Beto, the manager is so personable and provides amazing customer experience by taking the time to get to know each guest. I came in and loved the service provided and work done on my car that I recommended this shop to another friend and she too, was pleased. All my concerns were addressed and I even got a chance to see the parts replaced in my vehicle and they provided a thorough explanation of the situation. I am so thankful for the sweet technicians and job well done. Definitely recommend this shop to everyone!

Honestly one of the best places Ive ever gone to. Ive taken all my cars here for 3 years plus and I dont have any complaint. If something is ever wrong with their work; which it rarely is, you can take it back and they will fix it for free. Fair prices for fair work. They tell you the truth and nothing more. Two Thumbs up.

Are Durango overheating on the freeway and we werent sure what happened after we just got a smog check and pass well we took it to South Bay Auto and they were great they found the problem right away to know were charges citizen Away really quick stop us from worrying this stab there was great mechanic Louise was great everybody was just terrific I recommend this place a hundred percent I would drive here a little bit further just to make sure that its my mechanic of choice, five stars all day

This place over charge for everything, charged me 373.32 for ignition control sensor, i found the same sensor 208.00. Charged me 133.42 for crankshaft position sensor, i found the same sensor 50.99 with lifetime guarantee. I understand that this is a shop & in it to make money but Ill find somewhere else $918.00 for may be $500.00 job. Could have did this myself, work schedule ties me up.Never again !

Paid for my own starter, brought it to them to put on for 160 it was the wrong one and they tried to charge me the whole 160 there is no way I asked for half of my money back and they argued with me. I don’t recommend this place at all go to PETES ON CHERRY AND HARDING ON YOUR RIGHT HAND SIDE. Reasonable people.

IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET SCAMMED, DO NOT COME HERE!! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD!!!! Heres the deal. So, my mom has a 2015 Chevy Cruise that was overheating, and we eventually found out that there was a problem with the head gasket. So my dad took it to Southbay just to confirm this, and they told him that it would cost 75 dollars to check it out. So they took off the engine cap and we saw that there was water in the spark plugs. Then the mechanic told my dad that remove and replace of the head gasket would cost 1500 dollars. They also said that they would send the head gasket out to find out if it was damaged beyond repair. But, come to find out, they did not send it off. They examined it themselves and told my dad that the car would need a new engine. They said that they would supply a new engine, and that they would charge 6000 dollars for it. They said that the reason why it came up to so much money was because they would have to buy all of the extra parts for the engine. So to eliminate this problem, my dad asked what the price would be if he found an engine with all of the parts already on it and then they said it was going to cost 3000 for installation, even though at first they told my dad it would be just 1500 dollars for remove and repair!! Then my dad told them that this was WAY TOO MUCH MONEY and that he would just come and get the car, that he didnt want them to fix it anymore. So he found another mechanic that would do it for 800 dollars.Then now Southbay told my dad that in order to get the vehicle out of their shop, they would have to charge him half of the payment(half of 1500 dollars, which they said was 900, but is actually 750), but they never told my dad in the beginning that he would have to pay half of the payment if he doesnt have them to fix the car. Long story short, they held on to the car and said that my dad wont be able to get it out until he pays them 900 dollars, even though they didnt do anything but tear the engine apart!!!! They removed it, but they didnt replace it!!! This doesnt make any sense whatsoever, because in the very beginning they told my dad that it would just be 75 dollars to find out what was wrong with the car. THIS PLACE IS FRAUDY!!! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSE WHERE!!!!!

Legit repair shop. Kind of expensive but got 2 tires changed, oil change, and cleaned engine block for 660. They gave me a ride home.

* WARNING*UNPROFESSIONAL MECHANICS, BUNCH OF THIEFS Took my car there with a engine knock, a week later they charged me hundreds of dollars and the car still knocks the same! They claim they changed the motor oil, I checked the dip stick and the oil is old and dirty. An oil change doesnt cost hundreds of dollars!!!

Went in for a wheel alignment, they charged me 70 bucks, it took them two hours and when I left there was a dent on my car and it still pulls to the right, I will never go back there again, horrible service.
