I was pleasantly surprised coming into this location today! I was greeted with a smile, I witnessed the manager apologizing to customers as she was coming up to check them out, the vibe was different, and my check out experience was Grade A! I have frequented this store in the past and cashiers would be up front but would barely greet you, the store looked a little dirty at times, and the atmosphere was just blah. I also spoke with Mimi (the manager) who checked me out, and she gave very positive vibes. Im glad that I dont have to drive out of my way to get to another DG anymore. I started doing that because the people at the other stores were nicer. Thank you Mimi for a pleasant visit!

The employees are very nice but this store is BARREN. Like an imprnding apocalypse has caused everyone to come wipe out the store. And it seems the store doesnt care to restock anything either.

It is posted that they are open until 10, however I went there at 9:25 and the doors were already locked (Sunday). I called the # and they answered with “Hello?”. I asked if it was Dollar General and they said yes. I then asked them if they were closed and they said yes. I told them the sign says 10 and they didn’t respond. You need to update the hours if they aren’t correct! 5 other customers pulled up as well and I informed them they are saying they are closed even though the sign says 10.

Good visit at this location. Nice cashier. I purchased yellow legal envelopes. You can count on Dollar General to have a little of everything.

I love the Dollar store it saves me from going into a Big grocery store plus they have the same items as a big store and good deals!

This location has touchless, automatic accordion doors, full wheelchair access.Has much of what I need in a more convenient, smaller space. Often Walmart prices but much smaller and generally faster.

This location definitely be pretty stocked every time I come in here. If u are looking for lysol, they more than likely to have it.

It’s a dollar store so you get what you expect here. Service was good and we were able to find what we needed. Good selection and convenient location as well.

A lot of things are on clearance and everything there is cheap. I would totally recommend, especially if you are on a budget.

This store has the rudest and most unprofessional employees Ive experienced in a long time. Ive lived in Kennesaw for over 10 yrs and have visited this location several times... and for the most part, without any complaints. However, the level of customer service lately has been completely unethical. Even the manager is rude. I went to ask him a question... first he ignored me... then he cut me off before I could finish what I was asking. In addition, when I complained to him a few weeks ago about how myself and other customers were treated by one of the young ladys there, he tried defending her. There is absolutely no valid excuse to talk to people in a rude manner or to ignore customers when theyre asking a question. The sole purpose of customer service is to service the customer! I will be in touch with the corporate office because as a citizen in this community, myself and ALL of the other customers have a right to be treated with respect. To whom it may concern, please speak with the employees at this location and train them on how to properly treat and service customers! Enough is enough! We dont spend our hard-earned money to deal with sarcastic, rude, and unprofessional employees!

They mostly have everything you need sometimes its in a smaller size but you still getting what you need

Everytime I go there, the same girl is there. She greets you, but you never see a smile on her face. May be because everytime, I walk in there, shes there (over-worked). I never really expect much from shopping there, and thats pretty much what Im given!

Store was nice but giving it only 3 stars since I was disappointedly met with a not so attractive and cute cashier which was my whole point of stopping by this location. False advertisement man. Anyway that girl seemed to have an attitude wasn’t very welcoming

Great prices and customer service there is one girl that has an attitude but she only seems to show it when she thinks there are no customers around. Other than that everyone is great. Sometimes things are out of stock too since it is on a busy street.

My go to store for spaghetti, and sauce ingredients.

Serena refuses to take my coupon because she stated if she couldn’t read it she couldn’t take it... I was like mam I’ve never ever heard of that.. I have heard if the coupon wouldn’t scan they the cashier could refuse.. She was like well I can’t read it so I can’t take it.. Which I laughed and told her I have been shopping at dollar general stores well over 12 years and I had never ever heard of such especially when the coupon is valid and able to be read.. I asked if she needed my glasses to clearly see... smh.. none the less I asked for her managers number and she stated she was the manager which I found out was a lie.. smh

Service a little slow. More workers are needed. They had a lot of needed and useful supplies.

Three stars for great prices,but often the Pepsi-Coke products are out of (for example)DIET MOUNTAIN DEW, but too many MOUNTAIN DEW! BUT despite this the staff is friendly but sadly very scarce. And engaged in not only stocking the shelves,but also being a cash register!

Its your basic Dollar general but they usually have stuff you need and off items at affordable prices.

I work by this store, and go in pretty much daily. Its gotten a tad bit better the past few weeks.. but you always have to wait for a cashier.. or pretty much holler that youre ready to check out, bc the cashier is hiding somewhere. Ive had to knock on the break room door twice so that I could pay for my items and leave. Its normally pretty cluttered and messy. The 2 new cashiers have definitely made my experience with this store much better the past few weeks, so I hope they stick around. Edited: Much better now.

While it’s not the nicest Dollar General, or in the best location (behind Bobby’s, a little shady), this location is great in a pinch and the employees have always been kind and conversational.

Usually quick and easy, Ive never had to wait in line for more than a minute or so. The parking lot is almost always full of trash. Looks like it hasnt been cleaned in months.

Hello. Cashier was friendly. A normal amount of customers for this time on a weekday in summer. A manager was on duty which was helpful. They have typical items here and plenty of store brand options. Thanks.

Seems no matter when I go to this store the aisles for paper goods (papertowels, toilet paper, paper plates, cups, bowls, etc....) are always bare or close to it. Same goes for the laundry goods aisle. Everyone knows that DG is the place to go for these kind items so you would think they would try and kept a better handle on their Inventory as not to miss so many sales.

Couponers beware! I went in the other night because I could get some cheap items with my coupons, got up to the register and the cashier was nice, but when he saw I had coupons his attitude changed! He immediately said, we are not allowed to take printable coupons some of my coupons were not printable kind... some were, but he didnt even want to look at my coupons. He said they all had to be from the manufacturer... Im like, these are manufacturer coupons... then he goes to get his manager and he gives me the same story and says his District Manager told them not to accept any Internet Printable Coupons because they COULD be photocopies...I went to show him my coupons so he could inspect them and he didnt even want to look or he just glanced at them... and said no. I know there are people out there that do make photocopies of coupons, but I AM NOT ONE OF THEM!Ive never shopped at Dollar General before, and to be honest this place looked kinda(ahem, SUPER) sketchy... so I didnt want any problems and left. I did send an email to corporate about this particular store not accepting internet printable coupons... because all over Youtube people are actually using Internet Print Coupons at Dollar General... Perhaps they need a crash course on couponing because they didnt even know where coupons came from....... they think you get them ONLY from newspapers...Aside from this, the store was a mess, and when I walked in it seemed as if no one was working and everyone was just ready to go home... I will NEVER COME TO THIS DOLLAR GENERAL AGAIN!
