Great prices with the discount card. Always use it or its crazy expensive. Sometimes they have really low prices. Check Wednesday sale papers.

Love the self checkout experience. Michael is always SO kind about any issues with it, and is quick to help with any problem. Their attitude is awesome, and Kroger should be proud to have them as an associate!

Two days in a row Ive tried to come here for lunch at their deli. Both days they have had just a few breasts and wings. Nothing down cooking, no care either. I dont know why they would offer anything at all if they are just going from put a few pieces and quit at lunch time. Its irritating, will take my shopping to another popular grocery chain in the area from now on.

Selection was good but the self checkout machines are very futzy.

Five stars for the young fellow with the long hair at the self checkout. He is always so upbeat and positive. And very attentive to the customers. I hope he is being compensated for his excellent customer service skills.

The big fat dude that works there was standing guard at the doors is refusing to let people inside at 10:40. That’s garbage. They don’t even close until 11 PM! If anyone has the contact information for the Kingsport Kroger corporate, it would be greatly appreciated.

They constantly close before theyre supposed to. They used to be 24/7 and would constantly shutdown at 11 or midnight for restocking or doing floors or something. So they changed the time to close at 11 so they would be consistent and dependable. Somehow the problem still exist. Whether theyre doing the floors, stocking, or the bug man is there. I thought thats why they close at 11. If you need to be there anytime later than 9, forget it. They always need to close early. Do not depend on this store. Not to mention the stocking is usually terrible anyways.

OK I came from a town where that had both nice Dillons and not so nice (Dillons is a Kroger brand), We called the not so nice ones, Dirty Dillons. The Kroger in Kingsport is an embarrassment, beyond dirty. It does have great staff who deserve a better store, as do the people who reluctantly spend their money there. Kroger dont milk this location, put some money back in and you will get a return, the market is looking for a competitive priced store that is clean.

A lot of elderly out today. That is a good sign. Always enjoyed Kroger employees. Thats why I shop at krogers in most states.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT order groceries through them. They dont give you the option to not allow substitutions so they send you whatever they want without having to notify you and wont take it back or refund your order. They dont care that youve had to waste your money and cant use it. They tell you oh well donate it but youre out of luck as far as them fixing the problem. I get to throw out my last $50 worth of food and cant feed the kids dinner smh.

Get your rotten lemons, and oranges at this Kroger slop house. This is poor management!!.Guess their trying to make people sick. Told an associate but he acted like he didnt know anything.No management on shift at 930 at night to speak with. I guess they dont think things happen at night.Ill go elsewhere for fries and veggies. This store really lacks in management/ customer service.

When did it become your store policy to stop letting customers in before 11PM? Your employee Tyler was blocking the doors with his body and turning customers away at 10:40PM. We were not given a reason why. This policy is not posted anywhere in the store or online. Tyler said “last time we let people in here before closing time, we had to call the cops because they wouldn’t leave.” Most stores close when the last customer checks out, not at the exact closing time on the dot. This is very disappointing. The store is also disgusting all the time, and the pharmacy employees are disgruntled and rude. Fix it!

I am disappointed with this Kroger. I can barely find anything all the time. Today is Monday and they had no cat food,no chicken, no water, no peppers and no smoked sausage that I wanted. How are you out of stock???

I moved my prescription to Kroger because there is a significant cost savings to do so. Yet, every month there has been issues with refills, including giving my medicine with my personal info to another customer. It was only discovered when that customer returned it. Every month there have been delays. This time, I set up the refill on the app on Tuesday. The app said it would be ready that day, then Thursday. It has been “in progress” since Thursday. I finally called and they said they didn’t know why it hadn’t been filled and but would do so immediately. I would move the prescription if it weren’t such a huge price difference.

Kroger had been around for a long time and I dont see it being any other way

Wide variety of groceries. They havegreat sale prices and the selectionof produce is very good. The storeis always clean and the employeesare helpful . All- around a goodplace to shop. Only downside issometime the seafood dept has astrong smell.

I was shocked by the number of people and families shopping without masks. People without masks kept getting too close to us when we were checking out and paying. I wish the employees would have helped; we kept asking the people behind us in line to please stay back a few feet from us while we paid, but they would not. I was really disappointed.

Pick up terrible for elderly. When you call number to bring groceries. You have to send text. You dont talk to anyone. For are elderly very stressful they end up walking in. In-laws and parents are going to discontinue using kroger for this reason

Shopping for groceries there was some really good employees Shelly as cashier and bagger was Megan very to good workers. The reason my shopping experience was bad because to employees had called me “Fat” I called and spoke with managements and corporate got told it will be handle the the two employees names was Ethan and Joe. Even if the was joking they should have said what they said. I told both boys that I’m not fat; I’m pregnant and they don’t need to be saying anything like that to a customer! Was very upset. I will not be back to shop at The Kroger in Kingsport again!!

Grocery pickup started out as a good idea. The last month or so it has been horrible. We have received vegetables bordering on rotten, bad milk (twice), substitutes which made no sense whatsoever. The next bad pickup and we are going to Food City.

