For a first time car buyer, I was in great hands with Sales Rep Tyler! He was very patient with me from the start to the very end. If you are looking for great customer service and an amazing atmosphere, please come by here! Tyler made my whole experience very fun and understanding at the same time. Tyler’s attitude was positive and very funny. I really recommend Lodi Toyota, after going to 3 dealerships, this one was the one & it wouldn’t have been as great if it wasn’t for Tyler. Amazing experience! I am very pleased! Tyler makes me want to go back to at least hang out, that’s how great everyone was! Diego from service and Moe from sales were very helpful. I had come in for my 20k service on my Camry and they had both helped me very much. I had told Diego about a concern that I had for my transmission that Roseville Toyota couldnt figure out. He had then made sure to tell the mechanics and they had managed to fix it after Roseville said they couldnt notice anything wrong with it. This just goes too show how at Lodi Toyota they really care about the customer satisfaction and I will make sure to recommend them to all of my family and friends.

The best experience Ive had buying a car with Charles and Rachel (I believe was her name in financing), especially after a month of a nightmare searching.We found a 4Runner posted SUPER early in the morning - not even twenty minutes after it was uploaded. Called immediately after opening to make sure it was still available, and sure enough it was. The process was extremely easy, Charles had even brought it out for us to drive as soon as we got there. Rachel was more than willing to explain everything that we were signing, even if we asked the same question in a different way lol. TWO HOURS and I walked out with my dream car, at the best price Ive ever seen it listed private sale or by a dealershipExtremely friendly staff, even the manager was easy to talk to!Thank you so much for your help, Lodi Toyota!!

I highly recommend this dealership if you are on the market for a new or used car. They have a great selection and an indoor showroom - which is key in this hot weather. They are willing to work with you but just be prepared for a long day. We worked with Brigette who was such a doll. She helped me with my little ones too when we were looking around. More like “We Say No”, I went to look at a used car that cost 8000 and make more than enough money to finance the car and make the payments. After the test drive I was sent over to one of the “managers”. Next guy made me jump through a bunch of hopes along with providing proof of income just to get financing. In the end he said I couldn’t get the car even though I make more than enough money to make payments and insurance as well as live comfortably. All in all a wasted afternoon with these liars.

I was told that I could reserve the car I wanted since it was still in transit. To my surprise when the car came in I got a call saying that I could come and purchase it and that I could pick it up the next day. Well about 15 minutes later I get a text saying the car had been sold 3 WEEKS AGO! If your looking for an honest dealership go somewhere else. No one mentioned vehicles being presold. At least Elk Grove Toyota was honest on the time frame and didnt lead me on with false expectations I will be taking my buisness elsewhere

6/10/2021 bought a used vehicle, traded in my vehicle. Had substantial equity in my vehicle but still owed a balance. Checked with my credit union on 6/24, loan not paid off, quote was good for 10 days only. Called finance dept., she will check into and call me back this day. No call back. 6/26 still no call back. 6/26 no payoff, so called again, she checked and said payoff was in the mail. 6/29 checked my credit union, still no payoff. Called dealership and left a voice mail with Gen.Mgr. 6/30 no payoff and no return call by Gen.Mgr, so called sales person. Explained sequence of phone calls and my next step will be to file a complaint with BBB. Salesperson gave me his personal cell#, said will contact business ofc and request I text him on 7/1. I am posting this now as I shouldnt have had to go to this extent!

I had such a good experience at Lodi Toyota! I traded in my Prius in for a 2020 Camry SE and Mona was so helpful on helping me choose what my next car was going to be and I am a pretty picky person too. Ive never had a new car and couldnt be happier with my decision on getting one. I was going to go with a used car but ended up buying a new car, due to it being such a better deal and Mona was able to help me out with any questions I had. Our finance representative explained everything and he made the worst part of buying a car very smooth. It was a bit of a drive from Sacramento but definitely worth it for how friendly everyone here is. I highly suggest going here and go see Mona or Moe for your next car!

