I absolutely love this place. Everyone here seems to love what they do. They are humming, singing, and feeling great. I like walking into an atmosphere like that. I do not mind waiting for services. They handle retail as well as fleet and both sides are one BIG FAMILY. If you wonder why they are busy and you have to wait this is why. Service is very thorough and honest and that is what I look for in any customer service industry. Maggie is my go to person for my car service needs and she has definitely changed the way I look at retail car repair services.

We were on the road from Chicago to Tampa and while staying overnight in Marietta, we discovered a rather large gouge in our passenger rear tire. It was about 3:30 in the afternoon and we had 460 miles to go in order to get home the next day. I just drove up looking for some help. The staff looked at the tire and said that it might make it back to Tampa. Jeremy (Im pretty sure I remembered his name), checked his inventory and found a tire in the right size and said they could replace the bad one and would check the other tires too for any damage. He actually apologized he didnt have a cheaper one! I was thankful they had anything! The staff got to work, they were extra nice, and got the new tire installed and me on my way before 5PM. All this without an appointment and with a consistent and never ending professional attitude. And Jeremy was balancing about 6-8 other customers and their issues at the same time. He never lost his cool or concentration. I am very thankful for their service and the kindness. Pep Boys knocked one out of the park for us! We have been regular customers of Pep Boys near our home near Tampa and will continue to do so. We made it home safely and without issue the next day. Thank you Jeremy and your outstanding team!!!!

I had an emergency with my brakes, while driving on I-75 on Saturday night. We called Pep Boys, and, even though they were closing, they agreed to fix our car that night. Tony and Jeremy stayed late, well after the shop had closed, and fixed the rear brakes on my Explorer. Given that my three kids were waiting for the car to be fixed before we could eat dinner, Jeremy and Tony even offered them popsicles. I cannot thank Pep Boys enough for their help! They really saved us. As I said to them, it was five star service.

The guys at this pep boys location really are the best around. In town for a concert in Atlanta, I was in a pickle to get home the same day, and these guys really looked out. Huge shoutout to Jeremy specifically!! He went above and beyond and did us a tremendous favor in an unfortunate situation. I could not recommend them more. My A/C started blowing hot air as soon as it started getting hot out.. not fun. I took my car to two different Pep Boys locations and they had me wait 4 or so hours before they called and said they didn’t have the adapter they needed for my vehicle so my initial experience was kind of rough. But today I was able to work with Jeremy and he treated me how I wish I would’ve been treated in the first place.Very communicative and professional. Their phone services went down for a couple hours and because of that Jeremy stayed late (after hours) and CALLED ME A LYFT BACK TO THE STORE FOR FREE. hopped right back in my car after paying and I now remember how cold a/c feels. just killer customer service.

Great place for automotive services! This is a fleet center and a general service center. They do everything! Bud and Jose really took care of my vehicle! They were quick, told me things that I needed and things that could wait without being pushy or high pressure. Even the Customer Service guy that checked me out (cant remember his name, but the guy with the beard) was very polite, humorous and professional. Thank you very much!!!

The absolute WORST PEPBOYS IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA . these gentlemen could either be short staff or just lazy and inconsiderate. I came to get my vehicle serviced at 12:45 . It’s not 4:00 and these gentlemen are still walking around lollygagging as if there’s nothing for them to do here with a parking lot FULL OF VEHICLES. I would NEVER recommend or come back to this location. Highly disappointed!

Technician couldn’t and wouldn’t do a front wheel alignment on a 95 GMC sierra Ha ha ha probably the easiest front alignment he could’ve had that day easy hundred bucks I tried to meet him to talk to him to figure out why because I thought it was comical I can just take it somewhere else to get a front wheel alignment but I wanted to figure out why he couldn’t do it I’ve been a mechanic for 13 years I just don’t have an alignment machineSo I’m super curious how it technician at Pep Boys Caroline a 95 GMC sierra sounds to me like you need to just stay in school pursue another career

January 2021 I took my vehicle in for a check engine light. Quoted a repair price of $2000.00, opened an account, had pep boys make the repairs. I was told I needed a tune up among other things. Picked up my car and drove for about 2 months...again my check engine light illuminated. Took my car back on 3/26/2021 and was told I needed a catalytic converter and O sensor. That repair costed $1300.00, had repairs done, picked up and left with my car. Less than two weeks go by (April 13, 2021 ) before my check engine light illuminated again. Long story short, the shop manager quoted me $1500.00 because my truck needs a computer.I declined to have the repair done by Pepboys on the feeling I have been taken advanced of already. $3300.00 in repair costs and I still don’t know what’s going on with my truck.

