Scott was awesome while waiting for an oil change and when it was done he showed me the new digital inspection of the car. Awesomeness with pictures of what’s wrong so you can see it and just not try to visualize. The inspection showed how dirty certain fluids were in my car vs what it should look like. That digital inspection addition is just a giant step in what makes them so awesome. Great place and very knowledgeable. I found my new go to car service center

Kevin was very professional and did not push having any other services done. He told me what I should think about having done and the order of doing this maintenance by priority. The engine light was on and it indicated the vapor system. Kevin felt it was the gas cap, turned the light off, but told me if the light comes on again then he would have to look into further. Great service!

I had my Mazda 3 serviced on Saturday July 17 2021. The counter person Pat was professional and friendly all the time. He told me how long it will be estimated, how much it will cost. I added other services that was not in for. Pat explained they can do it. The mechanic name was Casey.I waited in the waiting room, and Pat along with text message how and where on the service was. This place is the best and I will continue to bring my car there. And will recommend Merrimack Meineke to everyone. This the place to bring your car for service. A definite 5 star auto service place

Outstanding service. My family and I were on vacation from Virginia. On the way up our vehicle started misfiring. It was a Friday when the problems start and we were leaving on Monday. The team at the shop got me in, diagnosed the issues, along woth some other issues that may have impacted my trip home, and had it all fixed and ready to go before I had to leave. They were very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. They understanding of my situation and willingness to help, far surpassed expectations. If I lived here, I would definitely make this my go to shop.

I have a 1993 Lincoln Town Car. Had a transmission issue and they got me all fixed up much quicker than expected, only a couple days. I hear this shop is run by a small family; the person I had the pleasure with interacting with the most was Kevin - he was very helpful and understanding when I was rather stressed, having just moved to NH, and he really streamlined the whole process!

Pat and Kevin were so awesome when it came to calling me and keeping informed of the process.

I called in the morning and was able to get in the same day to get my check engine light diagnosed. I’ve had many bad experiences with the place I usually use so I was very pleasantly surprised at how easy they made the process for me at meineke. Communication was great and they were able to get everything fixed for me same day. Absolutely will be returning!

I have used meineke in other states and have never had any issues. I came here with my Jeep Wrangler for an alignment and oil change. They performed other diagnostic tests as a courtesy so when they called to see if I wanted any of the 3 issues they found fixed, I said I was primarily concerned with getting the alignment and oil change done today and would worry about the other things in a few weeks. They said okay and said the car was ready to be picked up. They did not do the alignment and never bothered to explain why until I called to tell them they never relatched my hood so when I started driving on the highway it flew open. Luckily I was able to pull off and get everything squared away without anyone getting injured but the negligence of the employees could have caused serious injuries to not only me, but others on the highway. The person who answered the phone did end up explaining why the alignment wasn’t done and apologized for the negligence but I won’t be returning to this shop. Completely unacceptable

They try to manipulate you. The guy was overtop on the things that needed to be worked on. This is because it was an old car.Even said I needed an oil change when I got one the same day at a different place. Stereotypical corporate car place.

I Had an appointment to Get an oil change, tire rotation and state inspection done. The two men at the front counter (forgot names, I apologize), were very nice and funny! It took about 40 minutes for my car to be all done and the job was done at a decent price. Very good experience at this location and will be returning with any other issues/maintenance!

We have been going here for years for work and state inspections. They are fair and very knowledgable. They told my mom about how another shop ruined a part on my moms car. They are trustworthy. Will continue to go here for inspections every year. Thanks, guys.

Went in for a state inspection. They claimed all four of my tires had a leak on the rim and requested I get them all remounted for $125. I went to two different shops and both confirmed my tires were not leaking. They try to fish for tire service !! Do not go here.Owner followed up with review, and provided excellent customer service. Seems like diagnosis was a mistake, i will be going back here for my next visit.

They did a full synthetic oil change and a tire rotation checked fluids and filters. Then accepted my $59, Meineke website coupon for all of it. The Honda dealership would have charged $30 more. I will go to Meineke again next time.

