both a personal and professional relationship with CU Auto Sales for more than 10 years and there is no better place to buy, sell, or service a car. My family and I have purchased several cars from them over the years and they have always gone above and beyond to make sure we are happy. They have great prices and dont jerk you around like most car dealerships. I was looking for a Jeep Cherokee for my son and found a great one at a great price at CU Auto Sales. We worked with Jody who gave us a fair amount on our trade in and was very strait forward and honest with the whole deal.About two weeks later we noticed that the weather stripping did not go over the back doors. I called Jody and emailed photos of the issue to him. He was very patient and willing to work with us to get them replaced but then suggested that they may have slid down into the front fenders - which turned out to be the problem. A five minute fix for me.I appreciate Jodys after the sale customer service and his willingness to work with me. I would definitely recommend CU Auto Sales to a friend.

I live fairly close to this dealership. Last week I blew out a back tire and pulled into this dealership cause I was riding the rim. They came out and saved me. The hole was too big for a plug so instead of using my spare they gave me an old tire that was the same brand and sent me on my way free of charge. Way overpriced

We walked into this dealership ready to purchase a vehicle we had already picked out. But my husband asked how firm the salesman was on the price. He told us that if we walked away from it that the price was going to be raised because they already had it listed so low. Then when we were discussing an optional fee and told him wed like to purchase the vehicle without the optional charge he said that they didnt have to sell the car to us even though it wasnt required. this man gave up Commission because of an optional charge. Not smart! Dont haggle a customer that is seriously ready to drive off the lot and hand you cash.

Was a waste of timeWOW 9 months then a reply from the Owner.Where to begin. I was looking at a Toyota Avalon and did the credit report and was told my credit was too low but was informed to see what I may qualify for. We already have a loan with Ally and were approved by them for a 2nd loan. We informed CU of this and was told that youd look into it. A few days passed with no update. I called and spoke with the salesperson and was informed that the paperwork for Ally was too much for your firm to process. No other communication from CU.I took my business to LHM and was approved for a loan!

I like their friendly, no nonsense style of sales. Whenever one of my friends tells me that theyre looking for a car I always immediately pull up their web site to see if they have a car that fits their needs. As a result, several of my friends and family have purchased their cars from CU Auto Sales.Not only are they an honest dealership for purchasing a new vehicle but they are an honest service shop. Several of my friends, family, and I take our cars to them for maintenance, repairs, and annual State inspection and IM.

The ONLY place I buy my vehicles. They go above and beyond to take care of their customers. I cant say enough great things about CU Auto!!!

Mike Hansen the co partner of CU Auto Sales has a great sales technique. My wife and I went to purchase a boat that he had for sale for around $35,000. We came in and he was wonderful to show us the boat. He told us how great it was and that he had lots of people interested in it. We liked the boat and decided to purchase it without testing it out for ourselves, only taking his word for it. After counting on his words that the boat was ready for use, we decided to take it out for our family reunion at Jordanelle. After getting the boat out past the wakeless speed the boat started blowing smoke. Come to find out that he had not had it summerized as he told us. We could have lost the engine if we continued but we decided to pull the boat out. My wifes family was dissappointed that we werent able to enjoy the $35,000 purchase. Once I got it back, I took it to Marine Products and they needed to fix it. The cost to fix it was $216. Mike Hansen said he would pay for the repairs. After getting it repaired, I trusted that he would reimburse me for the payment that I made. He did not and I called him today and he hung up on me and he and his partner called me a prick! These folks arent very classy. Please give some good consideration on how you will be treated after you purchase anything from these people. They seem to jump on the defensive very quickly. I hope that Mike can understand that this is not the best way to handle a problem in a business.Good luck Mike Hansen!!!
