BEWARE! I had a slow leak on my 20 GMC truck tire.I asked Asst. Mgr. Tanner if he could inspect/repair and how much would he charge? Tanner assured me that he would pull the tire and inspect, repair or patch the tire and remount for free! I waited about an hour to get worked in as they were very busy and once the tire was off and inspected the technician told me it had a plug in it that was leaking and that it could not be repaired? Technician said Discount Tire could only put my 18 spare tire on. Their concern was for my safety and any liability should they remount my 20 tire?I was now stuck with a free repair/patch turned into, youll need a new tire! Tanner brought me inside and offered me a discounted price on an new tire ($209) and said he would order it for me should I decide to purchase. I told Tanner I was going to take it to my GMC dealership and have it repaired, KelleyBuickGMC.com. Tire plug was located in the center of the tire well within the Tire Industry Repair Standards.The only way to properly repair a tire is to demount it from the rim so it can inspected on the inside, remove the damaged material, fill the void with rubber, and seal the inner liner with a repair unit.KelleyBuickGMC pulled plug, patched hole from inside, remounted tire and stowed my spare and ONLY charged me $25. Technician said that Discount Tire was just trying to sell me a tire! No thank you!Dont fall for the Free Tire Inspection at Discount Tire! BEWARE!

Employees were very polite, easy to talk to and seemed to understand what they were talking about, but thats all.Went tonight to drop 2 2013 mustang GT wheels off to get new tires mounted. Century uhp 235/50r18 tires. I have 2 more of those wheels with those tires installed by that exact store. Spent 1 hour waiting all to get told we couldnt seat the bead on either wheel. We even tried a more expensive tire and it didnt work.its the lip in the wheels. And then proceeded multiple times to get me to buy new wheels. I told him Everytime, I like my wheels the way they are. 18 chrome BBS style mustang wheels. Not like I had cheap wheels that were tore up.They did refund the installation charge as I took the tires and wheels to install myself. So I was happy with that.Took 5 minutes to get the beads to seat once I got home. How can you claim to be a professional tire shop if someone with a $2 can of starting fluid can get it done in 5 minutes and someone with thousands of dollars in equipment to specifically do that job takes a hour and cant complete it?Looks to me that someone needs to review their skills on anything other than a truck tire

The people are so friendly and fixed my car without trying to upsell me like other repair shops. they were very kind and prompt, kept me updated on how long of a wait id have.

I’ve never had better service than what I experienced today. Called earlier in the week and asked how busy Saturday usually is. He told me it’s usually very busy but it’s first come first serve. We showed up at 7:30 and were the first ones there. By the time the doors opened at 8 there were 15 people standing at the door. When they opened, they walked past everyone else and straight toward us since we were the first ones there. I loved that they honored the first come first serve basis. With a full service of 4 new tires, they even put our spare tire back under the truck for us and patched our old tire for free. It only took 45 minutes. I want to thank A.J and his team for being so thorough and careful with our vehicle. Looking forward to buying my next set of tires through y’all. Keep up the great work!

Only 3 stars due to the price of tires being affordable. But if you dont have an appointment dont bother bringing your car for new tires. Even if you get here before they open youll be waiting hours. Im going on 3 hours now after being told my car would be done in 2.

They were very busy today dropped off my dodge caravan by tow truck and was informed about 6 hrs. To get a tire put on. They are priced usually most inexpensive in the area. Great service and warranty, techs are friendly and good at their jobs.. Plenty of parking wheelchair accessible. Again picked up a bolt in driver side front sidewall and paid 139.10 for a 225 65r 17 in. Balanced and mounted.

I replaced all 4 of my tires 2 weeks ago. They only had 2 tires with exact fit, so they gave me an upgrade on Khumo tires with a wider tire to give it the same size. Today, I went back b/c the tires were in warranty package, had a big screw in corner of tire. They gave me a used tire until my size comes in from Texas to Florida. Well let me start out by saying, I have always given Discount Tires high praise for their Customer service, dependability and good pricing. This visit was the first time I have ever had a issue with dependability and customer service. The issue was resolved, I will not go into details, but there was no Customer Service recovery offered. I kind of felt that since the delay was their fault, a little compensation would have been appreciated.But anyhow, once the tire I needed got to the store I was called to come pick it up and everything was fine.The team are really a good bunch of guys and I kind of took it out on them because a whole day was lost on my part. I can not blame them for me having a bad day, I know delays happen.So I give them yet another 5 star rating just for continuing to be professional.

Forced me to use a debit card instead of credit card for the purchase of tires because they were afraid I’d charge back. They claim it’s a regular thing people do but it created an uneasy vibe in the air. There’s plenty of ways they could mitigate charge backs and there was no sign saying they don’t allow credit cards. I’ve used credit cards at discount tires in the past with no issues. Would not recommend

Parker in customer service along with Chris and his guys went above and beyond customer service to help me find and install the Nitto Ridge Grappler I wanted for my truck. Once locating them in Texas they had them sent to then Lakeland store for me. Then after getting into the install on my truck. They located a very unsafe problem with the 2 piece spacer/lug adapters on my truck. They were coming apart and I already had a lug broken off. Talk about thankful. I drive my grandkids and other family members in my truck...this could have been a disaster. We discussed the best option for me and decided to install new rims also. Because the lug adapters were for 6 lug to 8 lug wheels. Thus, my old rims wouldn’t work without the dangerous adapters. I was so appreciative to Chris and the rest of his team I had lunch sent to them. I hope you guys enjoyed it!!

