Was truly disappointed at their change in policy Will not service an Echo power unit that is deemed hand held unless purchased at their storeI had bought an Echo Blower Vacuum unit in Tennessee and moved to Milford about 7 years ago. the Engine House is literally 1 mile away from my house, since moving here I have bought a snow blower and a lawnmower, and parts and accessories for the Echo unit as well as had Snow Blower and Lawnmower both serviced at the Engine house,. for all these years.I bitterly complained to various people at the store and was told that the owner has to make the decision on any exceptions. I left my telephone number .To his credit he did call me but even though I explained that I not only bought the two larger devices from the engine house, but that I have been a customer of the County Store hardware, and Toyland, and the paint store which all three he all owns, (three stores are all within 200 feet of each other). and that it is a shame to treat a good customer this way. He just cited the change in policy, that small hand held equipment is not profitable to repair. I told him . I was disappointed closed the conversationI looked for an alternative, and someone suggested that Home Depot nor repairs power equipment. Hesitantly I decided to drive there (4 miles) and see what they could do.Well I was pleasantly surprised, the representative asked me what was wrong, I said it will not start, he then asked, if I had left Oil/gas mix in the tank over the winter, I timidly admitted that I did, (something you should not do, it gums up the carburetor). He then proceeded to give me some advice as how to correct the problem, ...... because a new unit would cost about $255, and that if he accepted the unit to be fixed the estimate for doing what he suggested I should do, would cost me about $165.I have not had time yet to try his suggestion, but it sounds that it will fix my problem.Lesson learned even the big box stores can have good service.

Third time I have been there since I moved to the neighborhood and all three times have been great experiences. Walked out with a snow blower the first time, second time they were super helpful finding me everything I needed to do a tune up on my whole home generator and now today I walked out with a leaf blower. Each time everyone has been extremely helpful, nice and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend stopping by. Scott was the last person I dealt with and he was very helpful.

Came in today to buy a new Ariens snow blower and was greeted by a very knowledgable staff. More than willing to take time to help so I bought where I can have my machine serviced.

I’ve gone in here a few times to get parts for different pieces of outdoor equipment, these guys are usually pretty helpful and knowledgeable. It’s great that it’s right in town and I don’t have to wait for shipping on parts they have in stock. Reasonable prices for parts as well, not price gouged like could be expected. They do sell some nice shiny new equipment as well so you can dream about future toys.

Amazing place and people. Bought a new snowblower. The day the first storm arrived I went to get it ready. Well it didn’t move. Brought it in on a Sunday. The service department was closed. The sales guy took a look and get it going again. Was an easy fix. Can’t say enough about the team here. Highly recommend buying from them. They stand behind what they sell.

I am on my second winter with an Ariens SHO snowblower that I bought from this shop. I did not even know there was an SHO model. In the past, I always had to move the same snow twice, especially if it was slushy. The store advised me to consider an SHO model as opposed to a wider machine. This was the best advise I could have asked for. I am extremely happy with the machine and the advise.