Brought a car in for oil change. It’s been three hours since they I checked in and still not done. I went to check on it was told that it was being backed out but now it’s been 30 minutes and still not done backing out. Terrible service and the guys out front don’t seem to care at all. No updates or anything. They are just sitting in front of computer staring at it pretending to be doing something by clicking the mouse. They should be home playing video games instead of wasting customers time. After three and half hours the car is out let me see how long before I get the keys. 15 minutes to get the keys plus they stole my sanitizing wipes. Not just slow but also thieves.

Just paid another location for an engine diagnostic before my trip. Check engine light just came on. Called my original location and they told me to go there and ask them to pull the codes. Arrived to this location and asked them if they could pull the codes as instructed by the original location, was sent through a door to the service area on the side couldnt find a staff member for at least 10 minutes besides one who opened the door talked to the FedEx guy and disappeared again. Once an employee came in I explained I was sent by another location and they requested a code pull the staff member informs me they dont do that but they can gladly charge me $100 more for an engine diagnosis again. Called the original location and they ended up having me go to AutoZone, codes pulled in less than 3 minutes and now they know what is needed to be fixed once I return from my trip. This location seems rudely staffed with shadt money hungry people.

Terribly terribly slow! Just got a Uber car out of Avis yesterday and brought it here for a tire issue. I arrived at 1015 this morning it is now 415 pm and they are just now servicing the car. If they worked harder and played less they might be able to move a little bit faster. And if you are going to have a 6 hour wait time for a car to be serviced you probably should let a customer know that prior to making them sit and wait that long. THIS IS ABSURD! Jose was able to hurry the process along after I told him I had been waiting that long. And that you are appreciated. Bottom line if you do end up at the pep boy location just ask for Jose. He will be honest & informative

At least theyre good at something!!The store manger is useless, weird and unprofessional, he should be fired long time ago!!!!!!I have a 2007 Nissan 350Z, with 125,000 miles on it.I went to this location on 09/05/2017 to have a Pennzoil full synthetic oil change, I had a coupon for $49.99,they said you know what, we will give you a better coupon for total of $39.57 including tax!WHAT A GOOD DEAL!! So definitely I agreed and gave my keys to JOHNNY WILLIS then asked him very clear simple question: Is this $39.57 oil change a full synthetic oil? He answered with a big smile YES SIR.I waited form 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm until my car is done, all that for a normal oil change, I had no appointment so Im fine with it. having nothing to do in the waiting room except drinking some coffee (after a long day in college) and watching my car while they are applying service on it.The guy who worked on my car is so funny, he didnt know where is my oil tank to open the led, I promise it took him 10 mins to find out, then h left the car up and instead of taking off the bottom cover for the whole engine, he bind it from the corner and start working on the car! I was shocked and went to talk to him so he reply as they dont have to take it all out and this way is easier!!! So I shut up and go back to waiting room where I can keep watching him.Then suddenly while he is working under the car, releasing the oil bult, high pressured oil everywhere on his face, his shirt, arms and for sure on the engine cover that he refused to take off! So now I have oil between the engine and the bottom engine cover!!Which later on everyone pass by the car tells me that theres a burning oil smell coming out of my engine!!!He start filling the the engine with the new oil, I can see him dropping everywhere on the engine and on the cars body!! Anyway it was like Im watching horror movie, imagine someone abusing your baby in front of you and you cant do anything about it.Finally theyre done by 7:00 pm, I paid for the horrible service then took my car directly to a car wash.The very next day, sitting in my car in the break between my classes, looking at the oil change reminder sticker!!! What !!!They marked the sticker as HIGH MILEAGE OIL and my next oil change should be in 3000 miles!!!!I grabbed my cars paperwork and the oil change receipt!! Its true!I asked for a pennzoil full synthetic oil, they gave me the pennzoil high mileage oil instead! So I called the store right away and spoke to the MF ( Jeff ) and explained everything to him so he replies as oh no we gave you full synthetic!! then hes like no we dont carry a pennzoil full synthetic oil in our store but the one you got is a synthetic blend high mileage, I told him that I asked for full synthetic and that what I have been putting in my car for the past two years, The MF replies to me: dont worry, the car will make it until your next oil change in 3000 miles then by that time put full synthetic!!!!!!!!!!!!He didnt even apologize to me and offer anything to help me.I called customer care of pep boys and explained everything to them, having all proves that I have a high mileage oil not full synthetic in my engine, customer care said someone will call you in 24 hrs, after two day I called again and explained the whole story again to them, explained that theres a white thick smoke coming out of my exhaust which is not normal! I think my engine is gonna blow up but looks like nobody care about us even though were a very loyal customers for year!I mean we were because Ill never have any business with pep boys anymore!They are liars, unprofessional and just trying to make money any possible way, even by fooling and stealing off their own customers!#CorruptedPepBoysStore

