Pros: good fruit, on-time delivery, free delivery, great overall giftCons: the amount of fruit that is normally provided for this gift-product was not provided with this gift that was delivered: 4 strawberries instead of 7; 5 melon slices instead of 10 (manager said normally 8-10 maybe there was a shortage, manager stated). So the gift was considerably smaller than what normally is presented, but the store didnt respond pro-actively. The Newark branch of Edible Arrangements has a better track record with us.Suggestion: pick up your gift from the Jersey City location rather than have it delivered, so that you can inspect the gift, and make sure you got what you expected.Other than that, it is a great idea and great gift. But this particular one was disappointingly somewhat underwhelming, unlike the others we have received and given as gifts.

Very pleased with my order! Made a few special requests as this was for a friend with specific taste and to my surprise they were able to accommodate. I provided specific colors for the ribbon because it was for a themed party at work and they did just that. They even added orange (as a special request which I know Edibles doesnt normally do) Honestly going the extra mile for a paying customer says everything. I use Edible Arrangements often and try to use different locations if I can but Ill be sure to come back here.

Did not deliver the item at all in day requested no did they update my order or call to say it wasn’t delivered - I wanted it delivered to a business and they showed up at 5pm ( obviously the person left for the day!) they told this next day after I called 10 times with no answer . Told them to please have the manger call me and of course nothing.. try using a different edible arrangements not connect to this one.

Placed my order at 9 AM today to do a surprise for my mom, it is currently 18:27, I have called their store 7 times, all of my calls being rejected, and I still havent received my order... Never going to order from this store again...UPDATE: I called cs again this morning, they apologized, I received the order, however, it did NOT come complete, I ordered a Bear Plush, and it DIDNT COME! $15 spent on a plush and it didnt arrive...

Horrible Customer service . I called the place letting them know the edible arrangement that was send for me was at the wrong address. Called multiple times. Kept telling me the arrangement was already delivered ( to the right address) . Informed them the person who they delivered MY ARRANGEMENT TO called me and the shop. The response from this place was they will give us a call back . How do you deliver something to a wrong address ? The zip code and everything was no where near my address.

Very poor service I placed an order on june 29th so my daughter in law could get it for her Birthday on june 30th and she didnt get anything all day so I called them at 4:11 and asked where is my order the woman said on the truck I said you are only eight blockes away she said it will get there between 5:30 and 6:00, but we close at 5:00, it said it was delivered but she never received it I tried calling but they were closed how can you have people delivering but you are closed so if someone has something missing from there order they cant call till the next day to let them know, never again and they were only 8 blocks away poor business.

I have been calling the store none stop no one picks up o also call the corporate office no answer . My order for mother day never got to my sisters house, I drove to the store, (I Iive an hour away ) no was there it was 3:30pm, the delivery guy said he cannot help me, he only picks up order, knows nothing about the system . they are closed but the sign said closes at 7:00 pm . I emailed corporate office they opened a case and stated they sent the info to the store allow two days its been 3 days not WTH .I want my money back..

My daughter placed an order for a platter of strawberrys for Mothers Day. The order was receive at 9pm. None of the strawberrys were covered in chocolate and they had pretzels in a bag on the strawberrys. Plus it wasnt nowhere near what she ordered. They over charge for a plate of fruit that I could have got in Walmart. They do not pick up the phone either. I need to get a loan and open up a business that serves icecream and give people dog treats....because people open a business and do what they want with peoples money. I would not recommend buying anything from this place. I give them 0 stars and one for the delivery person for TRYIN to find our address. (What happen with GPS?). Get creative and make your own for a cheaper price.

They gave my order away to someone else and is refusing to either remake my order or refund me my money. How can you give someone order away without checking id. They are saying someone signed for it when i labeled myself as the only pickup person. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. A waste of money and time.

If I can give ZERO stars I would .... my husband ordered from this place ... the delivery was supposed to arrive on the 15th... this place closes at 7pm and I called at 6:30pm (on the 15th) to ask when the gift would arrive.... the lady said it was in transit and that I would recieve a call from the delivery driver.... I recieved no gift and no call ... however at 7:05pm I recieve an email stating it was delivered... I called on the 16th (next day) explained what happened and told the lady I wanted a refund .. she said she would speak to the delivery driver to see what happened and that she would call me back... never called back ... about an hour later the delivery guy calls saying he is downstairs with my package ... I told him I was not interested in the fruits that I was interested in getting A REFUND .... so he apologized and we ended the call.... I ordered Friday to deliver on Saturday (day before mother’s day) i received an email they they delivered it but when i called my mom she didn’t get it. I wrote on the delivery instruction to call her but they never did. Ive been calling their store but nobody is answering. Terrible! Wish i could give it a zero.

