They gave me an estimate of $1900 (part + labor) to replace a part on my car. I looked up the car manufacturers website and found that part to cost way less. So I took my car to the dealership and got the same part replaced for $900 (part + labor). The staff was courteous and helpful though.

I brought my truck in for a brake repair. After about a month I noticed that the brakes were not working properly. I returned to Eddies to have them looked at again. The repairs took a week and the charges were much more than I was expecting considering it was not done properly in the first place. The thing that was most infuriating, was that days went by without them contacting me with an update on the work being done. I had to call each day if I wanted to know what the status was. They ultimately got the brakes fixed, but at a price that was WAY TOO much!

I have been using Eddie’s for 20+ years and trust him. With any car, you occasionally get unwanted expenses. Eddie will let you know when they’re necessary. I had a recent leak Eddie could’ve charged me a considerable amount to repair as it required disassembling the transmission. As an older person during the covid 19 crisis it has been imperative that I not go out in public. Eddies has enabled me to do that by picking up my car, changing the oil and checking all components, and then delivering it back to me. I have always received great quality of service at Eddies but this for me was above and beyond. Besides being great for me I would hope it has contributed to Eddies being able to stay in business. I dont typically give out 5 stars, but I will for these guys. Matt, whom Ive talked to just about every time I come buy my oil, is a nice guy and very helpful. I brought my Chevy Silverado in to have the transmission replaced. They were able to fix my truck with relatively low down time and did a great job. I chose them versus the dealership due to cost and would rather spend my money with a local shop than a big chain who would over charge me anyway.I also feel as though, if I had a problem and something wasnt right, they would fix it for me without the hassle you get from most big box places.The guys over here are super nice, and if you want someone you can trust to work on your vehicle, these are the guys to bring it to.

Eddie diagnosed and fixed my car in 1.5 days - after the dealership wasn’t able to do so. My LEXUS has been sounding like a truck for a long time. I was told to get new tires, I did. No change. A couple of hours after leaving my car with Eddie, he called and explained in terms I could understand, exactly what was needed. The next day he called and said she was ready to go and he had given her a test run and all was quiet. When I picked up my car, Eddie said there were a couple of parts he thought he’d have to replace but they were ok. Oh! And the dealership told me I had a small oil leak and told me it would be a few thousand to fix it. Eddie said ‘no leak, not even a seep’. The work needed was well explained. Service was timely and their app notifies you as soon as your vehicle is ready. Eddies has always provided us with excellent service. Weve own several high mileage cars and Eddie has kept a couple of them going well past 200,000 miles.

These guys are awesome. We had a service engine light on for some time. We took it to the dealership and they kept telling us nothing was wrong and just to run gas additive and the problem would go away. It never did. Eddies guys diagnosed it and fixed it the first time. Eddie and Wanda are very personable and enjoy what they do. We will definitely be bringing our other vehicles for service and repair. Prices are good and service is prompt.

I went to Eddies because I have friends that have gone there and frankly, I had a coupon. I was told that the synthetic oil that my car required would be a little more. It cost $50 more. That was quite disappointing. Other than the unanticipated cost, the service was good and timely.

First time there and read many mixed reviews, but most of the bad ones were from years ago. They are working on replacing the transmission and oil gaskets. Matt has been great to work with and keeps me informed. I have been looking for a local repair shop. Will let you know the out come of this repair, but I have a feeling it will be smooth.

We couldnt quite pinpoint exactly what was causing the car to act up, but they worked hard to narrow down some of the options and instead of just guessing and replacing parts that could cost us extra money they helped us come up with a plan to continue working on fixing the vehicle. Reliable vehicle service for a fair price.

I needed two quotes made for an insurance claim. I was honest with Eddie and told him that he may not get the job but either way I was going to need him to do some other work still. He told me he would make the estimate. I called him the next day which was Friday because I forgot to tell him that there is a deadline on getting that estimate faxed in. I call him again Wednesday and he still hasnt gotten to it and tells me hes not going to do it even though he knew it was going to put me in a bad spot. Now I have no time at all to get a second estimate and without one Im going to loose a $3,000 insurance check. THANKS EDDIE!

They deserve no starts at all but i have to click at least one so I can post this ! DO NOT take your car to Eddies Automotive. THEY ARE CLUELESS ABOUT CARS AND UNPROFESSIONAL! I brought my car here last fall; told them it sounded different and was also past due on the 100K maintenance, after waiting for hours I was told it needed an oil change. My car has a need oil change indicator and I follow it religiously, so I KNEW it DIDNT need an oil change but since I wasted half a day waiting I let them do the oil change. I bring the car back about half a year later, I AGAIN tell them its past its 100K maintenance and sounds different. I tell them perhaps I need spark plugs replaced as per the manual or maybe the timing belt needs replaced, not sure; theyre the car experts look at it and let me know. BEFORE I even leave they already tell me it needs an oil change. I say IT DOES NOT, since indicator is not on but they insist we should get the oil changed anyhow since its at 75% percent. I said NO. They call me with a list, needs spark plugs replaced and with that it also needs a fuel injector service, transmission fluid needs to be replaced and so do all brake pads. I say, front brake pads were recently serviced, ( about a yr ago), why do I need them replaced again and how much life is left. He says to me, I DONT KNOW, you just need them all done, the front ones get used more than the back ones. I say since you dont know about the brakes, lets do the spark plugs and fuel injector; he says ok. They call me hours later saying its done but they noticed the car is making an odd noise and upon further inspection they determine it needs a wheel bearing replaced. Finally!! They addressed the noise!! Only they did that AFTER i had them replace spark plugs and do the fuel injector service ( which could have waited !) but now Im out of money !! I tell them not to do it since i used up all my money and they insist IT NEEDS to be done to avoid wheel falling off and a possible car accident. I told them we drove the car PLENTY TIMES with this noise since they saw it last fall, drove it to illinois and to school in Alabama and back to GA many many times. I will gladly drive to diff car place even if i risk wrecking it due to wheel falling off on the way. I take it to Tires Plus and they confirm only back brakes need replaced since the FRONT ONES ARE ALMOST NEW!!! I ALSO LET THEM FIX THE WHEEL BEARING.

The people here wont charge you (much)(if anything) for just giving your car a once-over and its located in this foresty lil nook that kind of makes you forget youre in Lilburn so no complaints there.

I have a 14 year old Subaru WRX with very high miles. I just moved to Liburn, and changing mechanics is VERY stressful! My nextdoor neighbors recommended Eddies. Eddies quoted $525 for a repair and the final bill was $523.19. They brought me home since I had to leave the car, and picked me up when it was done!! Customer Service I thought that ended when I moved away from Canton. THANK YOU Eddie!!! Matt was very patient with me too! They know their Subarus!

To start off with over priced. Not honest. I went there because my grandparents liked them. That is until they charged my granddad 80$ to tell him his gas cap was loose!!??! Ive taken my car there 3 times and every time I get it back either a week later the check engine lights back on or something different is wrong with my car. They literally just worked on it gave me a quote for 1000$ to have a back tail light turned off and got it fixed for 300$ at Jordans Garage. Then something they worked on was under warranty and they charged me to fix that. Currently just got it back and its got a new problem. I want to take it back but there will charge an arm and a leg for their mistake.
