If youre going to service the ferry coming over on a 4-5 hour trip and already pressed for time, please staff more than two people to handle a line of customers. Between the boat taking longer than advertised and being told they will help you and youll be on your way immediately we didnt get on our way until almost 1 pm. It took about 45 minutes in your line. Two ladies were handling this line and though they were polite, it was not efficient. Also, find another way to run peoples cards. Giving a copy of your credit card to someone is not desirable. I hope you have a good plan to shred that information and not let it get into the wrong hands. $176 is expensive for 4 hours of golf cart time. yikes.

They have a lot of nice Carts but we sure didnt get one. We arrived at noon off the key west express and rented a cart only to find out that since of departure time was the afternoon boat at 6pm we wouldnt have the cart past noon the day of our return and they will not rent hourly to cover the 6 hour gap.. when you plan your trip plan to come back in the morning as to not be stranded like we were.. customer service was very poor to say the least. Id rent from one of the many other cart dealers on the island.. $300 for 1 day WOW

I actually bought a golf cart for my business from this company. They sold me an excellent cart at a great price. When I needed service post purchase, they took me right in with no notice, gave me a loaner which I didnt expect, but they insisted. Just a really nice, honest, fair group of people with very well cared for vehicles for rent and sale.

Had a great selection of NEW electric golf carts, when other places were sold out. Was able to easily extend my rental for reasonable price. Golf cart was impeccable and the battery was more than enough range to cruise around the island all day. Ill be renting again next time Im in Key West.

Recently rented a golf cart from them for our entire weeks stay in Key West. The attendant, Fernando, was awesome! He answered our calls day and night. Switched our electric cart out for a gas one at a moments notice with no problems. Drop off was easy and hassle free. A great way to get around! I highly recommend them!

Dont rent from them. There are cheaper rentals all over key west.Got a gas cart. So loud we couldnt even talk. Had to restart at every stop sign. Gas gauge did not work.When we returned the cart and complained she laughed at me.300.00 and had to fill the tank. Didnt even offer a discount rude rude rude!!!!!!

We had a good time at Key West! Fun! It almost didnt happen. So, I need to give a shout out to my girl Renata at Conch Electric Cars. If anyone ever goes to Key West, I strongly encourage doing business with this company. No way to a said local hotel though, whom screwed us over. So, Im crying and upset, we go to try to return our rental cart early (we have it 24 hrs). We explain to Renata that we have no place to stay and need to head back on the boat in a few hrs. A long story short, she has a connection with a condo owner, and was able to get us a place to stay for a very, very decent price. Way nicer and cheaper. Life savers and sweeties- Renata and Marcela! Our Key West angels!😇. Way to run a good business! Very impressive!

Stopped in to ask about renting a golf cart. The lady running the place was on the phone, so I waited until she looked up and asked what I wanted. She never put here phone down and continued to look at the phone and not me. When I asked about renting the next day, she said maybe? She was so busy looking at her phone, she really didnt care about me and was completely rude. Not sure she even cared. It was 10 minutes to close, so Im guessing I was inconveniencing her. I left and didnt rent from there. Terrible

Had the most amazing experience here. Customer service representatives were great under pressure as we were getting off of the busy Key West express. Renata is extremely hospitable, we were so grateful for her kindness, she was the highlight of our trip.

