Fantastic ice cream and service. This little piece of heaven on a corner has seating behind the building and if youre a people watcher, youll really enjoy the fact that the bike trail runs right past.

Made the trip to Madison, Wisconsin for the Michigan @ Wisconsin football game. We had wonderful Wisconsin icecream from a friendly face. The delicious ice cream was just what we needed after a nice day and 80 degree temperatures in the beginning of October at Camp Randall. Highly recommended!

Took the family tonight because I had 2 free cones (hope the Owner likes the safe I loaded.) The shop was amazing, the staff was friendly, the ice cream was phenomenal! Great place, will be back. I have to full up my punch card now.

Super friendly staff - they encouraged that we sample a bunch of different flavors! Speaking of which, the have A LOT of really fun flavors (e.g. birthday cake, blue moon with cookie dough [called play-dough], bubble gum, etc).They also have a fun seating space in the back!

Im happy that the Merrimac ferry ice cream place is now in my neighborhood too. The staff here are sooo nice, and Cedar Crest is great ice cream, made in Wisconsin and found at the state park concession stands. I love that they have fun flavors like bubble gum and reasonable portion sizes. My favorite is Daily Grind. For the haters, all I have to say is that Chocolate Shoppe ice cream is frozen butter.

I was a fan of Chocolate Shoppe before but was pleasantly surprised by Atwood Scoop. They have definitely won our business. Super friendly staff who offered free samples. I appreciated that they had spots marked on the sidewalk to remind people to keep appropriate safe distance while waiting.I got a scoop of playdough (blue moon with cookie dough) which was my favorite as a kid. My husband got pirates bounty (Carmel with M&Ms and cookie pieces) which was some of the best ice cream we have ever had. Overall great experience.My only complaint is that portion sizes were too big. I would have rather paid $3 for a mini dish 1/3 the size of what we got instead of $5 for a gigantic dish I couldnt finish.

Great vibes here. Good intentioned people selling good ice cream. A wonderful spot to grab a cone and either sit in the nice patio area or take it across the street to the park and enjoy your cone on the stones in the park! They pride themselves in their service and it shows. Highly recommend

The new owners fixed up this corner ice cream shop and turned it into a neighborhood gem. I highly recommend.

This place was AMAZING! Ice cream is great, and the service was fantastic. I’ve never felt so loved and taken care of at an ice cream shop. I’m also beyond impressed with the replies on the reviews. You all go above and beyond and it shows! We will definitely be back in the very near future ☺️

Im not a fan of the tactics taken by this shop to oust the previous tenants. Chocolate Shoppe love! By the way theres a really cute Chocolate Shoppe like 2 doors down. Chocolate Shoppe definitely has the best ice cream.

I was just traveling through Madison and stopped at this little gem. It a amazing how a simple ice cream cone and a smile brightens up your day. This is one of those places I’d love to bring my family back to.

Its no chocolate shop

Have stopped twice since the new business has been in and both times the person working was very patient and kind which is great when you have indecisive kids with you. Its also nice that they have a little bit of a variety of frozen treats in case you dont want specifically ice cream.

Shady business owners who bought the building and locked Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream out of their shoppe. Do yourself a favor and walk four buildings down to the new Chocolate Shoppe and enjoy some locally owned and made ice cream.

I used to like this place but for some reason they changed the ice cream brand from Chocolate Shoppe to some other stuff thats just not as good! I believe theres a new place that opened down the block that still has the good ice cream however!