Sooo I hate the give this place a bad rating Ive used them alot and have had great experiences mostly. However today I came in for a smoke test that they scheduled for 9 a.m The manager starts off by telling me I need to leave it there because it will take 3 or 4 hours for a $100 service. Now, Ive never in my life heard any shop laboring or inspecting for 4 hours at such a cheep rate. I specifically told them when i made the appointment I did not have time to leave it that day. This is not the first time Ive had confused experience because of lack of communication. At your job you should be explaining all aspects of your service because your supposed to be the professional in this area of that job. HE SAID if I did make arrangements to leave my car at the last minute then I could not have my car serviced. THANKS for wasting my time and my peace of mind about what could be wrong with my car.

I have always been a big fan of Pep Boys Auto because you can buy the part and if its something small they will usually help you install it. Well today I found out not anymore I was kind of bummed. They sent me over to the service station which the guy in there was helpful and he gave me a quick helpful, fairly priced quote for what I needed done. I still decided to just buy the bulbs to replace my headlights on my own it was about half the price that it would have been if they installed them.

WOMEN BEWARE! I went there because my windshield wipers wouldnt turn off. I was quoted a price of $467.60, with the part being $318.72. This seemed high to me so I called the Ford dealership and was quoted under $100 for the part! I went to a local repair shop and paid $78.11 for the part. And that wasnt even the problem! I would have paid them over $500 by the time taxes were added and my car would not have been fixed. I spent $453 at a local shop and that included the original repair plus what was really wrong with the car. Pep Boys sounded shocked when I told them I wasnt having the work done there. STAY AWAY!!!

Made an online appointment to have new tires installed on my truck. Walked right in, gave the keys to the service manager, and left. Within an hour they called and let me know that the new tires were installed and I could pick them up. All and all, it was a really easy install and experience. Will be going back for more work in the future and taking my wifes car too.

I dont normally write bad reviews but this was very upsetting- a tire light came on in my car. I knew it was probably a nail and wanted it checked right away, so I came to this shop. I asked to have the pressure checked in my tires, and to check for a nail. The man filled all 4 tires. One was quite low compared to the rest, but he did not inspect at all for damage. 3 hours later my light was on again. If he would have just looked for the nail, I would have graciously paid for it to be fixed right at their store! Instead, Triple A came to save me at 11pm and we found a huge nail in the tire then. With all tire shops closed, I had no better option than to drive, on my spare, over 80 miles to get home. I could only go 45mph and I have to take interstates much of the way. Very dangerous for me and could have been prevented. Thankfully I made it safely, but with Friday night drunk drivers and very unsafe driving in Atlanta, it could have been serious.

Me and my sister just left this location less than five minutes ago she went in for a new battery and windshield wipers not only did it take them over two hours to fix they kept coming back saying they found more things wrong with the car instead of fixing what we originally asked for when we got back in the car the check engine light was on and the gentleman said the car might not start because she needs a new alternator the light was not on before we got to the shop and not only that they tried to add extra services and charges that we did not agree to....complete waste of time and money going to these crooks now we still have to go to another car repair shop to fix what they messed up which was supposed to be easy quick and simple.

