We reserved a truck and appliance dolly in advance for our move. Upon arrival, the appliance dolly was not available. My husband was told that a reservation does not guarantee it will be available. If thats the case, it would be good to know so it can be secured from somewhere that guarantees their reservations. Instead of offering an apology, the employee was a smart Alec, told my husband it was no big deal & wed be able to move the appliance ourselves w/ assistance from others. Actually, IT WAS A BIG DEAL....thats why we reserved the dolly. Thankfully, Home Depot across the street had one available that day. The final U-Haul bill still included a charge for the dolly they did not have available for us.We were also incorrectly charged for fuel usage. Truck was driven a total of 15 miles and gas used was replenished from the gas station approximately 1/2 mile from rental location before we returned it. Despite this, we were charged for 20 miles worth of gas.My husband had to waste his time calling to have these two erroneous charges removed. Supposedly, it will be refunded in 3-5 days.Moving is stressful enough. Rental trucks & appliance dollies are available many other places; I recommend going elsewhere and saving yourself additional stress & from the bad attitude of the employees here. Giving 1-star because they did, indeed, have the actual truck (which, I guess, even that cant be guaranteed). Id rather give a good review of helpful places. Cant do that here.

Staff was friendly and efficient...was done with the whole process in a matter of minutes. Did need to do a digital upload of my driver license thru my phone so dont forget to bring the smart phone with.

The installation of a hitch and lighting assembly on my 2016 Tiguan surpassed my expectations. I appreciate the installer took the time to answer all my questions and review his work. He was very cordial and patient.The supervisor greeted me well and came out and offered my dog treats and water as we waited for the installation. She also gave me a discount on a complete package that was lees expensive than that I had contracted on-line. It wasnt big bucks, but the initiative is very appreciated. I have already referred friends to this site.Oh, lest I forget. The installation package was 50% of a dealer install!

I made a phone appointment for a trailer hitch to be installed via the U-Haul number published online. The person who took the appt. for a month later and gave me a time and price for the work. I confirmed the location and time at the Waverly Rd. location.One month later I drove 30 miles to the U-Haul location and was told that we dont do hitches now and the appointment was no good. She also told me that I must have made my appt. with someone in Phoenix, AZ (online) so that was the problem.There was no Im sorry about your inconvenience nor was there ever a phone call to tell me a hitch couldnt be done at that date. The agent was unconcerned and not the least helpful. Since there are a couple of other local U-Haul hitch locations they could have offered to help me reschedule with one of them. No such luck. She then looked over my shoulder as if to say move along so the next customer can come up to the counter.Poor communication, poor customer service, and a lost customer.

The attendants working at this location are rude. After getting the key, the attendant told me, “Your truck is somewhere over there.” He pointed to the general vicinity and returned inside the store. The other attendant tried to hard sell me on the insurance and was rude and insulting after I declined. Both attendants dress like hoodlums and are covered with tattoos and have multiple body piercings.

Rented a truck. I was sweeping it out and an employee showed up and and said “don’t worry about that I can take care of it.” I said, okay, thanks. A few weeks later I saw an extra charge from Uhaul on my statement for a cleaning fee. I had to fight over the phone with the manager to reverse that charge. Totally shady.

My husband left his wallet in the uhaul on accident and they claim they never found it when we know for a fact they did. We just moved down here and just Wanted our IDs and cards. Thank to you thiefs you have made our life down here a living hell. Keep the 200 that was in there just give us our stuff back.

Used the pickup for an evening. It was ready when I expected, and check-in was quick. This particular one is a new GMC Sierra, and according to staff has a payload capacity of 1,980lbs. Theres a Speedway just up Waverly so you can easily fill up before turning your vehicle in. Easy to see location as well.

So. Started off fine. Talked with Cher, got a quote for $90, set up a time to pick up the truck the following day. A truck and a dolly to carry a vehicle.Jump to the following day. Go to pick up the vehicle and it isn’t ready at the scheduled time, the lady who helped get the vehicle does a burnout in front of me, AND the quote she gave me the prior day is about $30 short of what it actually was.They don’t accept cash as payment, they charge extra for using a CC so they force you to use Debit on sight.They tell me I have until 6AM to drop the vehicle off, immediately start getting texts saying the vehicle is due back in 3 hours.Not at all thrilled about this process.

They charge you with hidden fees . No one told me about any fees. It was my first time renting a uhaul . They make you paid 100.00 and after return the thing they take whatever amount . And liars work there too. It took me four days to get the remainder of my money after I called customer service and asked when I will be getting my money bc the guy at the store told me I would be getting my money back right away. I had to complain about them charging me for the use of the dolly that I never used and some other fee I wasn’t aware of. So today I get my refund and it’s not even the amount I was supposed to get it was short. So once again I called them and not very friendly folks.Unhappy customer

Wonderful service while renting a 6x12 utility trailer. Had some wiring issues on my end of the truck, and the two gentlemen working fixed it free of charge.

