Its alright, most of the same stuff are $1 at dollar tree,enjoyed the garden section. The 2 liter of soda are really cheap except the can ones...

Went the day after the 4th of July and the place was bare. The economy has definitely improved. Lol

This family dollar is like any other Ive been in except this one seems a bit bigger then the last and with that a lot more to offer in product. The isles were a bit tight making it difficult to keep 6 feet during pandemic. Surprisingly the cashiers moved swiftly today.

Unprofessional employees that work there. All the time I go there to get what I need and the employees there tend to talk down to the customer. Whether the customer is right or wrong, thats uncalled for. I think the employees there need a training on how to treat customer and how to show professionalism. Maybe the way they treat customers is why some customers acted out disrespectfullly the way they do.Just Saying!

Its funny how you people at the store in the blacks cant get the same treatment as others SAD and dont tell anyone that at the store on the black side of town you cant add any cash to your cards another 3 more miles to the next black store just for them to tell me that there dont work but this is SAD just like charging for cash back SAD......

I Always go to this store because its really close to my apartment. I never ever had any problems in this store. The cashiers and the managers are nice and they do an amazing costumer service. But today, I think she is new because I never saw her at the store before her name is Jessica and I thought she charged me twice for a item. I try to check in the machine but It was hard to see. I ask the lady can you check in your computer if you charge twice for this item, she responded: you check in the machine I told her Im asking you because I could not see anything. She refused to tell me and when I told her : you are being really rude and nasty Im just asking you because your job here is costumer service and she replied to me that I was the nasty and rude one...I asked her that because I did not wanted to do two transaction in my card it is was a mistake. By the way she was mad and angry because she did not want the schedule she has; there was a conversation that she was having with another employee on front of me while I was paying my items, i think she dont want to work there, or is she need to learn about costumer service.

Very family oriented and helpful staff

The store is under new management and its obvious. Staff is friendly hard at work store is cleaned at all times and shelves are being restocked constantly. Pleas keep up the good work. Its noticed and appreciated!

This store has long wait times because they refuse to open more than one register. The staff is rude and unprofessional.

This store was good at one time but honestly they dont restock things as often as other stores, sometimes for weeks. Also theyre incredibly stingy with bags at check out and the staff isnt the nicest. If there were another Family Dollar close by or another store like it I honestly wouldnt even go here anymore. Also theres always bums loitering around the front that smell really bad and the store doesnt even bother to try and get rid of them .

One of the busiest stores, a $1 goes a long way here, they definitely live up to its name.This store would have been even better if they had more cashiers

Purchase some ice cream and when I got home to eat it, I noticed that the ice cream had freezer burn throughout. I didnt even eat it but when I went to take it back the next day. The employee tells me sorry we dont return food, but they have no problem selling bad food? I left the ice cream and receipt on the counter and walked out. I vow to never step foot in any Family Dollar store anywhere!

The employees are great very polite and eagar to help customers .always greet everyone when they come in store.

EXTREMELY RUDE SERVICE HERE. The manager completely dismissed all the women in the store, including my own mother when she wanted a refund for hard, stale candy. Terrible service

Horrible ... went into a really junky unorganized store, lack of help(although my cashier was very pleasant), long lines and come out to the parking lot and have my rear corner bumper completely torn up by an inconsiderate driver. In addition got harassed politetly for solicitations at the front door asking for assistance to get food

I just moved to Jersey March 9th and was in this store that day and everyday for my first few days trying to buy things for my apartment. On March 25th My brother came to visit me and went here with my son. While paying for their items the Hispanic man (speaks no English) who works the door walked up to my brother and began going into his pockets saying he stole...Then he began to physically push my brother out of the store when he realized he had not stolen anything..I went to the store bro speak with the manager who had a long line so I decided to stand to the side and wait..which was well over 45 minutes..The man working the door decided to call the cops on me.. He told the 911 operator I was yelling and knocking things over in the store which was a complete lie...When the cops arrived and asked him where was the mess I made he had no answer...The officers ask him if they reviewed the tape would they see me doing anything he said I did and he tried changing the subject...He needs to be fired.

They get through the lines in a timely fashion and they know where things are in the store which is hard to find in a family dollar establishment

MLK shopping center, customer service needs improving, staff talking on their cell phones, eating behind the registers and long waiting lines at checkout on weekends.

Everything is all over the place...they are bipolar....sometimes nice and helpful and next time they dont want to be bothered. They run out of merchandise all time

There was problem with the register and I paid for my items twice. All of the workers did not know how to refund me the money back. With no managers or lead at the store what so ever they insist upon me paying a third time. Which let me to walk out with nothing including the items I already paid twice for. lesson learned not to go here ever again. Bad service and you will be rolling the dice if something goes wrong.

Jersey city Martin Luther King Boulevard I had a terrible experience I will never go there again I witness a worker and a manager manhandling old lady chasing her down in the parking lot while the two workers left their store unattended to bully and harass this lady I even witnessed the black worker put his hands on the old lady and the Spanish manager had a box cutter in his hand it seems to me that he was attempting to make a threat at the old lady if she didnt give her purse up it was crazy! the worker actually was trying to take the old lady pruse from her shoulder

I left my bag with one of the girls, to shop after shoping I forgot the bag, and I called them to keep it for me, I return the next day, and they took it, with my expensive human hair in the bag, they stole it....the manager said theres nothing he can do for me...Lord know am going to give the a pice of my ass, or take something from the store that worth my money....

The manager was very disappointed he didnt want to give bags he said he was short.

They closed the store a half hour earlier than reported on the sign on the wall and wouldnt let me in.

The shelfs are always empty the check out lines are why too long & the manager has a very bad attitude!
