While we were shopping for a folding camp chair, an employee named Frank approached us and told us we could not touch the chairs, put them on the floor, or sit in them or anything. I asked him how am I supposed to know if its comfortable or the one I want? Take it out into the parking lot after you purchase it and if you dont like it take it to customer service and return it. Immensely rude and completely contrary to shopping at brick-and-mortar. If I want to guess if something is what I want, Ill buy it online. Frank wears a lot of flair and apparently oversees that department in some small way. I told him there are a number of chairs that were opened and not put back in their little gunny sacks. He said yes, they used to have a sign. I said what happened to it? He said customers keep ripping it down. I wonder why?

Holy cow! This Walmart is massive! I couldnt believe how big it is. Very department was filled with a sufficient variety of products which was great. The staff were helpful when I had questions, and honestly I was surprised at the level of service that was provided. Their Crayola display pictured really made my day. Bravo.

The pickup department at this location is great. The customer service I’ve gotten from employees inside the store hasn’t been the most pleasant, they’ve made me feel like I’m bothering them when I ask for assistance. On top of that, I’ve been on the phone re dialing for an hour to speak so someone about returning a mountain bike.. if I have to load it up, drive there and unload it only for them to tell me I can’t.. I am going to be livid!

Good Prices and Fresh fruit/veggies ... However, No one Ever answers when you try and speak with an associate. Also, the Auto Center NEVER answers.... First time at the Auto Center, an associate told me it would take 3 to 4 hours to install 4 tires. She continued to state how the employees called out, and the next one is supposed to be in at 10, but, who knows if hes gonna show up.... Mind you,.... I had scheduled an appointment for 10am. 3 guys were on break while 1 associate worked. A few days later, I scheduled an appointment for 8am... The same thing, this time.... No one is back here and there are 5 cars here waiting to be serviced. Again, staff tells customers they called out and the next scheduled person is scheduled at 10am to come in, but, I dont know if theyll come in for their shift either!

This place is ok I guess. If you go early like when it first opens its not too bad. If youre shopping for just a few things then self checkout is your best bet. They usually only have one cashier and the line is long. So if I need a bunch of things I go early or just do pick up

Unfortunately this Walmart has slowly gone into the abyss. Customer service is terrible here. Getting out of the store is a real challenge when they usually have all but two or three cashiers open, lines rediculously long and the self check out is well, worse. If you dont have to go there dont, spend a few more pennies and go elsewhere. Sorry Walmart much improvements needed staring with hiring Cashiers and stop relying in AI...Your killing the customer experience.

I ordered tires on the Walmart app and requested to have them delivered at the La Quinta store, BIG mistake. The order status kept showing Processing Order on the app. When I contacted Walmart.com support, I was told to call the local store. After 3 phone call attempts (because nobody answers the phone), I found out the tires were just sitting in the store for 5-days. So I went there to have them installed. I pulled up to the garage and walked in. While waiting for help, a service tech opens the door and starts yelling that I need to move my car and that I should have read the sign where to park my car.After doing the paperwork, I was told they would call me when my car was done. I was told the auto department closes as 7 PM. Since they didnt call, I showed up at 6:45, noticed my car was the only one sitting in the side parking lot and the auto center was completely closed.I went around and went to the front customer service area. It was 6:55 when I walked up to the counter. The employee said this area is closed now. I said you still have 5-minutes. She then said well then, Im on lunch and walked away.The only savior to this mess was an employee who stepped in and helped me out. She walked us back to the auto department and took care of the paperwork and got us on our way.The root cause of this problem seems to be a lack of leadership. This store needs some serious direction. Employees are only as good as their leaders. The chaos, lack of communication, unmotivated employees, reactive instead of being proactive are all a result of management.

I am truly impressed with their growth & diversity of merchandise from home improvement to beauty and fashion.. (yes, I said fashion :)! Walmart is out with the old and in with the new, and Im loving it!😁

Every time I want to find some thing they have it. They are very huge and very fast, that’s all you need from Walmart. Absolutely everything is for sale and I will return there, because everyone needs milk or eggs or something.

