Do not go here if you are disabled and need assistance. You cannot do curbside pickup with any lumber, and its a fight to get someone to get it off the shelf, and no one will help you push it around. Currently just waiting to see if any employee might eventually help me load my truck. Truly one and done shopping, as I will never come back.

These guys were not as helpful as I wanted them to be. We waited over 20 minutes for someone to get a locked up item only to find out their inventory was off. That sucked, but the waiting was the worst part. Once the guy got to the department he was cool as hell, and as helpful as he could be, but overall we felt underserved.

My review is in regard to the delivery and installation, this was easily the worst delivery Ive ever experienced. 2 delivery gentlemen showed up right on time then spent no more than 15 minutes trying to install my over range microwave. This new LG microwave is exactly and I mean Exactly the same dimensions as the one Im replacing. They attempt to install, set it down and say it doesnt fit. They explain that I will need to make cuts to my cupboards for it to be installed. They then proceed to install my dishwasher which after making the plumbing and electrical connection one of them hits start and turns it on, checks for leaks and packs up and leaves. After theyre gone Im searching for the owners manual for the dishwasher because Im wondering why is it so loud. I call them on there cell phone ( Which is the # they called me from to set delivery time) and he says OH, Its probably inside the dishwasher. It was and so was all the packaging and the noise suppression pad that wasnt installed.All the styrofoam, tape, instruction manual, everything is obviously soaking gd wet.It literally took me 20 minutes to install the microwave by myself, they had hung the bracket incorrectly, which is why it didnt fit. They also left me with 1 bolt instead of the 2 that came with the install package, he did bring it back 11 hours later.Im incredibly frustrated because we were so excited about our new appliances and it became a delivery and install debacle!The dishwasher is noticeably quieter after I installed the noise suppression pad and removed all the packing materials from inside the dishwasher. The microwave works perfectly after I rehung the bracket and it fits perfectly no thanks to the delivery team.I want my money back for the install of the dishwasher as it was incomplete and I had to complete that install as well!

I purchased cabinets makeover on 1/22, installation on 3/22-25. They left 3 doors in the wrong direction because the previous measurement provided wrong information, and they said they will call me for fix once the new hinges are in stock. Its 5/3 today and none of the 3 doors is fixed. Throughout the past 3 weeks, I called this listed Kent location number, Lander store number, my original sales guys number, and another contact Patricias number that Kent gave me, MULTIPLE times. Every time I was told someone will call you, call this number instead, call back next week, or simply no answer.As of right now Im on the phone of Kent location, the lady was telling me to hold because shes rebooting her computer. Its been over 10 minutes and Im still placed on hold.I love the new cabinets (5 stars) except the 3 wrong doors and how of a slack their customer services are.

No joke! Ive had some bad experiences in this location for a couple years. Yes I keep going back because its literally a 2 minute drive from my house. I have noticed within the last year things have changed for the better. I recently purchased outdoor furniture in store and it was a great expierence, thanks to Quinton!!

I went here looking specifically for lye/sodium hydroxide and it said on their website that they carried it but when I went to the store I couldnt find it. I found the area where it should have been but I couldnt find the specific product and when I asked a worker they said that product was an online order only product. I asked why the website says it was available at this location of it was an online order only product and his response was that you can place the order online for pickup at the stores location. I told him this was a horrible setup for their website because it made it appear to customers that the product was available in store, and he said he was sorry and agreed. I left without making a purchase.Ive bought things from here in the past without any major issues, but Ive also previously bought things that broke after the first use, but Im not sure that this is a store issue so much as a manufacturer issue for the specific product. One item I bought from here in the past was a sander that I literally used one time and a part that really shouldnt have been made from plastic which held the sandpaper on just snapped, rendering the whole tool unusable. The return process was quick and painless, however, to their credit.

I just bought this mower one week ago. I charged the battery and mowed my lawn on one battery. It took about 15 minutes to get used to the controls. Pros: Works as advertised. Folds up nicely. Has the light for times that you wait too long to get started. Cons: The blade height. The lowest position on the RYOBI is equivalent to about my #3 position on my Craftsman. I think this is a deal breaker. I need to mow my yard lower than this one will let me. The handle needs to be more adjustable. In my case it needs to be shorter. Our yard has many curves and a large rock wall with plants and trees. My old mower let me maneuver around some of these obstacles and now I need to stand to the side of the Ryobi to try to maneuver some of the yard and if you let up any pressure on the safety bar the mower stops and you need to restart it off to the side and not from behind. I have about 3 more mowings before my 30 day return policy is over and at this point I think I will return it.