First gripe is my fault. I should have test drove the car first and made sure the system was in there, but its a Toyota Corolla and Ive never had issues with them. I made sure to tell the salesman I wanted the Corolla that had the JBL sound system. He assured me it was in the model they sold me. It wasnt, and now if I want that system installed, it would be near $10,000 due to the labor costs (quote from their own service department). Second complaint is they took over 2 months to transfer ownership of my Jeep from me to them. I started receiving notices that I owed money for bridge tolls in the bay area. So I took the bills down to Toyota and they said they straightened it out. I received another bill and called. Once again they assured me that it was handled. It wasnt and now my credit score has dropped due to delinquency while Im trying to buy a house.Buying this car has become a way bigger hassle than it needs to be. I should have known better as this dealership was a hassle to deal with when I bought a Scion tC in 2012. Ill likely not buy a car here when I trade the Corolla in for an upgrade in a couple years as theres not much they can do to fix what they messed up. They want too much for a stereo system and they cant undo my credit score hit.

I ended up going in for a major mileage maintenance for my wifes car, which included battery state of health checks. Less than a week and a half later, my wifes car stops working. So I take it to Toyota and they told me its my battery. Thats frustrating, since they literally just told me it was a perfectly healthy battery. On top of which, they decided it was a great idea to CHARGE ME for it after their mess up. They also charged me extra for doing the lifetime oil change that I paid for when I bought a car. (They made me pay another $40 after I already pre-paid for a lifetime service). If you dont have their lifetime service, go elsewhere. Its way too expensive and it feels like you dont even get actual service or check your car. They just check off the boxes and call you six hours later.

But wait, theres more: You got a super great guy working there, not that theyre not all super good guys, but one that I come in contact with a lot is Roger Abbott (AKA Roger Rabbit) in Parts.Hes so dang funny, almost dangerous. Dealing with Toyota and Lodi was the worst experience of my entire life. They sold me a car they blew up before I even got two blocks away from the dealership. They took the car back for a week gave me the car back a week later and the car blew up three more times and a six week period. They are refusing to do anything to help me. I’m a single mom on low income and now I’m stuck paying On a three-year loan for a car that is blown up in my driveway. They promised to make it right three different times and wasted my time each time I went to the car lot. They are taking no responsibility for selling me a unmerchantable vehicle. I have no way to get to work. I’m on the verge of losing my job and they show no compassion or no empathy. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy

I give them 4 stars for the great customer service and help I received from one of the employees named Hennessy and a manager that helped resolve a problem I had. When I purchased my car I was lied to by the salesman Luis, who told me that I was paying extra for lifetime oil changes but when I brought my car in I was given a bill after my oil change and found out he lied to me. I would have NEVER signed that contract to pay higher monthly payments if it wasn’t for him telling me that lie. Despite me being very upset Hennessy handled the situation very professionally and after speaking with a manager the charges were taken care of that day and I didn’t have to pay for the oil change. I’m still disappointed about being lied to and would NOT recommend doing any business with Luis if you go there.

Part recall on 2019 Tacoma for several months. Part keeps being delayed and date gets moved further back. In meantime were driving hoping fuel pump doesnt die when were 7000 ft up in Sierras.Suggestion: take new fuel pump from Tacoma sitting on lot and put it in my truck. Just sayin.

Thursday, 9/10, my husband and I walked on Lodi Toyota’s car lot to see the new RAV4 and do a little price shopping as we are not looking to buy anytime soon. Mr. Yates, floor manager, offered us amazing customer service and answered all our questions regarding technology packages, models, etc. even knowing that we weren’t ready to make a purchase. I giving this review because unlike other dealerships, Mr. Yates was not pushy and did not pressure us into talking about deals and respected us. 3.5 but Ill round up. The manager, maybe owner, is a 5 star guy. He is kind, flexible, helpful and sincere.But last year when I bought my car the sales person was awful... she knew very little about her job, which I understand if you are learning, but she was also very rude to the manager in front of me and my mom. Not Cool.The last two times I have gone for oil changes there is very little communication with me. Today I waited an hour to be acknowledged and another hour before my car was ready. I get it, you guys are busy. But at least acknowledged me. Please.Also when I called to make the appointment for the oil change no one answered. I left a message and never got a call back... I ended up going online, which is very easy. There are pros and cons... once I got somebodies attention they were kind. Not bad but not great. I do like there free coffee though.