If i could give 0 star I would do it. I ordered a gift for my boss daughter and She never received it. They took from my credit card right after I ordered, but didnt deliver the gift. I called many times this store and nobody answers the phone. I opened a case on Edible website and the company said that they will refund but I have to wait 7 business days. So, they dont care about you!

Horrible customer service. From both the store and corporate. I am very displeased and disappointed as to how my order was handled. I placed my order on 4/30/2020 to be delivered 5/7/2020 (free delivery before mothers day weekend). I ordered a cheesecake with chocolate dipped fruit arrangement which totaled to less than $41. Not a bad deal, I thought. About a week later, day of delivery, I get a voicemail from the store saying that they had to cancel my order because they ran out of cheesecake and that my money would be refunded. They didnt even give me a chance to call back and pick something else! I called the store and they suggested that I place another online order. I already knew delivery fees were outrageous for mothers day weekend so I asked if they could honor the free delivery that I previously had. Not my fault they ran out of ingredients. The girl Makayla there told me to call back the following day and that she would be able take my new order and deliver the day of without that added delivery fee. I called the following day, numerous times, and got no answer. I had to call corporate. To my surprise, instead of assisting me, the rep at corporate decided to transfer me back to the store without telling me that she couldnt help me and that she was transferring me. Im finally on the phone with Makayla and she tells me that she can only take $5 off from the delivery, and not the free delivery that she offered the day prior! So not only did I have to spend more to get a different arrangement, I was now having to pay for delivery! She offered to add 2 free balloons. Because of the urgency of mothers day approaching I decided to just place the new order. But never again! They just lost a customer. Lastly, they ended up delivering the arrangement the day after it was supposed to be delivered and without the balloons! Of course! If I could give them 0 stars, I would. What an inconvenience and a headache!

The promised to re deliver my Mothers day gift, I asked that they do NOT contact my daughter as I did not want her to know, not only did they not deliver, they never called me, it was not until I called them that I found out they would not be re sending it. NEVER order from this location at 747 Newark Avenue, Jersey City NJI find your response a joke, you called me at 11:45 pm at night in response to my phone call. You cancelled the re order without telling anyone, said you refunded the money to my daughters credit card and yet here we are 5/27 and no refund and no re delivery. You are not an honest person. There is a special place for people like you taking advantage of a young girl who wanted to send her first mothers day present. I hope you can live with that.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THE STORE. I ignored the reviews because I was in a pinch and I regret it so much! I cannot speak for pickup, but Edible Arrangements DID NOT DELIVER a $130 flower bouquet I had ordered for my mother in law for her office retirement party on her last day of work after 45 years. They only called her to try to schedule a delivery at 4:56PM on a Friday afternoon AFTER I called them (which took 4 calls for anyone to even pick up the phone) asking for a refund because the business wasnt even open anymore and my mother in law had already left work for the last time. After calling the store twice, I was told they would call me right back after reaching out to the driver and they never called back. I called back today and was given an apology and a refund. While Im relieved to not be paying for something that was never received, I am extremely frustrated that Edible Arrangements ruined what should have been a really special surprise, then didnt even call me back to make it right. I had to keep calling them. This was a gift, and I had no backup as I didnt think I needed one. I have had positive experiences with other Edible Arrangement locations, but this one has been a nightmare!

I was skeptical ordering from this store given the reviews here but after I received my products, I’m not sure why they have such a low review.I ordered a costumized celebratory fruit bouquet with additives to be done for the following day and I receive just that. Fruits were fresh and delicious, the staff treated me very well, and everything turned out fantastic!Granted I chose to pick up my gifts instead of having them delivered, the turnout was great and the gifts were very well received. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again.

Dont do business with this store. I asked for delivery on Christmas Eve for an annual family Christmas party and the arrangement was never delivered. I spoke with the manager who claimed that delivery was attempted all day which was a complete lie since everyone was home the entire day. They decided to deliver it Christmas day (the day after our party). I told them Im never doing business with them again and the manager didnt even care. Why would you want to to business with a store like that? Dont waste your time unless you never want your delivery.