I recently had my transmission oil changed on my 09 bmw at another shop. I took it to this particular Meineke shop because the transmission wasnt shifting properly after the other guys changed my fluid. The owner of this Meineke specializes in European cars and point out that they never reset the computer, to tell the transmission it has new fluid. He explained that the computer thinks it has the old oil and will shift accordingly. He rest it and made sure the oil was properly filled. The car now shifts very smoothly thank you very much. I would definitely go back, he is a very knowledgeable and honest mechanic.

I’ve taken 2 different cars there for service over the last couple years, and I can’t say anything bad about the quality of their work or the prices they charge. Scott is very knowledgeable on Audi cars, and I trust him with my S7.Update: under new ownership, and my first experience was bad. Took it in for a state inspection and was told it would be a hour(which is about 45 mins longer than it should take) After an hour I went in to check on my car, and the guy at the desk seemed confused and thought I had already picked up my car. Turns out it hadn’t even been looked at yet. I told him to give me my keys, and I left. I will never go back.

These guys rock! Second year Ive brought my car here for inspection and Ill never take it anywhere else. Not only did they do the work that they specified but they went above and beyond. I had a valve cover that was missing some bolts and they fixed it for no charge. Their attention to detail is superb and I would recommend them to anyone needs any work done on their car!

Nice, and friendly people to work with but do not bring your car here for an inspection unless you know it will pass. They will notice an obvious failure prior to beginning your inspection and instead of just letting you know that your car will fail they will waste an hour of your time and charge you full price all the while flagging your car as a failure so when you take it to another shop they will see your car has failed previously before they make their own judgement. There are too many other reputable repair facilities in the area to have your time wasted by these guys.

Im going to have to meet this place somewhere in the middle when it comes to a rating. Ive tried three different shops in the Nashua/Merrimack area after relocating to NH last year and gave this place a try a few times. The first time was fine; I had asked my boyfriend to take my car in for tire alignment because my car was shaking between 55 & 65 MPH, but he was told it was an engine mount issue. They replaced this and while this fixed the shaking steering wheel, it didnt fix the rumbling. I eventually took my car to a different place and it was confirmed that I did need a balance and an alignment and new tires from wear caused by not having the balance done earlier. Slightly frustrating...but by that point it wasnt something I could fault Meineke for. They also didnt charge a diagnostic fee for this repair, and Im not sure if it was because my boyfriend brought it in or what, but I assumed that the $100 diagnostic fee I had read reviews about was not something that they actually did.A few months later I dropped her off to have her windshield wiper mechanism replaced. I knew exactly what was wrong and what needed to be fixed when I dropped her off and wrote on the slip needs new windshield wiper mechanism. I get a phone call the next day confirming that yes, I need a new windshield wiper mechanism. Ok, great. Its done that day, perfect, Im happy with the fast service. I pay over the phone because I work in Boston and couldnt get pick it until that night. The price seemed a bit steep but I knew this repair would be time consuming, thats why I put it in shop opposed to fixing it myself, so I figured it was mostly labor costs. The windshield wipers worked great and I was very pleased until I started to read the receipt and saw that I was slapped with the $100 diagnostic fee. Really?Dont get me wrong. I can understand why a diagnostic fee would be charged to someone if they didnt have a repair made at the shop that told them what was wrong with their vehicle. They can only assume that the person is taking it elsewhere or going to fix it themselves, so they will lose money even though they spent time trying to figure it out. However, I feel like if you have a repair made at a shop that diagnosed the issue and you spend good money, you shouldnt have to pay $100 on top if the labor and material cost. Plenty of places dont charge a fee at all to diagnose a car issue, regardless of whether or not you end up getting it fixed there. On top of that, I KNEW what was wrong with it and wrote the exact same thing on the slip I put in the drop box with my keys as what was written on the receipt.So I am not sure what to say. I was happy with the quality of work, the people seemed nice and had good customer service, but the $100 fee is enough of a reason for me to avoid this place in the future. Maybe its time to rethink this practice, Meineke...while you may get $100 guaranteed, you lost me as a customer and I ended up getting an entirely new exhaust system put in at a different place, something I would have had your business do if it wasnt for the diagnostic fee.

