I dont usually review corporate chains, but I was impressed with the staff here and I wanted to recognize them. I needed to rent equipment and have no clue what Im doing. Music store staff have a reputation of being wildy condescending at best and straight up rude at worst. I got none of that from the staff here and got exactly what I needed. A+ service!

I found the selection limited. Also come time for check out all the employees seemed to be on break. Had to wait about 30 minutes to get someone to ring us up. The instrument teachers ended up being more helpful than the actual employees.

I went in to pick up an order and return an order at the same time which was complicated because some items were the same. Tom the manager was super helpful in spite of them being swamp at the counter with many special situations like trade-ins, internet return orders, phone orders and a guitar they couldnt get off layaway. Several times the staff and the other manager Mikah checked in with me and apologized for the long wait but in the end I was satisfied with the process. It pays to go to the store in the first place if you have a GC close to you. I got to watch the counter for a while and they treated every customer with respect and gave them appropriate to answer questions, pull merchandise and ring out orders.

Morgan was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The other staff were just as great. I will shop there again and recommend them to all my friends. Great place, great people.

Could of had more of a selection of Ibanez guitars. As well as more Orange Amps. But great customer service. Doug the repair man was a great help to fixing my mans Ibanez J Team Prestige.

I recommend that you do not do business with Guitar Center. You walk in and none of the employees acknowledge you. They might look at you but they make no effort to communicate or help you. The display instruments are in poor condition. Go to the Manchester Music Mill on Elm Street and support a local business where you will be acknowledged and questions will be answered.

It is so nice that there are still a few music stores that are in business. While I could have ordered some or all of my equipment online I chose to support the Guitar Center where a got professional advice and help in my equipments selection.

I have to admit I was a little leery of going to the Big Box Store, after just leaving the mom and pop store down the street where no one ask if I needed any help. I was in the acoustic guitar room for less than 5 minutes when Kasey walked in and asked if there was anything we wanted to see when my eye caught a couple of Breedloves up on the top rack and I asked him if he could get two of them down for me which he did in short order. Not only did he get them down but he brought others my wife and son had focused on a Taylor 312 and a Martin Road series all in a similar price range to the Breedloves and he pointed out some of the subtle differences of each. If that wasnt enough he sat there and traded some his Led Zepplin guitar riffs with me and gave me his thoughts on the sound and feel and features of each one of the now half dozen or more guitars I was considering. He was very professional, very patient, very polite, very insightful and I would not have purchased a guitar that night if he wasnt there. I highly recommend him for a management position if one opens up! Thanks Kasey, keep on picking man!

I went to guitar center to get a gift certificate two days before Christmas. It was busy but they had enough staff working the floor to where I was immediately approached and asked how they could help me and then I was given clear information on where to go to make my purchase.I was in and out during a busy shopping season within 10 minutes. Nice work!I might also add that I observed two other clusters if customers being helped and a transfer if technical infor.ation was being relayed. It sounded (to me) as if they really knew what they were doing/talking about.

They need to hire more informed workers that simply know something about the music instraments that they sell !!

So so service. I asked if they had something in stock and the clerk quickly looked in the computer, said we dont have it and moved on to the next person. If they would have stopped and showed me an alternative item, they could have had a sale. I went to another place in town and bought what I needed.

Went in to buy a guitar that was shown as in stock online. Unfortunately, they did not have the one I wanted, but the sales person pulled down a couple similar guitars for me to play. I was given as much time as I wanted to go over them. When I was finished I decided to order the one I wanted. They were able to have it shipped to a closer GuitarCenter for me to pickup later in the week. I really enjoyed my experience and look forward to going back again.

Joe the manager (what a joke) is the most negative energy person and bad businessman. I should thank him because i got the same guitar in a different color, that I actually like way better, online factory sealed for $350 less that Guitar Center rip off price. Go to Manchester Music Mill, those guys are 1000 smarter and better!

Loved it amazing customer service

Walked in to buy a guitar, since i am a novice i had a lot of questions as to the right one to buy. Followed an employee into the acoustic room and he proceeded to not offer any help at all (i think he was in there to hide) and he must have sensed when i was about to ask a question cause he got up an left. I could almost feel the employees trying to avoid eye contact with me. Its like they knew i was a novice and wanted nothing to do with me. Went home did a little research on beginner to intermediate guitars and bought one off Amazon.

Nice to have a Guitar Center location in Manchester, NH. Store is big and clean. Great selection of gear, including mics, studio recording equipment and FOH sound equipment. Obviously lots of guitars and basses. Tons of new gear. Plenty of used gear also. Staff was friendly and didnt hover while I was trying stuff out.

Staff and Management lack knowledge of the products. They have zero people skills and are extremely unprofessional. If youre just a hack musician then this is the place for you. However if you are a professional musician avoid this store like the plaque!!!! I gave them 1 star because this rating system doesnt allow for negative stars.

Spent a half hour there ignored, then left. The lady that came to stand in line behind me felt the same. Was in to pick up a guitar and mic. Not likely Ill waste any more time going back .

Its a Guitar Center. Just like all the others Ive been to. The staff has been good to me every time Ive been there, so definitely credit for that. But deep down it still has the pros and cons of any other Guitar Center.

The staff are friendly and helpful. However, two different stores have sold us used items as new ones (they claimed that the items were new, but the items were in fact used).

If you like being followed around being badgered to apply for a credit card and buying extended warranties this is the place for you. Also if you enjoy dealing with employees who are brain dead you gotta go.Last visit I had an employee abandon a trade in I brought in because he said his shift was over. Sure no problem except he left me standing at the counter not asking anyone else to finish the transaction. After 15 minutes standing at the counter I took my amp and left.Worst music shop I have ever been in.

Since I own a Local Entertainment Agency I go to Guitar Center a lot, I have bought speakers, cables, mics, headphones, DJ controllers and more over the years my recent expericnce at Manchester Guitar Center was the best ever, I needed a very specific cable right before a HUGE weekend and I needed to know that it was going to work. Bruce helped me out, He even set up a small system so that I could be sure the cable is what I was in need of, Now I can go Entertain all weekend and get paid with no worries about my Equipment, thanks Bruce!

Definitely larger but that doesnt always mean better. I felt more lost in this store but, I did love the variety of books offered that comes with a larger store which is nice and its in an easy to find location.

Not one if the 4 sales associates approached my husband or I to see if we wanted any assistance. I had to ask them for help. Once I did, the person I asked didnt know too much about the products I was looking at. He suggested we speak with someone else who knew more but when he went to get that person he could not be bothered to leave the computer and come over. He sent the first guy back with suggestions that didnt help at all. I will not ever go in there again and certainly not buy anything.

The gentleman at the desk with the mohawk was super nice and helpful when I asked for help re-stringing my classical guitar for the first time. I’ve done my acoustic a million times, but not yet my classical. He said that he’s not familiar but that he’d get the manager who knows how to do it. The manager didn’t come out but rather passed on the suggestion that I use ball-end strings. Nope, I know what strings I want. Thanks for nothing, manager. That was incredibly disappointing.