Not happy with my experience at all! I was quoted one price out the door then they have you go do your paperwork then they throw at you extras like paint protection plan and scotchgarding for the seats which I fell for then was told someone would be contacting me in a few days to get that taken care of and nothing! Its been a month now I called a week ago and spoke with guy who sold me the car he said he would get on it well a week to the day later nothing!! Called him again he said he would get it taken care of and still waiting! I also noticed a check list in glove compartment that said something about mats which my car did not even have I paid good money for that car should not have to go and buy something it should have already came with! These people are all up on you when you get there but after you walk out the door forget about it! Very frustrated would not recommend this place at all! I want a refund on my paint protection and scotchgarding if they dont plan on doing it. I didnt even want to give one star but had no choice would not let me post my comment without it!

I took my 2007 Yaris in for repairs at Toyota dealership in Lodi CA. It’s grinding when downshift into 2nd gear. The service department gave me a quote of nearly $13,000 to fix. Completely asinine and total rip off for a 2007 car!

Had problems with the vehicle after taking it In for an oil change and tire rotation. Apparently Toyota put different size tires on my car when I had bought them. I almost crashed when coming to a red light my car didnt want to stop. All the lights came on and I had to go back in. Check your cars and make sure they write down who works in your car.The boss was there and they didnt want me to talk to him. Im here now and apparently hes no where to be found so. Honestly didnt expect this, Toyota should be more reliable. I pay for the reliability. My trust is gone with these people and will not be the same.

The first time during an 18,000 mile service and inspection, I went in first thing in the morning and was out at noon. COME ON! At least a word about how sorry we are that I couldnt get out sooner. Not even a make up coffee or bagel or nothing. Did I mention nothing?The on an out-of-service and inspection at 80,000 miles, I thought Id give you guys a second try. Bad mistake. Same service except for the air put in a slow flat that had to be fixed elsewhere. And an attempt to sell two air filters for a 100 bucks more. I had to go to the tire shop, three exits away to get the tires a further inspection to find out that I should replace them.Happy camper? NOT!You guys are bright people. You dont need me to call you back. Besides, Im a retired engineer who does not give out free consultations on the side.

Tired of calling at the Lodi Toyota, no one is responding on issues and never called back. As I bought 2014 Toyota Camry couple of months ago, I found 4 5 issues in car I explained them got an appoint for diagnoses car. They also agree with the problem, and said they are going to call me back but I never get call back from mechanical team. This Car from dealership have1. Remote Key issue2. A/C vents shutter are broken from inside3. While driving up to 70 MPH car, steering wheel are vibrating like massage chair4. same as Breaks - if you try your car to slow down, then feels like engine or tires will pops out and you can loose control from steering.5. maintenance light is Stays ON.But his things are common for them. Its not a big issue for them. They just know to sell cars thats it. this is my worst experience from Lodi Toyota. I never recommences any one this dealer ship again. I did mistake I send 3 customers to them before. I have their names but I don’t want to disclose any name.Thank you Lodi Toyota.

Horrific experience here. I bought a previously owned Toyota Tacoma truck from Lodi Toyota. The salesman was pleasant but pushy and really didnt listen to any of my concerns. I added the unlimited oil changes to the truck upon purchase. After the purchase, I noticed the alignment was off. I took it back in explained the alignment issue. The salesman said it wasnt his responsibility! They DID do a four wheel alignment, but the truck was still pulling. After arguing with the service manager, he agreed to put on four brand new tires, but that after that they (Lodi Toyota) would NOT be responsible for anymore alignment issues. I have since taken my truck elsewhere to get another alignment & its fine now.In another instance, I took my truck in for an oil change & had them rotate my tires (which should be included - especially since I bought the truck from them AND they put on the new tires) However, I was charged for the tire rotation because, I was told, I didnt purchase the tires from them. Seriously, THEY PUT THE TIRES ON MY TRUCK plus I bought the truck THERE! They dont take ANY RESPONSIBILITY with anything. I dislike this dealership so much so that now I only take my truck there for my free oil changes only! I DO NOT recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for customer service, they dont have any!

My experience with Lodi Toyota was excellent! I drove to Lodi from Sacramento because I heard the have great customer service and provide great deals. I purchased my brand new Tacoma 2020 and I am very happy with it. Anyone looking to get a deal on a Toyota needs to check out Lodi Toyota.