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. This shop hires kids with no education on auto tech at all. I have put my own personal vehicle through here along with other family members. Below are three situations that happened at this shop that were within a 6 month period of each other... we will be switching mechanics. These are chronological and also listed from least inconvenient to quite literally life threatening mistakes.They tried to install a lift kit into my truck and it took them a week and a half to do this job. I was originally told it would take 48 hours. They kept saying they couldn’t align the steering and it took them 2 days to do an alignment. I took time off from work to go sit in the shop and watch them do the alignment and they clearly had a broken machine or the mechanic didn’t know what he was doing. When I got the vehicle back. The alignment was still messed up. They tried to charge me for the whole time my truck was in the shop and after a while of explaining that I wasn’t going to pay for their mess up, they finally deducted pay and made it sound like they were doing me a favor.Secondly, shortly after getting my truck back, my power steering went. I knew what the problem was going into the shop. I told them what was wrong and they tried to charge me a $100 diagnosis fee even though I told them what needed to be replaced. After arguing, they said they wouldn’t charge me The fee and again, made it sound like it was a favor. They replaced the rack fairly quick and all went well for about a week. Then the steering went again. They replaced 3 power steering racks in a month before telling me they believed it was my fault for putting the lift kit on my truck. I called the company who made the lift (rough country) and one of their reps gave me his personal number and name and told me to give it to the mechanic because he clearly didn’t know what he was talking about. After the mechanic spoke to the rep at rough country, he took the blame and said it was his fault because the company he purchased the power steering rack from was a shop in Mexico with poor reviews. This is unacceptable and not something I want to hear from an auto shop.Lastly, the worst by far... My parents had brought their Chevy Silverado in go get inspection. They said the tie rod needed to be replaced due to it failing inspection. They replaced the tie rod but never tightened the bolts down. As my Mom was driving her truck, the tie rod popped out and sent her off the roadway almost into trees and then swerved back almost into on coming traffic. This was something that could’ve ended in serious bodily harm or death. This shop is not reliable and could leave you in a very bad situation like this. Do not bring your vehicles here unless you want parts that will fail and your car breaking down.

This is a really great shop run by a small family! They always make sure to look over everything to make sure your car is in the best shape possible! Ive never had a problem with the service done to my car!

I have brought my vehicle here numerous times as well as my finances. The first time the alternator went on our old vehicle and it was fixed and we had it back in no time. The service was great and they were the cheapest price we find around. They contacted us every step of the way and let us know what all the prices would be before fixing the problems. We have had oil changes, new tires, breaks and routers, tire rotations and front end alignments. We have been going here for over 4 years and have had acceltioal service each time. The owners husband and wife have been amazing and very helpful, they are always very welcoming and make you feel like part of the family great work done we will keep going here for years to come.

Very bad and rude customer service. Bunch of thieves, you ask them to do a regular conventional oil change with a $19.95 culpom but the manager/owner instead do synthetic oil and the final bill goes up to $42....they will never see me there again. Go to another Mineke store if you dont want to get upset about a bad service.

I went in for an oil change and they said my air filter needed to be replaced, but my engine fiter was fine. I refused the service. I went in a month later and they said my air filter was fine but my engine filter needed to be replaced. I told them I needed a patch on my exaust and they said they couldnt do it and replaced the whole thing, I should have said no and got a second opinion. I just felt like they were trying to get as much money out of me as possible. I drive an hour away to my moms house for my old reliable mechanic now.

It didnt take much time to win my confidence after talking with Scott onthe issues that I had with my vehicle. Two hours after it had been towedto their garage I get a call with an introduction and his diagnosis alongwith the cost. I had to make a visit to check it out and also place faceswith names. I was impressed by his timely performance and the vastknowledge on the vehicle as we chatted to what I needed done. Scott gave me a timeframe and my cost, stating that it should be ready thefollowing week. The following Monday after the 4th of July, I get a callfrom Scott saying that my car was ready to go. I now have a garagethat I am confident and happy with. Without question I THANK YOUScott and Heidi.

Scott took a job that no one else would and he did it on budget and on schedule! Scott took the time to explain and even showed me the parts that failed. Exhaust manifolds are not cheap, but he took care of my truck and me! Nice work!To those who gave this shop a poor rating b/c your POS car didn’t pass inspection... you should take responsibility for your own. It’s not the mechanic’s fault your car will not pass inspection.