I was impressed! Went to look for a bicycle tube and their bicycle department is well stocked. Found what I neede with multiple choices to select from. Well organized and plenty inventory. Assistance is available fast! And as Walmart, always quality at the best prices!

Never have I ever been accused of stealing especially for some limes. Went to the self check out bought green bell peppers along with other items and the cashier self checkout attendant rudely approached my wife and I and asked us to remove items from our bags because she said they were not accounted for on her computer after scanning them. Come to find out they were green bell peppers that had already been scanned. I understand that there are protocols and checking items are necessary I dont get why she would mistakenly asking about limes when were clearly buying a $79 blender we were overcharged for. We were too upset to talk to management about the over pricing so we just left. Not too sure Ill be coming to this Wal Mart ever again.

I had a horrible experience at LQ Walmart yesterday. I wanted to purchase something that was in. Locked cabinet. I pushed the button several times over the course of the 15 plus minutes I was waiting. I asked an employee and he said he’d go find someone with a key, and never came back. Same thing happened again with another employee. Never came back. Finally an employee came and also needed to get something out of that display so she TOO pushed the button and waited for a while. Then left saying she’d go try to find someone.. FINALLY an employee came with the key and asked what I wanted and I showed her and mentioned the experience I had for the last 15 plus min. She pointed to the button and said “ that’s why we have this button to push” omg!!! I couldn’t believe she would talk to a customer like that! I said back to her “ I did ouch the button many many times and actual an employee did too! And then that employee came back to get what she needed. And confirmed what I said. I will NEVER shop at LQ Walmart again!!

Placed an order online and realized it was pick up only. Drove hour and a half to get item. Pulled up, text my space number, person shows up in 30 seconds, brings item in minutes, I drive away. Literally was amazing how great it was!

Tech department is always friendly and try their hardest to accommodate your needs. Friendly staff, but they do sometimes take a while to get you help. Overall however, a great place

I drove here from a couple cities over because the website said they had something I needed in stock. The parking lot had so many shopping carts scattered everywhere around it, so I had to park in the way back of the lot. I get inside, only to find an empty shelf where the in stock part I needed was supposed to be. I finally located an employee to ask, only to be told If it aint there its out of stock bro. The website dont update dat fast. I should have known not to expect anything but a bad experience with Walmart.

I made an appointment and inquired about mounting tires. All was okay. They got my van on the lift and said the lift couldn’t withstand the weight of my van. A. YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW MUCH WEIGHT YOUR LIFTS CAN HANDLE AND ABIDE!!! B. YOU PUT MY VAN AND YOUR EMPLOYEES AT RISK OF HARM. C. I waited 1.5 weeks for this appointment. You wasted my valuable time, took the 1.5 hours to figure this out.

This super center has tons of good name brands for household items and even outdoor items plus their automotive section helps out too with quick items. And their electronic section is also nice and online pick up is available here.

Every time weve been here, the staff is rude. Today in particular the guy working in electronics was very rude when we asked for help locating something in his department. Also, their online inventory never matches whats actually in store.

The only problem with Walmart lately is they dont have enough people at the check stands and in the people they do are very incompetent many of them dont even speak English

They have a very helpful Pharmacy staff. Also a good selection of groceries. Have an RV, you are welcome to stay the night, just shop in the morning, and dont leave trash when you leave.

Worst customer service Ive ever witnessed. Yaznia treated me like trash, was more worried about getting me out of the store then what I came to pick up. The person on the phone (Liz) told me to speak to someone at customer service but when I came in it was closed. The cashier couldnt get me a manager said that I would have to wait until one passed by. The pickup station is a mess, it needs to be replaced or better thought out. Out of 5 employees the only one that seemed to care was the gentleman at the entrance. How do you run stores where the customer cant even get the things they ordered?