Never again! Bought a used car w/8400 miles and specifically said I did not want extended warranty because they are a waste of money since they are from a third party company. However the finance lady snuck in a $3000 warranty that I did not ask for nor did she mentioned. I did not figure it out until a few days later. I called and got the run around. On top of that I was supposed to get a card from the road side service with in a few weeks that I unknowingly purchased which never happened.. That road side assistant is A scam. I had 2 incidents and never got help from them and got the run around from them also about receiving a card. Also I had a check engine (misfire) took it to a Chrysler dealership because Toyota of Lodi said they can not look at due to car not being a Toyota and of course the warranty Only covered $11 and I had to pay the rest out of my pocket for diagnostics and fix. Consumers beware of this dealership and Please look at contract especially for used cars before signing them. The warranty they give on used vehicles is NOT from Toyota but a joe blow establishment that is useless. At least the warranty they offer for used cars at this dealership is worthless. WATCH OUT FOR EXTRAS THAT THEY WILL SNEAK IN. ALSO AVOID EXTRA WARRANTY!!!!!!

1- I was looking to purchase a 2019 Camry, they would not try to get the one I wanted, they wanted to sell the ones on inventory. Ended up purchasing at different dealer.2- Wanted to trade in my 2019 Camry for a 2020 Tacoma, when on dealer grounds, no sells person even approached me to ask if I needed help, and again would only sell what they had on inventory. Again ended up purchasing at different dealer.3- I was looking for part for my Tacoma. Several persons on floor that could help or call the right person for help. Waited 20 minutes for someone to show up, the place was nearly empty. Once I told them the part I was looking for, sells person said I cant get it for you. When I tried another dealer they got the part for me.Looks like I cant really on my local Toyota Dealer and have to go somewhere else for good service.

Fantastic SERVICE here I had my whole deal negotiated over the phone (because I live far away) and there was very minimal back and forth and the Salesman Jose was extremely straight forward and no BS like the dealers up in Sacramento. While I did not purchase a Toyota I love the oil change offer they have when you purchase a vehicle. FREE oil changes for like 2 years or something like that but either way great deal in my opinion.

My one star review is not an exaggeration. They are literally this inept. I traded in my ford car for a tacoma, what could go wrong? They never took my name off of the ford i traded in to them. So three months later, i received a letter from ford saying i was behind three months on my payment. My credit dropped 100 points. And they sold my ford within a week of getting it, so they were double dipping at my expensive. I called them several times, every manager seemed to be on vacation ( in the middle of a pandemic?). So i go in person, asking to speak to a manager, everybody i talked to seemed like i was inconveniencing them. The audacity of me, right? And the only solution they were giving me was, “oh just pay it and we will reimburse you”. Yeah, let me just pull out an extra 1,500 on top of the payment for the brand new truck i just bought from you. And the damage to my credit was the bigger issue. Something they still haven’t fixed. Something they don’t feel like they should make right. Don’t shop here. If you do, do everything by email so you have a paper trail incase you have to bring a lawyer into it later. Save yourself the headache. Go to Modesto or stockton, they seemed way more professional. I never written a review before.Edit: since the dealer replied. They are actually blaming me. So it’s my fault my credit was negatively impacted 100 points. I gave them the keys to my trade, i signed on the dotted line and they took my car away from me and it took them 3 months for them to take my name off the trade in all while i was still being billed on the trade in. I never had to babysit a dealership into handling my trade in correctly.

I brought a 2017 Ford Fusion hybrid & I had a such great experience here. My sales guy Dennis was awesome! He worked hard to find me a car in my budget and what I felt comfortable in. I highly recommend to go see Dennis at Lodi Toyota, if your looking to purchase a car. He’s very honest and upfront & doesn’t waste anytime! Such a awesome salesman. Also Cory and his finance team are great! Such a great group of people working there! Best dealership I ever bought a car from. When I’m ready for my next car, I will be going back!! The only thing I was a little sad by was my car that I purchase was given to me with no fuel. I had like 5 miles till empty. UPDATE:I was so happy with the service and my vehicle I took my boyfriend back 3 days later and we purchased a vehicle for him.I couldnt be any happier. Dennis Dow is absolutely amazing. I have been to over 5 dealerships looking for a vehicle. Its been a little over 6 months and everywhere I went told me that I was going to have to have at least $4000.00 down. I wasnt being picky about the vehicle I just needed a car that would get me around and Dennis was able to get me into a 2020 Toyota Corolla with an affordable payment. I was even able to get oil changes for life, gap insurance and an extended warranty.
