Awesome experience! I called to schedule an appointment the day of (super easy), they started on my car a few minutes early, and I actually enjoyed waiting. Super nice people that do a great job and are definite experts. My S3 showed a low tire warning - they filled my tire, reset my tire pressure monitor, and reset my mileage for my next oil change. They were busy and still took the time to be kind to everyone and provide great service. I will absolutely be returning!

SCAM ! $600.00 on a pcv valve. Took my car here to reset my PassTime which cost $140 something bucks + diag fee. Warranty company took care of that part but I left this shop with 8 codes & check engine light on. THESE PPL ARE SCAMMERS ! The check engine light ended up being $600.00 out of pocket expense for pcv valve that wasn’t bad before I gave Advantage Auto my vw. They know The warranty companies and what they cover. DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. THEY OVER CHARGE YOU. & BREAK YOU CAR !UPDATE 10/24/2021: Upload the frustration “calls” you caused me I will upload a video of your employee discriminating against me telling me to pay before I even see my car. This has to be against the law. My car came to you all with no check engine light on ! Otherwise it would be in your notes silly ! You created a problem after already being paid for PassTime repairs by dowc so I would keep coming back. Upload it ! You won’t silence me. Stoop low to overcharge & keep ppls cars for longer periods of time so you can make problems, so we keep coming back. Speak facts plz ! You charge me $600 bucks for a part and no difference. At this point, since we can’t seem to solve this little dilemma, you’ll hear from my lawyers.

If i could leave no stars i would! These people are scammers! Took my car here because it would not crank. At first Jennifer called me told me it wasn’t my battery wanted to do more testing to see what was the issue. Then she called back told me it was my battery wanted to replace my battery okay cool! So later that day she called and said my car wasn’t staying crank and i need to replace my battery came and they were going to charge me $760. Told her they didn’t have to replace the battery i would come and get my car. When i got there she stated they had to jump my car off in order to get it crank and i would not find anyone else around here with a better price. When i got in my car and tried to leave my car cut off. I checked under my noticed my battery cable was loosed. I wiggled the cable it fell into my hand. So i went back in there told Jennifer my cables was not on she got a mechanic to tighten up my cables and told me to crank my car up. My car instantly crunk up and the mechanic was shook. A couple of days later i found myself having the same issue. Got another mechanic to look at my car come to find out advantage auto service gave me a bad battery and it wasn’t even my battery to begin with i needed a starter! Called Jennifer the next day told her i need a refund for this battery because it wasn’t no good! Do not go here they will try to rip you off if you decide to let someone else fix your car!!!

I first discovered this automotive service repair shop in 2019, I believe. At that time, I believe them to be a very reputable and well-run automotive repair shop. I later use them, in early 2020 prior to the pandemic being announced and once again I found them to be a very reputable well run automotive repair shop.Recently in 2021 another one of my vehicles required repair work, unfortunately the pandemic has had an adverse effect on all businesses. I brought in my 1998 GMC pickup truck to have the high-pressure and low-pressure lines for the power steering replaced and have a oil pressure sensor installed. I also ask them to check out my starter. To my dismay, they chose to concentrate their efforts on the most expensive repairs. Let me offer a disclaimer that I only allow them to keep the vehicle one day. Rather than do what I asked they wasted time by inspecting a vehicle for more repairs then I had asked for. The result was that one of the primary repairs that I had asked for in writing was not completed. Unfortunately the pandemic has most businesses if not all scrambling to recover Revenue lost during the pandemic and we are all victims of their financial crisis. I would probably be raising prices slightly in order to recover myself if I owned a similar business, but you know what, I would take extra care not to gouge customers who had been my patrons prior to the pandemic. If anything I would be more sensitive to those people than to new customers. What I want to say about Advantage Auto Service is this when they are given time restraints now they will fixate on the most expensive repairs. In order to maximize their Revenue stream. Because of their financial problems I believe an inferior part was installed on my vehicle. I allowed them to change out the starter which had been giving me trouble for several years but now it sounds like they put some cheap remanufactured starter on my truck at a price of over $500. What has happened is this they have lost my confidence. In a desperate attempt to recover financially they have adopted some of the worst policies in the automotive repair industry. Overcharging, minimally repairing using what most people would consider to be inferior Parts in order to maximize their profits. In the future, I will be taking this into consideration when I decide whether or not to use their services. Or attempt the repair myself which would be far cheaper and at least done with reliable high quality parts. They have totally lost the confidence that I had in them.

Great service and honest pricing!!! I found them after calling over 10 different local collision shops to find a mechanic that could replace an airbag light.. Jennifer answered the phone very professionally and scheduled my appointment for the same day drop off. They charged $300 to do the job.. The shop before them quoted $1500 for the SAME job!!! 😠😡I highly recommend giving them a call.. I will DEFINITELY be doing more business with them in the future!!

