Max at Bill Penney Ford was phenomenal! He went above and beyond making sure I got the right color exterior and interiorly I wanted in my 2021 Explorer! He stayed extra late one day to show us, let us drive and make sure it was the one! He’s not too pushy, he’s laid back which is the best characteristics in a salesperson because I hate someone breathing down my throat or pushing me. He gave me and my husband privacy to discuss the vehicle before I said yes (I can’t make huge decisions on my own 🤣). But again WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND MAX! And Bill Penney Ford for ANY of your vehicle needs!

I called ahead to make sure the vehicle I was looking for was still available. When we got there we were promptly met by Hunter Headrick, our sales associate, who walked us through the test drive, finance and purchasing process. I had planned on a looking at a max of 6 cars at various dealerships across Northern AL. Because of Hunter, Keith Domino in Finance, and the rest of the staff at Bill Penney Ford, I was able to walk out with my first choice vehicle at the first dealership we stopped at--and in record time much to my husbands relief haha! I couldnt be more pleased with my 2020 Ranger; I never thought Id own a Ford in my life but now I know I was just missing out. He proceeded to ask me questions and I made decisions. When he had finished, I was looking at the truck of my dreams. I give Hunter Headrick 6 stars for being such a professional salesman. Had accidentally broken my only key fob for my 2016 ford fusion over the weekend and my car was stuck at a local store until I could get another. I took the pieces of my key fob to them Monday morning and these guys worked to piece it back together with spare parts they had there in the back. And worked with it until the got it working again. I was so thankful for them and the fact that they saved me around 250.00 if I were to have had to order another key fob. They even replaced the batteries in it for me and were so professional and polite. And even better they fixed it, handed it to me and told me they hoped my Monday would be better now and when I said thank you and how much do I owe you and they said nothing just have a good day. Would definitely recommend these guys.

Not easy finding the truck we wanted with the limited inventories everywhere we looked.Hunter at Bill Penneys in Jasper worked with us, answered all our questions regarding the F150 Lariats they had, we were sold, but not with the colors available.Hunter found a Lariat they had in transit, wasnt sure when it would arrive, but my wife liked the color so we put deposit down on it.Hunter contacted us as soon as it arrived, we drove over that evening and drove it home. We couldnt be more pleased with our Bill Penney Ford experience, and all the people we met there.

Do not buy used cars here...if you chose to, let me warn you. Get the car checked out before buying (your own mechanic of your choice). They do not fix problems with cars, only care if it drives and everything is safe. As is--watch out for that. Very good sales people that will convince every part of your being that it is a great deal when in fact, it is a terrible one. No return policy so ponder on it. --they want your money and they will not care about your satisfaction after buying the car. So get the policies/warranties they provide or else it will be a nightmare...there are way better dealerships out there that will not hassle you and with terrific customer service. you have been warned.

I was going to come on here and brag how Bill Penney Ford turned my experience around better, Unfortunately I am very frustrated with this Ford dealership. initially I brought in my vehicle because the check engine light was on because of my fuel tube, when I would get gas my car would be hard to restart, also my speedometer/ ABS/ traction control/ and my hill start assist lights were on. I was told that they were on because of a sensor being obstructed or needing a new one. After being told 2 days ended up a week and nothing was done to my car! I was lied to and begged to take down a fb post. The offered to fill my gas tank up, detail my car, refund my money and fix my car and the only thing done was fill my car that was at half a tank and refund all but $27 of my money. I felt taken advantage of since I’m a woman. I got there and the didn’t “have time” to detail my car when they offered to do it! I will never be back and can’t wait to get rid of my Ford! I had to drive 4 hours home to TN, without my car fixed with my son and 4 days later than expected. I never complain but my child’s safety is important to me and I wish they would have completed what they promised.

Bought a car April 10th. Check engine light came on on the way home. Got it to go off just for it to come on 3 days later and won’t go off. Also discovered a leak. Have contacted the salesman twice on how to get the issues fixed and he keeps saying he will get back to me but never does. Buying experience was great and went smooth but getting things fixed that are wrong apparently is nonexistent. And I have a warranty through my finance company.Edit - Tried to get a tag for my car and couldn’t due to not having a title application (that’s supposed to be in the paper work we brought home the day of purchase) and now I have to wait until it comes in the mail which could take up to 90 days. If I could put negative stars I would.

Please beware, their service department is horrible. I took my 2015 F250 Diesel in for a fuel filter and oil change along with tire rotation. The damages caused by them cost me well over $1000 to repair and they refused to pay for the repairs which were performed by another Ford dealer. I arrived around 1PM on Friday. After about 2 hours, the service advisor stated that the canister on my truck was difficult to remove and possible cross threaded. I informed the advisor that the prior filter service was also done by them and he said they had to fire some technicians that were probably responsible for this. Close to 4 the service manager came and said they were having trouble getting it to start. They suspected air in the line and were working to prime it. They werent sure if they could get it started before COB. I explained to them that this is my tow vehicle for my RV and we were leaving at 6AM for vacation the next morning. Service manager said they had a master tech on it and will see what they can do. Around 530 they pulled the truck around. They discounted the services and said the canister was catching air is why it wouldnt start. I paid $398 for the service work and left. We pulled the RV to the beach the next morning - Saturday. Sunday morning, I found a puddle of fuel leaked out underneath the truck. Not much you can do on Sunday so first thing Monday morning we took it to the local Ford dealer. After about 4 hours we were able to get into a rental car. This is exactly what you want to do on your vacation :(. Later in the day, Ford called and said that the fuel pump housing was broken off the frame an just handing there. The part was $800 and repair another $250. When we returned from vacation, I contacted the general manager and explained the situation to him and he said he would not be paying for the repairs but I could have free service. Nope, never will I ever have my vehicles in his shop again, not for free, and not if he payed me. After he refused to pay, I contacted my credit card company and told them what happened and they charged back the service. The finance comptroller contacted me and asked why we did the charge back and I went over all of this. All they did was to not fight the charge back but didnt pay any more of the repairs.