It wasnt my choice to even deal with this store due to terrible reviews. I ordered from another store but they transfer the order without telling me I guess because this store promised to deliver by the time that I indicated. The delivery person called me in the morning and left a message. Took me multiple calls to reach someone. The store said theyll be a little bit late. To be that mean just a few minutes and less than 30 minutes. When it is one hour passed the time, I called but couldnt reach them after multiple calls (like others mentioned, it feels like this store decides to ignore phone calls). Called the 800 number and someone finally reached them. They lied and told the rep that they told us in the morning that theyll be here 2 hours late. If you cant fulfill the order dont take it. Ended up canceling as this was meant for a party.

I ordered here on Valentine’s Day, last Friday, at 5pm I realized they weren’t gonna deliver on time so I stopped by to pick it up myself and they said the driver had already took it. My order was never delivered, yet they sent me a confirmation saying it was I waited through out the weekend to see if it would be delivered. I called them about a million times throughout the entire weekend and they never answered the phone. Today, Monday I got fed up and came down to my store and demanded either a refund or my order. This is unacceptable they ruined a part of my Valentine’s Day and if I never showed up to the store they would of stole my money as well.

Placed an order to be delivered in Mother’s Day. I received a call at 9:22 pm stating the delivery was outside, the man rang the doorbell but left before someone could get to the door.When I called to find out why he left, he stated there was a problem with my order and it was missing items so he had to go back to the shop.Two hours later still nothing!!!! This is ridiculous and a complete lack of customer service!

There is something up with this store. First of all they were supposed to send a simple fruit basket for a co worker of mine. I went to check the order status and it said it had been delivered. After that, I checked with my front desk and my floor desk and they said they hadnt seen anyone. They never called myself or anyone about it. After that I called the store and the number just kept ringing. I call customer service and even had them call and AGAIN NO ANSWER. How? WHy? And why did you mark something as delivered that CLEARLY wasnt. Customer service said someone would be in contact with me within 24 hours. Thats a joke.Then, to make it worse customer service said that the store was unable to do the delivery for some reason. Okay thats cool they sent it over to the sister store. Im pretty mad at this point just trying to get my edible arrangement and oh what do you know? They told the sister store we wanted to cancel! thats not what we had agreed on but Im not surprised. Answer your phone when CUSTOMERS are ringing. That is the first etiquette of business especially with delivery. I am appalled and highly recommend no one using this edible arrangements. All these reviews should be escalated to higher up in my opinion.

Placed my order online. I bought a small “get well” bouquet for 7:30 pick up. The main reason why I chose this bouquet was because the vase was purple (my sister’s favorite color). Few hours go by and I get a phone-call saying to pick up my order before 7 because they are closing. A huge inconvenience given that I was a couple hours away from home. I had to stress beating traffic to make it there on time. Google says they close at 9pm. When I get there I see that my vase is red ! Ugh. They also had ran out of the “get well” sign that goes inside the bouquet but they were nice enough to give me balloons instead

Very disorganized and irresponsible. They do not follow arranged times. Our delivery was 5 hours late, and we informed them we would not be home by then. I do not recommend ordering anything from this store. Maybe other stores in the area are better.

I ordered from the Newark Ave site last year around this time...found it purely by chance (as the one on Grand street is sloppy, very unprofessional and the staff is rude as hell) and had a wonderful experience.When I went in to place my order they gave my daughter and me two free chocolate covered strawberries. I dont even like strawberries but I ate it because of the gesture.They took my last minute order delivered a little late, but not to the point where I was upset, and stayed in contact with me the entire time.I had it delivered to a Sumner camp staff at the end of the camp as a token of my appreciation. The staff said the fruit was fresh and the arrangements were beautiful.I see there are a lot of bad reviews, but my experience was great.Guess like with a lot of things its hit or miss.

May 20th 2018....As I was skeptical myself but it was my aunts birthday, n Im out of state so I decided to send her an edible arrangement, and it was a last min thing they were closing so I tried to cancel my order but the guy that took my order said it wouldnt b a problem they can deliver. I wus so disappointed, it made me cry. My aunt got her delivery but it wus nothing like the edible arrangement I ordered. I will never order frm them again. This edible agency does not work, I made an order for 130 dollars for Mothers Day and we never received the order, it says that it is in delivery from 10am and it is 6pm and it has not arrived and we try to communicate and they do not respond. Please do not order anything from this company, they dont have a good service