Do not recommend. Go to Penske instead. When we arrived to pick up the truck we reserved 2 weeks ahead of time, we were informed it was not available. The guarantee means nothing. No phone call ahead so we wasted precious time on our move day.

I rented a truck and 5 minutes into having it, I saw that during my inspection I missed a dent on the tailgate. When I returned the truck, I got charged a $150 deductible for the dent I didnt make. Staff was no help - one of the guys from the back was even heckling from the side as I tried to talk to the receptionist. Then I spoke to the manager and suggested they check the trucks more carefully so future customers dont get stuck with the bill like me. She said there was no way they could check them any closer than they already do. Right. Dont assume they are checking the trucks closely, or even honestly, when you pick them up - I did and paid for it.

Terrible customer service from the owner / manager. They like to hit you with hidden fees after you return their equipment. Worst experience I’ve had with uhaul. Do not go to this location; go to another one. Manager has no idea what they are doing and doesn’t care.

Friendly, but could use more training. Vehicle was very clean and the air was cranking (thank goodness, as it was unbelievable hot that day). Had zero issues.

We found live cockroaches in our uhaul not until after we got all of our boxes in and moved so cockroaches were all over our stuff. Absoulety disgusting!!

I havent had to rent a U-Haul in forever, but this is an awesome place to fill up your propane tank for your grill! It is WAY cheaper than exchanging it at a gas station and you get more propane. Once I found out you could fill a propane tank here, I havent gone anywhere else!!But if you want to know about their U-Haul rentals, youll have to look at another review. #propane #sorrynotsorry

Worse experience ever! None of the credit card machine works and bad customer service do not go there

Service here is incredibly slow. They don’t properly staff on Saturdays. Picked up a 10ft truck at 7am, returned at 9:25am (on a Saturday). They only had 2 employees working, when they told me the day before that all of their trucks were reserved on Saturday (ie they knew they were going to get hit hard). No one was stationed at the truck return to process returns. They had a line of 11 customers inside. I was told to “get in line”. It took 10 min for each employee to process a single customer pick-up. I finally told them I wasn’t waiting in a line that was clearly going to take an hour. Just email me my final bill.

They really need to hire more employees. I went to fill my propane and they told me to wait 30 minuets because there are not enough employees to help me. Whenever i go to theres a line and minimum of 30 mins wait. Poor service.

I stored my Mercedes CL65 ///AMG here for three years. Never had an issue. Personnel have always been very helpful whenever I needed anything. I recommend this location wholeheartedly.

Needed sevrel trucks sevral times and they had them and it was all good

I was disgusted with one of the people I interacted with. I had a question about the charges and he rolled his eyes and said, Oh, its going to be one of those days. He wasnt willing to help me figure it out and I had to find someone else who worked there to explain it to me.I was also frustrated because I picked it up at 5 pm and told that I had to bring it back by 9 am the next day. I looked at my contract when I got home and realized that I was paying for the 24 hour rate (in the fine print). I have no idea why I was misled. It was printed on the top of my contract.

The vehicle was filthy, the outbound mileage was incorrect and the staff was incompetent. The staff needs more training on customer service;especially the assistant manager. The staff needs to own up to their mistakes and not expect the customers to pay more because they screwed up. If you rent from them, check every thing with a fine tooth comb.

Quickly obtained a climate controlled storage room. This location is close to the highway which was important.

Was waiting in line for a long time while one employee just sat there giving dirty looks, spinning in her chair while one man was helping everyone else. Besides the wait time and air in the truck being broken (it was 88 degrees) we had a very nice experience

AFTER ALL THIS HAPPENED THEY WOULDNT EVEN GIVE ME A DISCOUNT!!!!HOW DO YOU RENT A TRUCK WITH A STOLEN LICENSE PLATE TO A CUSTOMER, HAVE PEOPLE COME TO THEIR HOUSE HARASSING THEM AND THEN STILL CHARGE FULL PRICE?

Manager Michelle is awesome, always helpful and fry. All staff tried hard to help.

You call these people to make sure they have something then when you get there after making a long trip they tell you they dont have it. Well what did I call for then?

Poor selection of hitches. The staff had little knowledge and could stand to to learn how to treat customers politely.

I rented a waterbed pump from here. As soon as I got home and plugged it in it shorted out. it also shorted out my air filter unit that was plugged In the same room.
