We have an approximately 1750 sf condo on an upper floor that we have lived in for approximately 3 years. We contracted with Carpets Plus of Wisconsin to remove all the flooring that was in the unit - carpeting, ceramic tile, and vinyl planking and replace it with new luxury vinyl planking from Cortec. Joshua Fallin worked with us over a couple of months selecting the particular flooring and color and did a wonderful job listening to what we were looking for and narrowing the field of choices. When the day came to do the installation, Dylan Zweifel and his crew - Steward and Cam - were there on time and immediately started the job. All I can say was that they were extremely meticulous in their work and corrected many issues that arose to make sure the floor they were putting the new vinyl on was perfectly prepared for an excellent finish. They really took great care and solved many problems as they arose. I would have no reservations about recommending Carpets Plus of Wisconsin and Dylans crew for any major project of this nature. If I could I would rate them at 7 stars!!

Moria did a fabulous job of asking about my needs for carpet performance before presenting multiple options. She gave budget friendly and luxury options. Most importantly, I felt my business was welcomed and appreciated, a SIGNIFICANTLY different experience than at another Madison flooring store (less expensive options but I felt I was inconveniencing associates on three separate visits, they were dismissive and I was given the impression my business was not important).

Went in looking for remnants for two of my rooms, they had an excellent selection. I was convinced to get the edges bound, and I’m so happy that I ended up doing that. It makes it look so much nicer than it would have without. I don’t have the vehicle to get them home myself, so I had them delivered. Delivery was only $50. Phillip was prompt in scheduling the delivery and was on time.

We had a good experience with Carpets Plus for our basement remodel. Mariah was our salesperson/single point of contact and she was very responsive/attentive throughout the process. Installers did a good job laying pad/carpet and came back out a few days later to address minor issues I identified after the first vacuuming. Carpet decision to measure to install took around 4-5 weeks. Selection was good, prices were fair and they finished on-time and on-budget. I would purchase from Carpets Plus again.

The guys at Carpets Plus of Wisconsin just finished putting in about 1400 sq ft of luxury vinyl planks in my condo, and re-carpeting two flights of stairs. I couldn’t be more pleased. Nice selection of durable linoleum (Armstrong and others). One salesperson (K.W.) was low pressure yet helpful. Another salesperson disappeared into the almost empty showroom when I couldnt choose a sample fast enough. Nevertheless,. I would definitely stop here first before wasting time at some big box store.

Great experience replacing carpet in a bedroom and hall. I called to schedule an estimate, and Kodiak (family member of the founders!) said Im on the west side now--are you available in 20 minutes--when was the last time that happened? We met, he brought to the house sample options, explained pros and cons of each choice without trying to sell the most expensive. Once we made a choice, the carpet install occurred within a week! Install went very well--I could tell the installers (Jim and Josh) were going to do the job right, not just do the job. Ive used Carpets Plus in the past and would use them again in the future. I would highly recommend them!

Kodiak Wanta helped me choose my new carpeting and the first one he showed me is the one I ended up getting. It went perfectly with my kitchen flooring. Josh and one other installed the carpet and they were both real friendly and cleaned up nicely afterwards. Some items had to come off the walls and they made sure to put them back up. It was a very pleasant experience.

Installers were there two days later and got the entire 1500 sq foot job done in a day and a half, a very professional crew. We moved in on the following day. My wife and I bought a house and planned to install a backsplash in the kitchen ourselves. We went into Carpets Plus to look at pricing and David Chadwick was very helpful with selecting colors, and types of tile, as well as providing us with information on how to install ourselves. We later determined that the project was above our ability level and David was able to set us up with an installer quickly at a very reasonable price. We did have a scheduling issue as our tile was back ordered but David was able to work with us and the installer to get the project done in a very reasonable timeframe. We spent some time at the shop looking at carpet. After some time the man helping us got distracted by another customer to the point that we actually had to get assistance from the other man working there that night. I actually overheard him mutter under his breath in annoyance noticing that the other man had completely ignored us as customers. He was helpful in getting us squared away with samples, but then after making the order they couldnt get it shipped in time for the installation date. We proceeded to tell them wed come in to select something they had in stock so we could continue to have it installed on time. Instead of holding our installation date they gave it away to someone else forcing us to select another date, which ended up being so far out we dropped the order all together. On top of all of this we had already prepared by moving most of the furniture, but at this point we decided to take our business elsewhere, which actually had pricing of similar quality carpet at about half the price.

From the professional sales rep that went the extra mile to help me to the crew that installed I would recommend everyone to Carpet Plus!

Great customer service, they were able to install 1100+ sq/ft of carpet within 2 weeks when HD was going to take 7 weeks.

I had some Tarkett flooring installed in two bedrooms. Months later I found a bump under the floor from a piece of debris that was left and called them to come look at it. Dave looked at it and agreed to fix it but never got back to me as promised and I let it go as I have a very busy work schedule.Fast forward 3 years and each piece of Tarkett flooring is buckled up/curling up from the sides and the floor looks like an ocean. 6 months have past since I first called this problem in. 3 people have already looked at the floor and took pictures. Each of the 3 have confirmed the floor is bad and said it will be replaced under the lifetime warranty but now they say a 4th person needs to look at it. Ive been waiting over 2 months for this 4th person, calling the people that have already been here but they just blow me off.

Did a walk-thru of our new home on a Sunday evening only to realize that the carpeting in the lower level was in need of replacement BADLY.I called and spoke to Jack the minute the store opened on Monday.With very little hesitation, he assured me that we could get carpeting selected, house measured and install done by Wednesday night.I could not have asked for better service, price, selection.The installer did a wonderful job!! Keep this in mind- our house is 45 minutes north of Carpets Plus East AND this was the week of Christmas. Thanks for everything!!!!