I ordered a Weber Genesis II E-315 grill on 5/18. The in store advertisement stated free delivery and assembly.It was scheduled to be delivered today 5/24.I just got a call from the FEDERAL WAY store which apparently was going to process the order despite me specifically going to the Kent store.The delivery driver was there to pick up my grill but they do not have one assembled.They can only deliver one in the box requiring assembly.I am old, I have back pain, and I specifically ordered assembly so that I would not have to assemble it myself.I have a BBQ scheduled for this Saturday. So now I will have to spend hours assembling something that I specifically ordered assembled.Calling the store they are unable to locate and ship an assembled grill. They said I could bring it in and they would assemble it for me. But that I would need to haul it home myself.I specifically ordered delivery because I have a Toyota Carolla. The trunk is not large enough to haul the grill.I spent just shy of $1000 for thus grill and Home Depot screwed me over. I should have gone to Lowes.Edit: I am leaving the above review as it shows what I went through, but I want to upgrade the review and update.The delivery of the unassembled grill never happened even after all the above. I finally was able to reach the operations manager Debbie who went above and beyond to fix this fiasco.After calling their delivery partners, seeing that the unassembled grill was loaded on the truck yesterday at 2pm and not delivered by 8pm. She said she would make this right and to expect a call at 10am.At just after 10, Debbie called to let me know that she had an assembled grill being loaded on a truck right now and that I would receive the grill on 20 minutes.That grill has arrived.Debbie also price matched the $50 off sale that was posted to Home Depots website.She went above and beyond to fix this issue so that my BBQ plans for this weekend will not be canceled.Thank you Debbie.

Ive been to probably a hundred Home Depots and in my experience the Kent, Wa store has the most helpful employees . There are 2 cashiers who I always stop and ask where is this or that and I never feel like Im being a burden to them like a few places Ive been. Great customer service !

I was trying to get ahold of hardware just so I can see if they had a availability on an item. They transferred me 3 times and after that I kept saying I have been transferred and no one is picking up. The girl said she is new and transferred me again! I was transferred 6 times either though I told them no one is picking up! They said they are busy which I understand but that doesnt mean you should transfer me 6 times. All I wanted was to see if they had an item jn stock. I was om the phone for 30 minutes and finally got an answer which is ridiculous

Do not go to this store if you expect help from the door department! We have come in 3 separate times over the last 4 months to purchase doors for our home. No one is ever at the service desk. Today we waited for 45 minutes! We had to go ask the service desk to call someone. Finally someone talked with us and they can’t give us a price because it takes days to build the quote! The worst customer service I have ever had anywhere!

I needed information, assistance, and the plywood sheet I purchased cut to a specific size. Kunwar handled the tasks at hand with ease - no problem. Kunwar provided such exceptional customer service I will be returning in the very near future for a fencing project. Pick up in store order was not available when I went although I was called a few days prior that it was in. Correct staff was at lunch and I had to call later. Was told it was there still had to wait while stuff was found and computer was correctly updated. I did not get proper notification so I could not get curbside pickup. Staff was helpful but could have gone smoother as other orders have. Still a good store.

I really like that they have those classes and DIY for kids. They are free and fun. And this is the place if you need anything for your house. But when they have the slogan, you can do it, we can help, thats not true at all. 97% of their associates dont know anything about the products, dont know how to remodel or fix anything in the house or yard. Most of them are not willing to help or have bad attitude. This is self service store. You have to know what you need. So good luck for finding that 3% of employees who actually have the knowledge and willing to help you. And they should change their slogan to, You can do it, we cant help.....Sorry, not really

Rented a truck which gives you 75 mins for $20, got back there on time and after seeing the waiting line long, I stopped an employee telling them I was there on time and didn’t want it to affect me since there were few people in line ahead of me. He said I just have to wait, by the time my turn in the line came, it was 15 mins over, even though everyone saw me standing there waiting, called a supervisor, nothing happened. I don’t know how this was my fault but the supervisor made it seem like it was. I didn’t mind paying the few extra bucks but the service honestly sucked. Won’t be going back.

