Best gelato we have ever had. We have been to Amara dozens of times since it’s opening, it has become one of our favorite treats.Every flavor is special and tastes just as described. Waffle cones are amazing. Portions are very generous, and the service has always been friendly and fast.Top 5 flavors:1. Key lime2. Pistachio3. Dark chocolate4. Cappuccino5. Pumpkin pie spice (seasonal)Don’t walk, run! You won’t be disappointed.

We are guilty of sliding in right before they closed…we did check with the young lady in the front that it wasn’t too much of an imposition. We ordered as quickly as we could!They were so nice though! They offered us samples and didn’t make us feel any more guilty. >_

The most delicious pistachio ice cream I ever had! Does not have the nasty artificial flavor.They also have an Ice cream and with a shot of espresso!! First time trying it and very pleased!Their Nutella crepe was PERFECT!

We have lived in multiple different big city’s across the US and would come here in heart beat! The lady that helped us was super nice and super personable. This place is amazing! I’ve been here three times in the last two days, the cappuccino flavor is my favorite. The cookies and cream is fantastic too. They also use post consumer recycled bowls and compostable plates and cutlery. Awesome deserts with a side of eco awareness will make this place the perfect sweet spot for everybody. 😃

I am so happy to have discovered this place in Midland. How have I never tasted gelato before?I got the Salted Caramel, Cookies and Cream, and my favorite, the Pumpkin Pie Spice. I believe the pumpkin gelato is seasonal, so I HAD to try it before Fall is over or the flavor runs out.I really loved the Cookies and Cream and the Pumpkin Pie. The salted caramel was still a good flavor but I would try the Cappuccino next time.I did sample the Blueberry Cheesecake and it wasnt for me - it was SICKLY SWEET and went down my throat in an overly-sugar-sweet way. I also sampled the Chocolate - I think this was the fancy Belgian type for me, so it was a tad too bitter. I didnt like it.I also got mine in the Homemade Waffle Cone which - to my absolute surprise - was completely fresh! It wasnt sealed or hardened like all the other cones Ive had in my life. Oh, this was the real deal.Overall, I loved my first visit to this place. And I hope to return from time to time. It was wonderful.Why the one star off? No one was wearing a mask and we are still, knee-deep, in the midst of a COVID pandemic. Its not over and vaccinations dont prevent illness or contagion. Even the employees were not wearing masks. I know its not required but it would make some customers feel more welcome. Still good gelato though 👍

Great Gelato & *Espresso*Amaras a great addition to Midland. Friendly and attentive staff. Dense, smooth gelato with delicious flavors. The tastes and textures suggest to me a pretty natural product with simple, quality ingredients. I love that they do crepes, too.A major draw for me is that they do the best and most consistent espresso pulls Ive found in Midland by a good stretch. They use Illy beans.Its worth going just for espresso, but good luck sticking to that.Definitely a place that needs to stay around.

Still kind of new to Midland and I am so happy I finally found a place for some amazing gelato. I honestly think this is the best place to get it if that’s what you are craving.The gelato is amazing, the crepes are delicious, and the staff is wonderful. The girls working there were so friendly and greeted me with smiles. Great customer service is what I always look for (besides great food obviously lol) I’ll make sure to recommend this place to everyone I know.

Broke the streak and didnt get pistachio today. Best choice :) the key lime pie was exactly what I needed! And the mint/lime sorbet was perfection!!! Great fast service too. If youre in Midland and want ice cream, go to Amara!!!!

Amazing! We just stumbled upon this gelato shop. This is a treasure for Midland. Quality is incredible and there are 4 vegan/dairy free options. The taste is phenomenal. I cant believe we have such a upscale place here. Yay!

Good flavors and not overly sweet

Cute, lil gelato place. I had a mix of blueberry cheesecake and cookies & cream. Chunks of both cheesecake and Oreo are a high that I cannot describe. I honestly would have finished my large cup sooner, but the size of my spoon prevented that.

Hands down the best gelato in Midland. This place.. amazing, even the americano was great. Service was friendly and quick. Nice place for after dinner or to curb that gelato craving! I had the blueberry cheesecake, Pistachio, and key lime! All were very good!

I would love to see a non sorbet, lactose free option added to the menu, but my faves for now are half and half of the minty lime and forest sorbet. Can’t wait to try the Nutella crepe!

Amara Gelato offers the most delicious and creamy gelato you will ever try. I have not missed a single week of gelato since their big opening, and I plan to continue doing so :) I also love their coffee and gelato shakes (try the vanilla one - its a piece of heaven). LOVE this place!

Have lived in midland for a year now and I was missing out on this place the whole time. Their waffle cones are amazing and the gelato is even better. the blueberry cheesecake was my favorite. Staff was friendly and let my bf and I try multiple flavors.

I would have given them 5 stars if they would have served my crepe with fruit on top like the first time I went . My second time they didnt put fruit on top even after I asked the girl, she wasnt accommodating to me for the sake of customer satisfaction. Really fresh and excellent gellato. Amazing we have this quality in Midland! To the Owners - please be dillegent in keeping the store and outside tables clean. Its so critical with a place that sells sugary creamy treats. Nothing worse than a sticky table or your shoes sticking to the floor.

Best ice cream (gelato) spot in Midland! Try the blueberry cheesecake and pistachio. We love taking our kids here. They even have a small sink for hand washing which comes in handy when the kids’ hands inevitably end up sticky after inhaling their gelato.