I cant be the only one who hates these locked cabinets! Saw an employee walked by and asked him to unlock it for me but he just said did you press the button already? And walked away... I was helped 15 minutes later after asking an older (in his 40s or 50s) worker who asked some1 else to help me.

This store has very caring workers that ask if they can help you and stock shelf are organized all products ez too find with reading labels floors clean you can get everything you need there great store its my # 1 place to go!

Great help! The manager, Eddie and associate Nicanor were extremely helpful when buying a large quantity of water. Helped move and load it all! That is how customer service is done!

The service in the electronics department with your mobile phone staff has been Superior! during this virus it has been difficult to get phones especially when homeless... The employees went out of their way to contact the major phone carriers to accomplish everything that I could not!

My car battery was on the fritz, and after checking it out, it was about 2.25 yrs old. I was in Palm Springs Walmart after my wifes doctors appointment, just before 6pm and they said they werent servicing any more cars today. I drove across town to drop off my wife at home, pick up some tools and head to the La Quinta location. Dylan there said he would exchange it for me if it had a warranty, but couldnt write it up or do the work. Which is what I anticipated and wanted to do. Dylan really went the extra effort of testing my battery to make sure it was bad before I took it out, verified the warranty, and made sure he had a replacement in stock. Dylan even took out athe retaining bolt I forgot the right socket for. I know these guys arent the best paid, or most respected in their field, but these guys, and especially Dylan were extremely helpful, and were glad to provide great customer service.

Consistently the worst customer service of Walmarts! Knowingly selling defective products not willing to refund. Managers willingness to help customers on a scale of 1 to 10 would be 1. I was told try different Walmart down I-10 or come back on a later date.

My $500 dollar saw was chained in the back of my truck. Someone cut the chain and stole my saw with an employee sitting on a stool by the front door, I was parked 2 stalls away. When I brought it to the managers attention she acted very rude and like I was bothering her.

We went to buy bird seed and a few groceries This is the only store where I can find coconut milk.

Walmart service is terrible, I was there for the first time and waited more than 40 minutes on line and 10 people behind me and left my 🛒 with all the groceries and I really was very mad, the managers dont care therefore that is the worst store I ever had been, I will never recommend anyone to buy at that store, no wonder their stocks are going down since the beginning of the year, they need to pay attention to their customers.

Shopping was great. Very disappointed that I was trying to get an answer to a question I had in returning merchandise. Could it be returned to a closer store to me. Both LaQuinta & Palm Springs failed to answer their phones as they continued to ring forever. Tried both stores twice between 9:40 & 9:55.

Rafael and Mario in the Tire Lube Express are wonderful! They went above and beyond this morning helping me find tires that fit both my truck and my budget. After a long morning of torn tires, tow trucks, and tears, these gentlemen helped me and made sure I was well taken care of. Thank you Rafael and Mario! Update ...oh my goodness. I needed 2 cans of paint. I knew exactly what I wanted but it was in a locked glass cabinet. I asked 3 different associates to help me but none had a key and each assured me they would send someone to help. After 20 minutes and those 3 associates, I decided to call the store. On hold for 10 minutes and gave up. If I had not already painted with this product and needed the same color I would have left. If I could give ZERO stars I would.Would be 5 stars if not for fact that they did not have any indication on external doors that only one set of doors were open for entry and exit. We parked in Handicapped at one end of the parking lot only to put forth the effort to walked to the doors and learn that we had to enter at doors about 125 feet away...not easy with a person that has mobility issues.

Was terrible. Went to get perfume. No key. How do you sell it with no key. Shelves not stocked. Only one nice floor person. Had to stop him by blocking him with my cart. He was very nice. Slow checkers. A friend had waited in a long line and when it was her turn the lady said she was closed. Earlier she told her the line would end after her. The whole experience sucked.

You may pretty much sign what you need at Walmart may not be the quality we desire but pinning on the amount that you may spend it will probably help you but of course you can always find quality elsewhere
