One of my favorite dollar stores. You know there is one on every corner now. They really should pay their hard working employees better, because they are so nice and work very hard.

Great place, kind staff. Staff is willing to help you look for an item or get it down from the high shelves. Very appreciative since I am short.

Cashiers have always been very friendly at this particular store. Well stocked store. Its older, but has most everything the newer ones do.

The supervisor of this store literally makes you feel so at home and is so helpful that you will go here everyday!

They have a little bit of everything you need to its easy to get in and out and the people are friendly

As long as you go to the one in Big Stone Gap or the Dryden or the stickleyville store you can get quite a things and great deals. The one that is in Duffield youre not going to find much anything in the shelves plus you have to walk around and even shop around the stacks of merchandise they throw in the wheel basket for restocking purposes. Youre going to have a lot to choose from in the seasonal items and the regular stuff. I love looking at the newest things that come out and I enjoy the price range on every thing. Theyre always upbeat and helpful and very friendly to the customers. Way to go and thanks for making our shopping experience nice.The one in Duffield is a pure waste of time and too much aggravation to even pull into the parking lot. I also viewed them taking items from the freezer section and putting it in the ice freezer outside. Thats a dangerous thing and opportunity to poison people

Some prices are great, but honestly most items in a so called Dollar General Store are more expensive than Walmart as well as towels are better priced as well as definitely made much better, and you can literally buy them cheaper at the Mall! Staff are very friendly though which is why I gave four stars. If not for the kindness and professionalism of the store staff Id only have given it two stars.

Even though it was close to closing when I got there, the two female associates never seemed to grumble at me and my near-to- late timing. They were both still smiling and helpful until the last customer was served this evening.

This place seems to always be busy but many times there is only one register open for 6 / 7 customers in line. The clerks are courteous despite the grumbles.

Its convenient and if youre coming from my direction the bus turnarounds only 22 minutes

My home sweet home u would rather go there than to the groceries store unless you have to. They got most of your essential food items as well as things you dont have to go to Walmart for. I spend a lot less at dollar general than the two other stores combined. My one min shopping there keeps me from spending on things i dont need.

Not one of my favorite DGs. Small, dirty. Poor stock. Staff interacts too much with neighborhood riff-raff, stories about brothers in jail, police etc...not an inviting atmosphere. Needs better management for sure.

They served all my needs and there was no line on the way out. The store doesnt give you room to move but thats the give and take you have to put up with buying goods at a low,low price!

They close at 10 but doors locked at 9:50 thats bologna not the first time either should go by hours advertised not whatever the employee working feels like corporate should prolly address this bull

Like most DG stores but this one was very unorganized and in quite a mess. Maybe its bc its so close to Christmas and theyve been busy... But Im afraid this might be the norm for this location.