Where do I start? The employees appear nice and welcomed me when I entered the store. I had a schedule service (basic oil change and tire rotation) and waited in line (not sure if it would be considered a line since no one else was waiting but me) for 15 minutes before I was addressed.When I finally was addressed, I was told that the service would take an hour and a half so I opted to get a ride home.I waited two hours to call back but the phone just rang...and rang for no joke, 6 mins! Finally, someone answered and informed me that my car was ready and has been ready for over 30 minutes. Why wouldn’t you call and let me know?Customer service is definitely lacking here. This is my first experience at Pep Boys and I won’t be coming back. They charge as much (if not more than the dealership) and the service is mediocre at best. Poor front customer service makes me less confident that garage service is good and that my oil change was done correctly.Maybe a place to buy parts when you’re in a pinch on this side of town but avoid servicing your vehicle unless you’ve got all day.

This is for the Canton Rd location: I went into the auto shop to get assistance with my license plate light and my 3rd brake light. I already had bulbs but when I attempted to put them on it was difficult and almost broke the glass. I even asked my neighbor for assistance to make sure I wasnt making it more difficult than it should have been. Lo and behold I still was not able to get the bulbs in the socket so I went to pep boys and initially just inquired about how to get them in and if they could provide me with help. Mike instantly took the time to assistance me and show me where the screws were and began to screw them off himself and even installed the bulb for me. He also realized that my turning signal was not working and told me to drive around and another staff would help me install the turning signal. I purchased the turning signal and drove around to the side. Reggie graciously took the time to install my turning signal and also used pliers to help me install my 3rd brake light. I thank Mike and Reggie for their great customer service!! Thumbs UP!!!

I dont normally complain, but the staff was very unfriendly throughout the entire process. They didnt value me as a customer and I felt as though I was a burden to them the entire time I was there.They said itd be a three hour wait for an oil change, this is after I had to come to this location because the first Pep Boys I had an appointment with couldnt process the rental car and said I needed to go elsewhere. I understand the 3 hour wait, I didnt have an appointment at this specific location so that didnt bother me.Although, I went online and saw that they had appointments available for the afternoon, so I asked the team if I scheduled something for later could I come back and not have to wait? They continuously said no, Id have a three hour wait no matter what. Okay, so its just a busy day. I get it...The staff didnt care to apologize for the inconvenience I had already faced with the last location. I felt as though I was in the wrong for walking through their doors and wanting to bring them business. Not a great experience, and not good customer service.

I went in there to simply get an oil change, when i get my car back all these different type of lights are on that was never on before. I called to ask a question and the lady was so rude and acted like i didn’t get leave pep boys 3 minutes prior. I’m asking as a person who doesn’t know anything about cars and she basically keep saying it’s not their fault. like it was just unprofessional and confusing. would go to walmart before i come here again.

I like this location, have been coming to this one for a little over a year now. Great service and selection. I had an issue once with an oil change, went back in and they were quick to fix the issue. Management really cares how you feel about your visit. Busy location, but very trustworthy and that goes a long way in my book. I would recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely amazing if I say so myself! Wanda was the most courteous and graceful within her skills of customer service. Ask for Shelton! The man is a genius and fixed my rim when I didnt think it could be saved. Also, Ali is the manager. Talk to him cause he knows his stuff and he is amazing as well! If you go to any Pep Boys it needs to be this one! Money well spent! Visit them if you have any problems in Marietta or anywhere close!

Bought tires via Amazon and prepaid installation. Got to Pep Boys and the manager says they dont want to risk installing low profile tires (245/35/R20). Had to shove 4 tires in a Acura TL with two kids and drag them to another shop.

I visited this place 2 weeks back for a oil change. When i entered, the front desk seemed least interested in working. I clearly mentioned that my tire pressure indicator is on for a couple of days and asked them to get it checked. After an hours wait, they returned my car.The moment I got into my car, the tire pressure indicator was still on. I went back inside and told the front desk. He came and checked it himself and said the person whoever changed my tires previously took away the tire sensors and it would $800 to put new ones, on all tires.I could very well tell he is making it up. I said I will take care of it myself and left the place. I went to QT and filled air in all tires and the indicator just went away. I was thinking Pep Boys is a huge chain and should be credible. Never will I go back.

