I absolutely loved the Christmas selection this year! I caught myself saying Thats awesome several times in this department alone! The quality of the Home items have greatly improved, as well as the huge selection, making it very difficult to choose just one!Overall I give this store a big fat thumbs up!

Well when you are talking about keeping safe it was unbelievable. I was in big lot and the cashier with the dread long hair was biting her nails did not sanitize her hands took my money and had to give me back change which she did imagine if she s got the COVID then passed it on to me cause her saliva on the coins. Management need to speak with her..

Purchased a sectional and a recliner amongst others things and had someone pickup my furniture but the store forgot to give them my recliner after confirming that the person was suppose to be picking up everything. After speaking to the manager they did schedule to have the recliner delivered for free but when I got the recliner it was not the color that I ordered. I ordered a chocolate brown recliner and got a gray looking recliner when I contacted the manager once again she insisted that the recliner is chocolate but it wasn’t so I’m returning it. The only good service I had here was from the employee that helped me pick out the items.

Clean, well lit parking. Helpful staff who’s also polite and talkative. No one was rude or ignored us. Everyone asked if we needed help. Store was clean. Pillows out of stock so we purchased more expensive ones instead. Didn’t like them so I gave them away. Low stock available on the tv stands and other furniture. I had to ask for them to find at another store. Got what I wanted in the end. Now the furniture itself was poor quality, difficult to put together, not aligned, don’t think it will last especially if it needs to be moved but it’s temporary piece for us so it’s ok for now. They gave us a discount for the scratches since the box was dented & open on the corner.

I ordered some corner shelves on line. Picked them up the next day. And did some shopping. The store was very clean. The staff was friendly & helpful. I saw some things I mite get later on for my apartment. Great job

It has been awhile since I spent 2 hours in a store. I did today at Big Lots. Every isle had so many different and cool things. I still did not get to the furniture and bedding area. The employees were sweet and funny. Without a doubt I will be back.

As we go to the bigger stores we tend to forget the stores that are all about the little guy a Big Lots. They got me in and out when I need a new towels and everything along with a new mob when my hot water heater was out.

The store closest to me is the Cocoa store. Thar poor store is kinda junky and the entire area including the old parking lot shows its age and is rough.Therefore, I drive to the Melbourne Big Lots.The Melbourne Big Lots had everything I ordered online. The inventory was neatly stocked.The staff was very nice and the store was clean! I recommend shopping at the Melbourne Big Lots.

You can find most basic household items at Big Lots such as sheets, kitchen utensils, some food, furniture and more. The prices are on par with other local department stores. I searched stores everywhere locally for outdoor folding chairs that were comfortable and found what I wanted at Big Lots. They had two different colors to choose from, they also had additional cushions that were colorful that would fit in the chairs that make the chair even more comfy.

Didnt have what I was looking for an I guess they wont be getting it anymore cause no tag to reorder😢

Extremely disappointed. No handicapped bathroom stalls in the womens bathroom. Asked an employee and she pointed me to a one stall marked mens room. Which I didnt have a problem with, except the toilet wad low. Very hard to pull myself up using the bar. And there was a bunch of spots where floor tiles had broken off. My first time there. My last time.

I guess they are changing the lay out of the store, which it needed. But it didnt seem to have the same items as it used to. Hardly any kids toys at all in comparison to a year ago or so.

I love the Big Lots store here in Melbourne on Babcock St... Over the weekend i bought a lighted snowman for $55... Its cute but i wasnt thrilled about the quality of materials it was made of.. The display in the store looked so well put together.. So we put it together.. Its looks nice lit up at nighttime.. I bought other displays 2 years and the quality has always been good.. Oh well...