Best experience with Meineke! I have had the worst experiences with gargages till I found this meineke family owed by husband and wife. So welcome and trustworthy. I had my oil changed done by them always rotate my tires and top off my fluids. Best prices. Always give you the best decision when it comes to digonasing your vehicle . I have been going here for a year and can say I suggest anyone to go here absolute best. Mechanics are professional and have been working on cars for years. Thats any type of cars. These people are DIRTBAGS!!!! COMPLETE SCUM! They overcharge and do not even tell you the charges until AFTER they do the service. $100 diagnostic fee!?!? RIDICULOUS! To make it worse, when you dispute the charge on the phone and they openly say you did not sign anything but an authorization, they then take that authorization and PRINT OVER IT so it looks like you signed knowingly to a charge. Unfortunately they are not too bright and when they print over it they dont realize the authorization is a template so it doubles over and creates TWO TIME STAMPS!!!!! I offered to pay them $50.00 for their services and only after a 25 minute argument and me calling the police did they finally ok the charge. I understand people dont work for free and dont expect people to. However, if I was made aware of the charge before hand I never would have brought my car there in the first place.

BEWARE OF Merrimack Meineke or Birch Tree Auto. My huaband and I picked up the van yesterday and less than 2 miles down the road, no more than 5 min after getting in the vehicle everything went wrong. I told Michael we need to go to the gas station because of everything glitching out I didnt know how much was in it. Filled the tank and the van shut off when I went to leave. Tried to start it and suddenly the windshield wipers and lights started turning on and off on their own. Fine, maybe a battery thing... I sensed something was terribly off so I looked under the car and the gas literally was spilling out the tank onto the ground. Husband was going to jump the battery until I luckily noticed this. I almost accidentally became a suicidal terrorist ! So many things running through my head. We will know for certain after the weekend but we believe this shop sabotaged our vehicle and allowed a 7 month pregnant woman drive off in it because the guy was pissed that we reported his business to BBB. He was illegally going to auction off this vehicle saying we owed thousands on it for storage fees and charged us for guaranteed work from when his shop replaced the muffler, which was put on wrong and broke less than a week later. John Scott Wallace made blackmailed my husband into signing a release claiming he was happy with his work and would take down the complaint from BBB or else he would continue to illegally action off our vehicle. Also the same mechanic to do work on my truck without providing proof of the part he claims was broken, rewired things, ect.. I have receipts from Ford stating all repairs were done incorrectly and we had paid to get them fixed. 3000+ spent on my truck for it to run exactly the way it had before bringing it into his shop. Also, have proof he fried my ECM. The entire time the only problem with my truck from the start was it needed a new turbo actuator. We will NEVER bring our vehicles to a mechanic ever again unless its my cousin of course. This business is going to be facing some serious legal consequences. Be careful who you bring your vehicle to. This is only proof of tampering with the van.

Worst place ever. Owner is a lier a thief rips customers off with out them knowing. He uses another company name to rip off the meineke name and double pockets money. I would not suggest anyone to take work to them. They will tell you things you need that you dont. Ask old employees read glass for or other review sites.

I made an appointment from their website for an oil change and when I got there I was asked how I made the appointment by the cashier, I replied online. A moment or two later, he asked to see my email confirmation. Apparently, they never got the info for my appointment. A minute later the owner began insulting me because I used the website to make the appointment. He actually told me you have to consider the website redirects to another and then it goes to yet another company, blah blah blah. And even went on to ask me where I lived and how long and why would I be using them for an oil change and ended by telling me I should use the same garage for all my vehicle needs. I have been to many a garage in my 30+ years as a licensed driver and I have never been treated like that. And needless to say, I will not be returning there ever again and will happily share my less than favorable experience.

Scott at Meineke has come through for us many times. The most recent fixing an issue with the Oxygen sensor. We had the 0xygen sensor light coming on and couldnt get it expected. We brought it to the dealer hoping they could fix it (AutoFair Manchester) and they turned us away saying it needed welding to be fixed (after $130.00) charge. We brought it to Meineke and Scott took a look at it and found a leaking gasket that in some cases could cause the 0xygen sensor light to come on. He fixed it, a week later the light is still off and it passed an inspection.-Bob & Julie Downie