My experience was nothing but God sent. I came there because I felt the air pressure go out on my brakes. They gave me the real, showed me the problem and gave it to me straight when it came to repairs. I was taken back not because of the price but I wasn’t prepared financially. As I tried to work things out with them, they were very understanding and wanting to do whatever they could. As I went home to rack my brain over how to come up with the amount or get the parts I decided that night to take a stand in trying to come up with options. The very next day I called to make arrangements to pick up my car as well as sharing my different options I was coming up with. We hung up and I continue on with my search. Not even 5 minutes of getting off the phone I received a called back telling me some who doesn’t want to be named or recognize overheard the conversation I was having about my car and decided they wanted to help, in which I mean, they would pay for the whole thing. The miracle and blessing that came out of this company makes me now one of their loyal customers forever and I want to pay it forward. I have not been able to do so yet, but in due time, I plan to do just the same in helping someone else out. Thank you to whomever it was I may never know who you were but you will always have a place in my heart, my prayers and memories. With all that being said my brakes are doing great, it’s been over a month now and I am driving without stress. In the end, I am proud to say I have a special relationship with this company and I highly recommend them. I had to have my vehicle towed here overnight after it suddenly died on me without warning. As soon the shop opened Mike reached out to me & explained what would be done and would call back after diagnostics, after their initial review they contacted me, informed me of a silent recall on my engine and let me know they believed the engine was under warranty through the dealer and that I might need to bring vehicle into dealership to have expenses covered under recall. They were quick, honest, very professional, and informed. I often dread car maintenance because as a woman I have often experienced many garages try to upsell, telling you all kinds of things need repair - anything to make a quick buck, that was definitely not the case here. I know that I will be bringing my car back to this location and that their team is going to give me excellent service and treat me fairly.

I was having problems with my car cutting off while driving, very scary thing. They were upfront and very clear on pricing as well as what my car needed now and what needed to be fixed soon. I was traveling from Alabama when my car broke down. I was turned away from 2 other shops before finding Advantage Auto. I explained my dilemma and they said they could handle the repair and drove me back to my hotel and called me in an hour telling me they diagnosed my Jeep Grand Cherokee.They said it was the water pump, thermostat & serpentine belt needed to be replaced. I gave them the go ahead to do the work.The hotel I was staying at did not allow me a late check-out so I called the shop and told them what was happening and they said to come there with my dog and I was more than welcome to wait there until my Jeep was repaired.Everyone at the shop was welcoming and very pleasant to deal with. If Iim in the area and need repairs I will definitely come back to them.

Worked with Advantage Auto Service to inspect multiple used cars before purchasing. The car dealership caused me and the staff lots of headaches, but Mike and Jennifer helped me out all they could. Great people!

They walked me through what I had to do immediately and what could wait. I ended up doing everything as I am planning on keeping this truck for a while. Mike was great to work with very responsive and got everything done in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend these guys.

Shop did great with the suspension issue. Slight creaks here and there I still hear but I believe it’s not their doing. Communication could have been 100x better on their end when it came to letting me know status updates and calling with questions or follow ups but majority of this issue was the warranty company to blame. Overall nice work good ppl and would most likely come back.

Unfortunately the combined work between advantage and Amcco was disappointing. The price was higher than any other place we looked into but the smooth talk made us trust them. In the end my van was damaged by the employees there and took much longer than promised. When we needed our radiator fixed we got a quote over $600 more than the next place we tried. The warranties from other mechanics was nearly twice the time offered by you. Sorry but we will be using you again.

I made an appointment to have the oil changed in my class c motorhome. When I got to the facility the gentleman was looking for my appointment, but it wasnt there.He never missed a beat and said well make it happen. I really appreciated him going that extra step to keep a new customer. The motorhome is very large and its not something that you just show up with, without an appointment.This was the first time that I had been to Advantage Auto Service and I plan to go back. I will take my truck there as well. The service was fantastic and everyone was very pleasant and professional!

I always take my cars here. Staff is very friendly, outgoing, and professional. They update you on the quality of your brakes, air filters, tires, etc. so you have a good idea of when you will need to replace them.

This place is shady. I got my car towed here from AAA because they said it was a AAA approved Auto place. Yeah right. Its taking everything in me not to cuss these people flat out. My car stalled and shut off and the engine would start but not turn all the way. They took a look complimentary and then said they needed to perform more testing for $139 and then hit me with another quote to replace the crankshaft sensor (this cost $19.99 at auto zone for my vehicle) for $112.04 which brought my total to $260.43 including $33.86 for fees... What fees? $168.75 for labor and $5.19 for taxes. Mind you they havent fixed the problem and Im constantly calling them for information. No one is calling me. They said this should fix the issue but more parts may be required. Well I get another quote for this time Replacing the control module for $446.28Replace the Ignition switch for $133.28 ( this is a ridiculous charge! For what?) and Computer Flash programming for $250.Honestly, all of these charges are complete utter BS!They cant even tell me whats wrong with my vehicle. Its just speculation.Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere else. DO NOT COME HERE! Its been 2 days with testing and they still dont know whats wrong but are charging me to play Blue Clues. Im getting my vehicle and taking it to a trustworthy place. $260.43 down the drain and they didnt even fix the problem or identify it.

I took my car in to this shop with the issue that the car would not restart once driven and warmed up. Till it cools down again. They told me I needed a battery terminal and charged me $100!!!! I picked up the car and it would not restart again. Had it towed back to the shop (at my expense!!!) for them to charge me another $200 for diagnostic fee. Then said there was nothing wrong with my car. and it cut off on me as soon as I left the shop again. $300 dollars and the same issue later.... I would never use this shop again.

This place may be small and easily overlooked, but they do it all ... and with a smile. Id much rather go back to a place that remembers my name and treats me like a person. Highly recommend!