We rented an electric car from this company for 24 hours while traveling in Key West & the car that they gave us was not working properly. When we were given the car at the time of rental it was at 51% charged. We drove around the island for about an hour then went back to the hotel where we plugged it in to charge & walked away. When we went back to the car a little while later it had not gained any charge but we just thought that it hadn’t been long enough on the charger. We drove around again for about another hour & again brought it back to charge while we ate dinner because at this point the battery was down to approximately 30%. After dinner we went back to the car so that we could drive around town for the night & again the car had not gained any charge. We plugged it into all of the different chargers that the hotel had. The car would not charge & it blew out all of the circuit breakers for the 3 plugs to electric cars at the hotel where we were staying for the night. We ended up walking through town for the night because we had a car that wasn’t going to have enough battery life to last through the night. Before we even had a chance to call the company the next morning, the manager called us to tell us that they were never supposed to rent out that particular car in the first place. They sent a new car over to our hotel at 10:30 am because we had paid for the car until 12:00 noon ( even though we were unable to use it for most of the time). The manager, Fernando, told us he would speak to us when we returned the car at noon to take care of us.When we returned the car we spoke to Fernando on the phone & he was very apologetic & said that he would give us a refund for the car for the hassle. The woman who was working at the desk & said she was the owner said that it was a brand new car & was fully charged when it was given to us & the only reason they called us to pick up the car was because of “a warranty recall” & that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle because it was brand new. She did give us a $60 refund off of the total but was very stubborn & unaccomidating

Terrible customer service

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! DO NOT RENT!!! We rented 3 golf carts for over $500. ALL THREE BROKE DOWN! They also told us that our 6 month old didn’t need a car seat, which was untrue! We were driving down the strip when someone yelled,”Put that baby in a damn car seat!!!!” Very embarrassing. They do not value safety or customer satisfaction. Will not be renting from this service ever again and advise others to do the same.

It was great and easy getting around the keys on a golf cart but the battery didnt last until the end of our time, had to bring it back a little early, barely made it back, although was offered another cart.

Such great service! This was the best idea for getting around Keywest. They promptly picked us up at the port when our ship arrived. The golf carts were spotless and in fabulous condition. We had a wonderful time driving around Keywest in Conch Electric Cars. They even drove us back to the boat! Definitely recommend!

Fun way to get around the island. If you plan on traveling alot get the gas powered. A bit pricey but a blast!

We were supposed to receive we rented a two-seater jam car the electric jam car got stuck with a four-seater golf cart throttle is messed up on and parking brake did not hold it all Im handicapped and almost got knocked over by a mirror parked in Walgreens parking lot when the golf cart started to roll and didnt realize it behind me turn the car back in owner didnt seem to really care.

The 50+ year old grumpy rental lady was not apreciated. Would rather use any other company on the island. There is no excuse for being rude!

Rented a cart for a few hours the back shocks were horrible. Rubbing the fender to the point of rubbing a hole in the fender. The windshield wiper only worked half way. The blinker would turn on by itself and the seat belts only worked once. They wouldnt pull down to latch. Spoke to the manager and they wouldnt compensate any money spent after paying over 140.00 for only 2 hours of use. They offered to loan is a different one but we had already been through 2 carts. I will be contacting the FLDOT about the safety concerns. As well as the Key West Chamber of Commerce about their expired tourism license that is posted.

Using their electric carts was a lot of fun. You can relax all day, just driving near the water.

When an over zealous maintenance man threatened to have my renal cat towed, The owner of Conch Electric Car Rental went above and betond normal customer service when she rescued my cart by dealing with issue in person! (What the mgmt at 24 North could have done)

Fantastic!! Been to the Keys numerous times. Wife and I just turned 60 and really did not want to walk miles from Mallery to Southern most point in July. Rented a two person golf cart, 5 hours, 100 bucks. Best move I have made in years. Saw things we had not seen before. Such a freedom. Drove the cart back to there shop where they took us to our hotel, got our luggage, and dropped us off at the Key West express ferry. Door to door service. We will definatley be looking for rental for the entire week next trip. Thanks. (P.S. All the employees actually smile and make you feel welcomed, which I thought was a thing of the past)

Worst golf carts ever! Had to return the first one and the second one would barely go. Returned the carts and they said it takes 3 days for a refund but it didn’t take three days to take the money out of our account!

The owner Renada, couldnt be nicer! Had someone pick us up from the hotel, made sure the car was fully charged, affordable prices, made for great transportation around Key West. Definitely would recommend.