He was very polite, professional and a pleasure to work with.20 minutes later, Eileen and I were back on the road, with a totally free replacement tire.Through the years, Ive purchased many tires from Discount Tires in Belton, Missouri and have ALWAYS been totally satisfied and happy with them.Discount Tires is an awesome place to purchase tires. I took my car in for a tire rotation. I took my dog inside, gave her a few treats and settled her down. I barely started to play with my phone when a young man asked for the owner of a red, cherokee. I raised my hand, he came over and handed me my receipt for the free tire rotation.I hardly had time to get started playing with my phone.My car had been taken in, tires rotated and ready to leave in 30 minutes. I couldnt ask for better service. Niven assured me that there was nothing wrong with my car/wheels/tires.

Ive been there this past weekend, and was impressed by the professionalism of the team. I went to the dealership to check a tire with a nail on it, and the dealership told me I would have to get new tires. I left the dealership and went straight to Discount Tires, and they fixed it for free!

Extremely disappointed! Purchased a $1200 set of tires in Monroe, NC about 4 weeks ago. They talked me into buying the warranty with the tires and they assured me any Discount Tire would provide me service if I had any issues. So, my passenger rear is leaking down and I came to the store in Lakeland, FL to get it checked. Well....We can try to work you in but it could be as late as 4pm before we can get to you Wth? They have 1 truck in their bays! Whats the use of buying the warranty if you have to go elsewhere to get a repair? Great marketing scheme Discount Tire!

Wish I would of purchased tires somewhere else this place is a joke Ive been 3 times now trying to get my flat fixed last time I was in they put 1 of my tires on backwards so now im riding around on a bad riding flat tire with white letters sticking out while my others have black letters and each time Ive gone its been a estimated wait time of 3 + hours definitely shopping else where next time

Came in to buy 2 new tires and was informed that my wheels were improperly sized for my make and model car- not only did Shaun, Jeff, and Ben give me a great deal on 4 new wheels plus 2 tires, they did it in such a friendly and timely manner I still cant believe it! Despite this being the closest store to Tampa I will never hesitate to make the drive to get incredible service at a competitive price for half the time spent waiting at any other place.

Ive always had a great experience with discount tires and I know it can get busy or a staff member is just not motivated that day. But when a customer is willing to spend almost a $1000 at your establishment for tires, they would like to be taken care of. So I called to order tires and make an appt great done. When I showed up there was no tires and no appt set. Im very disappointed!!!! I hate having to look for a new shop now.

Amazing service!I moved here from Texas. I had purchased discount tires in Texas & they had told me tires were covered at all locations in the country but I completely forgot that.My tire light has been on for 3 days even though tires dont look low. So I googled tire shops & this store showed up. On the same day I got a discount tire email reminding me that it was time to check my tire pressure. So I drove up here 15 minutes before closing time with no appointment & they took me in right away. They found my account with my phone number. Before I could settle in the chair in the waiting area, I got a text saying my car was ready 😮Technician explained that there was a small nail in the tire. I was going to go outside to get in my car & he said You can go thru the shop. I dont want to have to walk in the rain. ❤️ Even though I was wearing a rain jacket. How utterly amazing, polite, & efficient service! Where have they been all my tife? Why havent I always bought tires from them?Compare this to my review of Les Schwab tire stores who lied, cheated & fleeced me when I was stranded in the mountains of Eastern Washington. Never again will I ever trust a Les Schwab store. Their central office wouldnt do a thing to help me 😡

This location does not honor service vouchers received from other Discount Tire locations. I bought a set of tires from another location and free maintenence was included. I was told I could go to any other location for basic service. When I called this location they said I had to go 25 miles away to another location that closes in 15mins. Thank God I could fix my tires myself or Id have been stranded for 2 days till I could get help. Im buying tires from somewhere else once the time comes, I suggest you all do the same and steer clear from this place.

I go out of my way from Riverview to this location because I like how they do business, no sneaky fees and they never feel like theyre trying to weasel more money out of me.

Rarely am I this impressed with a business.Chris, David, and Autumn are the staff members I interacted with, and all 3 were helpful and kind!And a huge bonus, is how affordable my tires were. Before coming to Discount Tire, I had called three other companies in the Lakeland area. Discount Tire was not only the most helpful over the phone, but had the best prices. As soon as I pulled up, they greeted me outside and took my car right back. It was done within an hour! They’ve definitely made a lifelong customer out of me! Couldn’t be happier with my experience.

I Went in and wanted to get new mud tires for my jeep. I was greeted by John and ended up having an employee with an attitude. Sometimes these things happen, but john quickly got the manager chris involved took the employee away and replaced with one with good attitude, tires went on woth zero issues thanks discount lakeland highly recomend!!
