These guys are true blue local businessmen. Whether you know what youre doing or not, theyll always be honest and fair with you, and if youre in need of something they dont have, they arent afraid to help you get it. One of the last old school hardware stores on the South Shore and Im proud to give them my business.

Great alternative to the big, box stores

Good luck getting rough sawn lumber here they only run the mill on Saturdays if the one person that runs the mill works that Saturday and you ordered weeks in advance you might be able to get rough sawn lumber .Google rough sawn or call the old saw mill.down the road they will give you number of local guy in hanover that will run anything you want in a couple of day at the most .

I rented an excavator which showed up at the site right on time. I wish I remembered the name of the man that delivered the machine. He stayed to make sure that there were no questions and was so helpful and knowledgeable.

You will find many excellent products here, some nearly impossible to find elsewhere. They nearly always beat the big box store prices, and customer service far exceeds theirs. Quick checkout. They also have equipment rental.

I would not shop here unless you are desperate. Serious price gouging going on here. Inventory lacking. Staff not usually very friendly and seem unhappy to have to deal with customers.

I scheduled a 45ft lift to be delivered to a jobsite. I paid the $400 charge. I was told by a Taylor rentals employee the the lift would be dropped off at the jobsite at 4:30pm Saturday and puked up Monday morning. I hired two OSHA certified lift operators. $60/hr wages for the two. Showed up to the jobsite Sunday morning... NO LIFT. Cost me $300 in wages for nothing. NO apology, no discounted rate, nothing, only we can deliver it next Saturday . Apparently there is no accountability for screwing the customer. Beware the could cost you!!!