I would have given this dealership a 4 or so rating on the day we purchased our vehicle because the sales lady and finance guy were very friendly. However, our experience went down quickly after leaving the dealership and we had to deal with the general manager on some issues. First he pretty much ignored my texts asking for him to check on some issues. Then, he actually had the nerve to call me to chew me out for leaving an honest review on CarGurus (which we used to find our car) about our experience. So, until he can get some training about how to deal with the public or they get a new manager I would shop elsewhere!

I give 3 stars because I recently purchased a used Ford Explorer off the lot in January. By April, I was having transmission trouble and sent it to the shop to be repaired, that was a complete NIGHTMARE! Had a rebuilt transmission put in the car and was told it was ok, it was not! It stayed in the shop the first time over a month, never could get ahold of anyone with updates, when I did talk to someone, they were sent the wrong transmission..then another time after speaking to a guy, my transmission was stalled in Texas, then was delivered to Nashville.. by this point, I was already POD! got the car back nearly 2 months later with NO rental car and the explorer STILL had the same issues, sent it back only to still have the same trouble. Service dept is a total waste of time! Decided to trade the car in and Brandon E. helped us out and got us into a 2021 Escape! I will say, if you do not go with a new car from here, you will regret it!

Service Department has terrible service. Made a appt over a month ago to fix a recall. Take the car at appt time they tried to say that didn’t have anyone to do that, then when they figure we have app said it would take couple of days. Call to check in couple of days and I’m told it will take a week and their were more recalls but could not explain what they were, every time I spoke to someone they gave me different answers. I thought the ford place is supposed to have certified mechanics trained to do the job!!

I gave them 1 star because it would not give me the option to give them NEGATIVE stars. Until today I would have gave them 5 stars. My husband and I went there today to buy our son a truck. This would have made the 3rd truck we bought from them. When we were looking for my husband a truck about a year ago, we went back to Ford of Jasper because of the great experience we had with them in 2014 when we bought my FX4 Truck. Our salesman (Donnie Woods) who was wonderful ( but no longer works there) offered us..... free oil changes for life, along with detailing. On both my FX4 & the New truck we were looking at for MY husband, along with the payment amount/ number of payments we wanted. That sealed the deal & we bought the truck. Now the reason for todays bad review. We are in the market for a 3rd truck ( this one for our son) While we were there looking for a new truck we ask to speak to the manager (Mark) because the last 3 Times we have taken one of our trucks for there oil change, they have been giving us a HARD TIME about doing the detailing on them. He told us that he would not honor the deal that was made for the detailing of our 2 trucks. He said since he did not work there when the deal was made & the salesman that made the deal no longer works there, he would not honor the deal. So they lost not only that $12,000.00 we were going to spend for our sons truck but any future business from us down the road. As well as friends and familys business.

I would like to give 0 stars if I could. The worst service department in the South. Service rept. was on a personal phone call with four people standing in line for help. Then the first person in line said her car was ready because she saw it setting outside. He said he had to verify that. He left the service desk and was gone about four minutes. Instead of going back to the desk he picked up an aerosol can and walked to the other side of the shop. I waited another four minutes and he had not returned. So I told the other people in line they could stay longer but I was carrying my business elsewhere. I would never buy a vehicle from this dealership just knowing what I would have to face when I needed it serviced...

They said bring truck in Wednesday at 11, we left car their Tuesday phoned Wednesday not started on it, phoned today Thursday at 3 still not started on it. Going to speak to manager tomorrow this is unbelievable

I bought my Honda Pilot from there last week. It was an excellent experience. They were so friendly and efficient! Easiest car buying experience Ive had. The whole staff was wonderful! Definitely recommend Ford of Jasper for purchasing a vehicle.

They take FOREVER. We had a seat belt fixed in our Ford Escape, and it took them no less that 3 hours to finish. A man next to us had sat there a day before and waited for 5 hours and they couldnt even fix his problem. The workers walk around the shop floor doing absolutely nothing for extended amounts of time.

Being a woman, the idea of buying a vehicle without my husband there was a little nervous. But the salesman, Tony and John the manager and Tom in finance made me feel comfortable and at ease. They were friendly, professional, and went to all measures to make buying the truck an easy experience for me. The service manager, Joey, took very good care of me. I feel like I have made friends here. Would recommend Ford of Jasper to everyone I know!

I had to go in this past Thursday and have my airbag replaced because of a recall and a very nice guy name Joey helped me. He was very professional and so kind and patient... I had talked to him a couple of times on the phone before I went in for service and he was so nice and I felt bad about having to call him twice within just several minutes of each call and he told me it was not a problem and that was what he was there for and that was to help his customers and that I could call anytime. Such a nice guy. The service was quick and I only had to wait maybe 30 minutes. The sales people that were on the showroom floor were so kind too. I looked at cars for a bit while I was waiting and they were fun to talk to. My experience there was a great one and I had been there before a couple of times and did not have any problems at all then either. A great group of employees there. Thank you for your kindness and for being so helpful.

We had a great experience with Tony Mitchell at Ford of Jasper. He was so friendly, helpful and professional and worked hard to get us what we wanted at the price we needed. Tony did such a good job that we were able to get a new vehicle for myself and my mother-in-law got one, too. I would highly recommend Ford of Jasper to anyone looking for a good deal. It was worth the drive for us. And ask for Tony Mitchell!