Heath the manager was extremely helpful and took his time to satisfy me. He is very patient helpful and an understanding man. My problem was that I needed to return something I had originally paid with a check and of course being an elderly person that I am lost my receipt and my check all I had was a copy of the check and he was able to locate my original receipt their cash register at Big Lots and gave me my refunds restore everyone is so helpful friendly and they bend over backwards to help you I will tell all my friends to definitely participate in this store so nice and helpful till the elderly I appreciate Heath at all the help that he gave to me. I havent been in forever! Love the new look inside!

I was hoping that at Christmas time they would have more cashiers open of course everybody had their carts full of items so it was taking a long time to get through the lines to cash out so definitely you needed some patients.. and forget trying to find somebody to help you in an aisle to reach something that you cant.. so you go to the cashier and ask if she can call somebody to come and help you and then you just wait and wait and wait... again you really need some patients... especially at Christmas time

They have material masks up at their registers for $3 EACH!!! And i got a nice ottoman for $35. So Im happy i went there...

Excellent staff at this store! I am always greeted with a hello and friendly conversation at check out. They just dont ring you out & put your items in a bag. Also, if there is a line they happily open up another registar. I love Big Lots diverse merchandise and their rewards program. Great job to Management & Staff!

Lots more to choose from than the Cocoa, FL store. Called to verify item (furniture) was in stock in Melbourne, and it was actually there. Cocoa online inventory is NOT correct. Twice Ive bought online to pickup in-store only to show up (30min drive) to be told they didnt have. Melbourne store is only Big Lots Ill shop at from now on.

I always find the best hidden gems here! Recently I found all kind of garments Loft branded and cleaned the shelves!

False advertising. They had shelves of hand sanitizer which they were advertising as a Stay safe from COVID-19 kind of thing. I bought some. When I got home, I saw that it was alcohol-free hand sanitizer, which does nothing against viruses. It is possible that Big Lots could be held criminally liable for helping spread COVID-19 based on their deceptive practices.

Looking for The Works rust remover... When big lots was in Palm Bay they sold that... Now in Melbourne they dont... Guess I will have to go on line........and Melbourne has lots of space for more items... Wasnt impressed... Palm Bay didnt have alot of extra space and had so much more.

All Christmas merchandise on sale. Ended up happy Walgreens wasnt open yet. Im stocked up on wrapping paper, tape, decorations, ribbons, bows, etc. for life! I mean legitimately for a decade at least, and all for record low costs. A$12 giant red bow at Sears was only $3 here and then HALF OFF on top of it. Stock up on all this stuff now while its all 25%-90% off for next year folks.

I hadnt shopped at Big Lots in years and was so surprised at the amazing selection of grocery items. Food is so expensive in this area so its helpful when you can find the pantry items that we all need for less. Also, tons of toiletries that are very reasonably priced as well.

There is a flaw in your system, in my opinion. Your store just lost a sale of $1000.00 due to your policy of not allowing a purchase over the phone for items on sale. We went to the Cocoa store a were interested in purchasing 2 recliners that were on sale and had planned on returning in a few weeks to purchase the Love Seat or couch. The Cocoa store only had 1 chair so we had them check the Melbourne store and found that they had 4 of the chairs and said we could reserve two of the chairs at the sale price if we put a down payment on them, however, they said we had to put the down payment in person with cash only. Well that is approximately twenty mile drive each way from where we live. We then decided to just purchase the two chair with the credit card and pick them up on my day off. The clerk stated that we could not do the transaction over the phone with a credit card, that with the sale items we had to purchase them in person. I asked to speak to a manager and a person got on the phone who may have been the same associate and said he was the manager of the furniture department. We have all been in Big Lots and there does not appear to be individual departments in any of the stores I have been in so I dont know about that one. Anyway, the Furniture Manager stated the same as the first person. I do not understand why I can purchase other items over the phone but not sale items? I did try to give the deposit and/or purchase to the Cocoa store but was told that the stores do not accept business for other stores and are not related that way,I understand that but if I were in the business of making money via retail, I would have to take a hard look at these policies. I have to say that i am not a regular customer of Big Lots but now I may never be again, time will tell I guess.