Just went to this location with my mom, and after rushing through our entire shopping list just to make sure she could get a bottle of wine before 11 for a dinner tomorrow, a Sunday where wine is not sold, we are told that there is no one on staff that is certified to sell alcohol in any form. I understand that this in not the employees fault, and the ONLY reason this store is getting above one star is because of how extremely nice the employee interacting with us was. This is clearly an issue with management, and I think its ridiculous that there is not a manager in the store during all operating hours. Ive been loyal to Kroger for a long time, but Ive had a lot of issues with it over the past few months. Kroger was a convenient location, but I think Ill be taking my business to Food City instead.

If you like a nasty, sloppy grocery store, you’ll love this horrible place. Without a doubt this is the nastiest grocery store in the Tri-Cities. Kroger should seriously consider changes in management at this place. It’s a disgrace to the Kroger brand.

Great selection and good prices. I really like seeing the regulars that have been there for years. The bakery staff is so very professional and so talented. They have a great variety of products and I really like the pumpkin roll with cream cheese...the best.

They have a GREAT meat department, and the employees are awesome, it seems like theyre always having fun, and enjoy their jobs. I just wish people would stop parking in the fire lane. Theyre always blocking something, and impeding traffic. We all wanna get in and out, or are waiting for someone to come out, but you can park and watch for them to come out. I do it all the time when my husband runs in. 👍

Great meat department with easy to navigate WIDE clean aisles, well marked items as a full service old fashioned competitively priced grocer.You go to the grocery store for food, not soft and hard goods. Krogers maintains good depth and breadth while offering their own delicious house brand!

Our go to supermarket along with Food City. They do need to cut steaks to a consistent thickness. By selecting carefully we can usually bypass this problem though. The steaks are normally tender and tasty. Great vegetables. Friendly atmosphere.

I bought granny Smith apples at 2.49lb and they were rotton in middle. Quality not good anymore. Maybe why they are losing business. Not enough cashiers only 3 isles open its getting worse. I think I will start going to food city produce is better.

Prices have went down on many of their items. They are becoming competitive with other stores now. Lots of good variety, fresh produce, and a wide range of their own store brand.

I stopped got fresh seafood as fresh as we can expect in the mountains.. but the meat Dept employee was kind and able to hit the weight mark every time! Friendly and helpful.

The Pharmacy experience at the Stone Drive Store is totally unacceptable. Scripts are taking days to fill. Latest experience...Thursdays order, 4 days later Monday called and hung up on. Dont bother with this hassle. Give Walmart, Walgreens, etc. a try.

Favorite grocer in the area. I like their prices and the atmosphere. Way more low key than Walmart or Food City. Get the Kroger app. You will save a fair amount of money. They have a lot of incentives to shop there, very good service and overall happy employees. They are also 24/7 if you really want to avoid people like I do.

This store was redesigned a few years ago and is the most confusing plase to try to shop. Even the employees have admitted that it is hard to find anything here. I love Kroger but I avoid this one like the plague. Finding an employee on the floor who isnt at the register is a near impossibility!

This is my main grocery store and for a stay-at-home mom of three believe me Im there quite a bit. The store is always clean, organized, and the staff go beyond the norm to make sure you find everything you need. Ive always had a very positive shopping experience at this location and that cannot always be said for other stores. I highly recommend taking advantage of their value cards as well because it actually does help save money.

Was early morning visit. Cashier was having trouble with a large sale item. Went to self checkout since it looked like it would take awhile. The self check out clerk went to cashier who was having a problem with sale. After she helped her, she bagged groceries for her. I kept saying excuse me. Customer service needs improves. Staff was not very friendly almost just rude.....also WATCH YOUR CHARGES they took an extra $100 out of our account from chime . So now were out $100 bucks for their stupidity. Me I will NEVER BE BACK. We bought a 24 pack of Pepsi . They charged us $109 .

Has some great buys but the new program for ordering and picking up groceries has eliminated many of the handicap parking spaces. So much so that I doubt ADA compliance.

Went shopping yesterday with my child and another family member. And they was a problem with a WIC item not been been approved but no fault to the store. WIC has made changes and others has been having same issues but great store, and they even was the ones that noticed the issue and took care of it themselves. Very good cashier worker and great management to have their backs. This store I seen team-work in mins. and even this still wasnt in a line .

Kroger is my store of choice. Its Monday evening and the store has not been restocked from the weekend. Checkers giggled and joked with each other while checking customers out. Layout of this location could use improvement but Kroger is still the best of the Grocery chains. Prices and selection cant be beat and they have the best store brands, by far.

This Kroger was ok. I am use to the Knoxville TN Kroger so I was a little disappointed by the size and selection at this one. Mainly the meat department. I drove about 45 mins to shop at Kroger rather than other grocery stores within minutes of my home because I love the Knoxville Kroger and expected this one to be similar but it was disappointing.

Love shopping at Krogers! The only thing I am disappointed in this Krogers is I cant get Krogers Acidophilus Milk at this one. I have to shop at a Krogers 45-50 miles away to purchase it.

I used to like the place until tonight.. I called to ask if they cash western money orders and how late they were open. They told me yes and they were open til 9. This was at 530 so i left work went to kroger at 615 the service desk was closed and the lady told me that they wouldnt cash my mobey order because they were short staffed. I proceed to ask her why a lady told me they could and were open til 9 at the money desk and showed her were i called. She told mebshe didnt know i asked for a manager and she tell me theres no manager on duty.. I had to talk to the self checkout lady so obviously she wasnt not wanting to do anything but stand there. Sad!!