Negative stars. Paint lady told me wrong location then was very condescending when i asked another question about a product seen online. I hate shopping online and she really didnt make me real like she wanted to help or be there. She really just wanted to gossip with another lady and wanted me out of her way. The self check out lady didnt know anything but did ask me to walk across the store again for help, which i figured would have been the same lady, so no. I think there was 5 workers in the entire store. I will never go back.

Great customer service from the Gentleman in Lumber. I needed another piece cut to replace the part that broke on my daughters bed. I brought in the broken piece so it was kinda hard to get the right measurements but it fit perfectly when I got home. The staff working the floor of this store are in general not knowledgeable enough to answer most consumer questions. My experience has been that they have to call a manager or someone else to answer my questions. And the last time I asked where electrical conduit and tile mastic were located, they were clueless and had to look it up on a mobile device just like a consumer would do. Please, Mr. Blank, tell your district manager for this area to please not put people on the floor of your stores unless they know where everything is located!!!! Store inventory is pretty good and the customer service people are mostly very professional.

I love hardware stores, Ive spent hours at time in this store. Home Depot is my service dogs favorite store. She looks for the orange aprons & begs for a dog treat.Reason for 3 stars is the customer service. I remember I couldnt get through 1 isle without being ask by couple associates if I needed help. I have spent hour in 1 department wanting to purchase flooring, finally I gave up.Im either walking through this store with a cane on a good day or Im ride their electric scooters on a challenging day.The no help happens every visit. If I were stop shopping here theyll probably not miss me as a customer, Im wondering if they review their reviews or are they too big to bother

They truly need more experienced people in the garden dept. First and foremost, they have $30 tropical Hibiscus in the shade ALL day, so those plants are FAR from thriving. They dont have a very big selection, so everyone that works in that dept should AT LEAST be able to Google the care of all their best sellers. When I brought this up to the lady the other day, she said, oh we have 2 water people!Any simple question I ask, they all look at me dumbfounded or look at me like why are you asking me a question??Plants NEED CARE and proper sunlight and PRUNING. I deadhead in there when I see a ton of dead stuff on plants. Most plants CANT PRODUCE more blooms unless they are CARED FOR. MAYBE I WILL APPLY! LOL.If Im looking at the CORRECT receipt, Brittany is very nice & hard working. She is the taller younger one in the mornings. She will actually look up a question I have-- about a certain product etc. And she goes out of her way to care for the plants. I watch everything lol.But the bad review I have is overall Home Depots Ive been to. This is just the location by my house. Ill add a couple stars, simply because its convenient to go there for my basic garden needs. And I may apply to work there! :)

Ive visited this location on numerous occasions to get a variety of supplies for DIY projects at home. The fact that its down the road from my apartment is a perk. The store has a great layout that makes it easy to run in and grab something quickly. In addition to that I cant recall too many times that Ive had to stand around in order to check out. Even considering how packed this location can be on the weekends.

Im struck by the wildly varying reviews of this place. Personally, Ive only had excellent experiences here. I love this store!On my most recent trip here, I had to get some white toilet seats. Glamorous outing, I know. LOL! Anyhow, WHO THE HECK KNEW this would be such a major decision? There was a whole wall of white toilet seats! Wood, plastic, enameled wood, silent closing, potty-seat inserts, heated, various fasteners.... and they all looked the same. Wow, that took a LONG time to decide what to get.On the way out, I decided to check to see if I truly needed the seats (I ordered 3 new toilets online from Home Depot and they havent arrived yet. I didnt think they came with seats but thought it would be prudent to check). At the Customer Service desk, I asked if they could check on my order (I ordered it to be delivered to the Renton HD). The guy accessed my order number on my phone to look up the model of toilet to check if it came with a seat or not (it didnt). This guy was super nice and took the time to check on this for me.I then thought Id surprise my kid by getting a car key made for her (she just got her license). The young guy at the key-making station was incredibly knowledgeable (and he was so young, too!), explaining how my car key has a transponder or some sort of chip in it (Im not a technical person, can you tell???) and he can make the key but itd cost $70 (its about $200 at the dealer). Who knew!? I thought getting a key made would be a few bucks. Needless to say, I passed. But I was really impressed with this guy who knew keys inside out and took the time to explain why my car key was so pricey to replicate.Great store, and all the folks Ive encountered here were helpful and knowledgeable.
