My most recent visit did not meet my expectations; at all. Im a loyal customer and have spent thousands on tools and equipment in the past 3 years. Im a small business owner. Two weeks ago I returned a flat surface cleaner for what I presumed were warranty repairs. The piece of equipment, which I paid full price for, was less than 9 months purchased. When I left the equipment with the representative, I provided a copy of the purchase receipt, showing the date of purchase with the clear expectations that the repair would be filed under the warranty.Todays bill was $273! Another $100 I could have purchased a brand new item. This was both unexpected and unbelievable. Moving forward I expect upfront details on repairs.

Northern Tool was spectacular... The facility was clean, including the bathrooms... The selection was unbelievable. And the display complimented the selection. The staff were great for the simple fact that they left you alone to shop and didnt follow me around or bother me by trying to be over-helpful but their presence was still there if I needed assistance..... Thats how it ought to be. (My opinion.)

I purchased an air compressor for my business. I was told it would take 10 -14 business days to receive it, at the store. Unfortunately that comitment was not met.I did not have a good experience dealing with corporate customer service. That said I had an exceptional experience with the store manager, Bonnie,in Marietta. She did her absolute best to ensure I left feeling good about my overall experience.She went above & beyond to ensure it was properly loaded on my truck. She even took the time to tie it down properly.Alex, the knowledgeable technician, was tremendously helpful & insured my equipment was properly put together & ready to use.Thank you Bonnie & Alex. You both truly understand the term customer service.I hope Northern Tool does a better job valuing great employees like Bonnie & Alex!!

I went to the service department to get a carburetor, hose filter, and gas tank for my pressure washer. Alex and Ty have been very knowledgeable and had every answer to any question I had. I look forward to keep my business here cause they keep my business going

Customer service was awesome! My car broke down in their parking lot. I had to go into the store to buy jumper cables, which only cost $8. Thats right, theyre cheap too! I would recommend this store if youre looking for tools at a fraction of the price that theyre sold anywhere else.

I have shopped at the Marietta store several times. Ive always had a good experience there. I find what Im looking for and usually more. I always gotten good help at the store and thats a big plus compared to some other similar stores.

They are great eventhough they only had one tire. I was smart and bought 2 other tires plus the one on the rim. My fault that I didnt get there sooner. At least they were all on sale!

I am going on 10 years with Northern Tool. I just want to say, There were many ups and downs as there are in ALL jobs. BUT..... Northern DOES recognize their employees and you CAN move up even when your a woman trying to make it in a mans store. I started out as a cashier and being Sr. Assistant Manager and manager of the show room I am now working on moving up even further to getting my own store. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my job and even though it has been hard work at times it DOES pay off. The corporate team are top notch and so down to earth. I am in Marietta and I am also looking to expand my sales team to be even greater then we are. Benefits are awesome and so are the perks. Prices are good an free shipping a great plus. I have not received my items so I cant grade on that. The website was a bit on the slow side at check out. It was lagging. A little patience goes a long way and the sale went through.

As expected Decent tools @ a reasonable price. They got tools you never new you needed before you visited their store. Clean, well organized, great lighting. However the staff member I spoke with wasnt very knowledgeable to the location of most any tool in particular. Typical response was if we got it its probably in the automotive (or whatever) department. Where it sounded like it could be found IF we got one! or even sell what your talking about. BUT THE STORE IS NICE OVERALL! 🤠

Want to personally thank Bonnie at Nothern Tool in Marietta Ga. I ordered a generator Online in Mid May, Nothern Tool did not have it in their distribution center on the east coast so they had it shipped from Texas on June 9.It arrived at the distribution center on June 12. I contacted Bonnie at Northern tool in Marietta Ga and told her I had to have the generator for a upcoming trip on June 27. The team at Northern tool went into action .Specifically Bonnie tried to get the generator on the regular shipment, however could not, so therefore Bonnie had the generator expressed shipped and I was able to pick it up on on June 25 to make My trip a success.Bonnie is such a dedicated and loyal employee and her customer service encourages me to continue to make purchases from Nothern TSool

I have enjoyed everything about Nothern Tool online and in the store for years. Since we been home they have still showed that they are always they to help.

I saw 8 employees not one greeted me but the cashier that obviously need more training and shouldnt have been left with out support. Which of who could work the register properly. When she tried to call for help management didnt respond. The other employees was getting ready for some big wig visit or shootinh the sh!+ Showing off their new northern tool shirt rather than paying attention to what happing with customers and the registers. I was second person in line took over 30 min to get checked out. If what I was buying could have been found else where I would have set my intented purchase down and left.

Because of the covid-19 pandemic, the storage facility I use doesnt carts for customers to use. I needed an inexpensive hand truck to station there. Northern carries a good basic one that was on sale for $30. Perfect for my needs. Staff is always good to deal with.

In a very desperate situation I needed to buy a generator. I called around and this chain seemed to be the only one that had them still available. I can honestly say that my first experience was a bit rushed (probably due to the crowd) and my generator only worked one day. I called back and was advised to bring it back to them.Day 2 I had the most AMAZING experience. I walked in and was greeted by Jeff. He was knowable, apologetic and friendly. He explained that the one I bought was having issues and got use a different one ( it worked great) . Also wanted to mention the cashier Carrie who was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this store!

I love the mix of quality specialty tools and cheap expendables. I can also find hardier clothing and PPE gear. The staff is always friendly and helpful at the Marietta location.

Buying experience was OK but if you use them for warranty service you are better off fixing it yourself. Engine seized on my leaf blower after 2 months. Took it in to NT and they said they would have to take a look at it to see if it was under the warranty. Now they say they can’t even look at it for a least a month. REALLY!I made sure there was the correct amount of oil so it is obviously a engine failure under warranty. You can take your chances in buying equipment from them but if you need warranty service after the sale it appears that you will wait months for even an answer to whether it is covered under warranty. Buyer beware.I will update this post if the situation improves.

In December I ordered a complex set of scaffold accessories for pickup at the store, and after getting home I realized that I had a set of 4 important wingnut sets that were missing. After I called from home that same day, they sent a driver out and personally delivered the wingnuts to my home, a 25-minute ride. I really appreciate Bonnie who was so helpful in solving my issue, and just showed a great desire to fix the mistake!

Absolutely the worst purchase I have ever made for my business.3 months ago I bought a skid sprayer 100 gallon from them. Ive spent more time fixing it than I have been able to use it. had to take it in to have the pump replaced within a month of purchasing. Took them nearly a month to repair the thing. And ever since we have gotten it back it has just been breaking almost on a daily basis. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.