Nissan pathfinder not running to efficiently. i change oil every 3000 regardless of what others tell me. am old school. went for second oil change to this pep boys and asked for same oil as dealer installed at first oil change. pep boys researched specs and refused to install same oil as dealer. pep boys was correct. this suv needs synthetic oil. car runs smooth now. where does one receive such service these days?

This is the best and trustworthy place to take your car to. They picked up the slack from the pepboys in the Howell mill location where they cheated me out of money and messed up my car instead of fixing it. The people in this Cobb Pkwy location actually care and do their job with quality.

The reps who schedule service always seem to want to turn people away more than help. After a few different interactions I always feel like I am an inconvenience. I will not return. Goodyear down the road are much more helpful and you feel like they want your business.

Maggie and Darren truly took care of me. I came in towards the end of the day in serious need of new tires. Not only did they help me with selecting a great tire brand they also went out of their way to make sure everything was done correctly. And Darren even fixed my driver side door which was making this awful creaking noise when opening. Something I thought I was going to have go to a body shop he fixed on the spot! Thanks again guys!!!

Made an appointment the day before - thought I was lucky to get an appointment at all at such late notice. I was wrong. Walked in and told them about my appointment time and was told that it didn’t matter and they wouldn’t be able to see me until tomorrow at the earliest.Went down the street to Midas and they stayed open an hour later to help me install the headlights that Pep Boys couldn’t keep the appointment for. I recommend you all just skip Pep Boys and just go a little farther down the street to Midas - more expensive but they actually care about their customers.

I had to get an emissions test done on my vehicle yesterday and decided to go to this Pep Boys. I was pleasantly surprised by the awesome customer service! I was greeted by Brandon and he assisted me the entire time I was there. He was so helpful and nice and extremely professional. My car was done in no time and the mechanics were very friendly. I went in to get my tires changed after my car hydroplaned in heavy rain.. They took a good look at it and told me that the issue wasnt with my tires and it had many miles to go. Any other place, I guarantee you, would have been more than happy to take your money away.. Thanks for being extremely honest and helpful guys. On top of that they didnt charge me a single cent.

I usually dont review businesses but I just have to say how great this company is to do business with. They consistently deliver and have given us nothing but great service at a very good price for the past 2 years. We took our car in with a flat tire and b/c we were rewards member, they fixed it for free. Another time we got our oil changed here and they noticed a nail in our tire and patched it for free.The service is great and the staff are always helpful. Theyve earned our loyalty.

Parts are generally cheaper than Advance Auto down the road. Always check website as they have a 25% discount on many parts if you order on the web and then pickup in person. Service department is another story, double-check *all* their work and be prepared for long waits. I wouldnt trust them for anything more complex than tires, battery or oil change. Stuff like being overbilled for web orders at the service counter due to their website not working right for service scheduling, not doing simple stuff like refitting the engine cover correctly after swapping a battery, or not putting enough oil in after an oil change (5 qts into a 6qt engine) have plagued my service visits here.

Where do I start? I made an appointment online to diagnose cranking noise and was expecting to get detailed info about the problem. Dropped off the vehicle and later went back to store after I got a call from them that diagnosis is complete. After waiting for 40 mins in line [all the service advisers were busy in chatting with their colleagues and phone calls] finally I got a chance to talk to one of the service advisor..and he mentioned the reason could be anything for cranking noise. When I asked about the details they said the car is 10 yr old and the parts are old so the issue could be anything. He is least concerned to talk about the issue and has careless attitude. I know there is an issue with the car and so dropped off to get diagnosis done but to hear an answer like Issue could be anything. Finally they charged me around $25 for their useless diagnosis and I left the place as I see NO point in talking with them any further.. I wish there is 0 star review for these people. 1 star is way too high for these folks! Sorry, I would never come back!

Brought my vehicle in twice and it still wasnt fixed, and the technician (Reza) wants to get an attitude with me because Im upset. Apparently Im not the first person hes been rude to. Maybe if they knew how to service vehicles properly they wouldnt have this problem.
