This is my 3rd tattoo and I was very nervous about having a visible tattoo. Alec was amazing and so down to earth! He even let me find my own font! He had patience with the placement of my tattoo and his work space is clean! He walked me through the entire process and I almost fell asleep because he is so gentle.I love my tattoo and it means so much to me to have this on me. His aftercare is great and I just loved the vibe of the shop.Major plus that he rides bikes!! They owner needs to keep him around for as long as possible!!

These guys are great I got my first tattoo here and I’m hooked for life! showed me different designs and fonts while having a good tattoo depends on how much you take care of it; they did there part for me and I could not be more satisfied I’ve had it since New Year’s Eve and absolutely in love with it will be back soon price was good they knew what they were doing very friendly super clean and could not ask for a better quality !!!

Brett did an amazing job with my tattoo and ear piercing! He was dedicated to making sure the idea I brought to him became a piece of art better suited for ink. The finished product ended up exceeding all my expectations. He does fast quality work and I know this because I see his art every day. I also took note that everyone I saw working there that night made it a point to comment on each others work. There is an obvious dedication to great work here. I will definitely be back for my next tattoo. Cant wait!

So far Ive gotten two tattoos and I absolutely love both. The owner is such a great artist. Even though he looks like he could snap you like a twig; he is a really cool person.

I was a walk in today and was met right away by an artist. He set me up with Jon and he absolutely exceeded all expectations. Jon’s motivation and enthusiasm is contagious. Jon tattooed a lighthouse on my ribs and his line work, shading and ideas are amazing. Couldn’t be any more pleased. The entire staff is extremely professional and I recommend to all. I will be getting more work done by Jon in the near future!

Did a walk-in tonight. I picked this place because I think the name is cool and theyre open late. Matt Moore was my artist and he did a great job! I had an idea in mind and he drew it up just how I imagined it, then did an outstanding job of putting the ink down. Also they were cool to talk to and made me feel at ease. Although Ive gotten tattoos from places around the country, I felt most comfortable in this shop. I highly recommend this shop! Thanks Matt, you did a great job!

Amazing place to get a tattoo. I got my first tattoo here and the artist was great. I forgot his name but I believe it was Bret or Brent? Something along those lines. His line work is stupendous and shading is out of this world. Definitely would make another appointment for my next one.

I was in Jacksonville on business and randomly decided I wanted a tattoo. Had no clue what I wanted but knew I wanted one. I walk in about an hour before close and meet Will. I told him what was going on and as he finished up with the guy in front of me I developed an idea of what I wanted. Will took it, ran, and created something much more beautiful than I could have imagined. He is a fantastic artist and will forever and always have my business. Just got a new tattoo from Jon. Not only did I get a great tattoo but he also fixed an old tattoo that was messed up. At a reasonable price. They are all very friendly and work with me. I am completely ecstatic about my tattoos. Jon put his heart and soul into his work. I highly recommend Jon.

The shop itself felt very homey! I like that when you can walk into a shop and feel comfortable immediately. I got a feather tattoo on my side representing Psalm 91:3-4 and Will was fantastic on being lenient with what I wanted! He is a realistic tattoo artist so anything you want that looks real, obviously, he is your guy. Prices are GREAT. The price guaranteed me getting the tattoo that day instead of waiting. They are good with walk ins and just make you feel comfy. Had a great expierence and will definitely be coming back to get all of my tattoos in the future. Recommend it to anyone.

Got my first tattoo here on the top of my foot. Love it. Brett did it. Really cool guy and great artist. The photo attached is around 6 or 7 months old, it healed up quick and quite nicely, Ill definitely come back and get another.

I got a small tattoo from the owner of the shop and he was absolutely amazing and hilarious. the staff there was very helpful and answered any questions that i had. good pricing and it was a very easy process when i walked in without an appointment. would definitely go back and recommend.

Very proffesional and well-mannered people. When I went there for a tattoo the guy offered me pizza if I was hungry. My tattoo from them looks amazing, and my cousin got his septum pierced which looks very well done. Plus, if they love your tattoo idea, they may draw it a different way for you and most likely make it look 20x better(only if you want, theyll keep your idea if you dont like it). Either way, great people, know what theyre doing, try asking for Brett. He did a great job on my tattoo and cousins piercing.

Brett is amazing!!! I went to get my septum pierced and take my teenager to her industrial pierced and he was very easy going. I am not sure what technique he uses but I did not feel the needle go through my nose. If you want to get any out of the ordinary piercings he is the guy to go to. I am going back to get a tattoo his portfolio is impressive.

As soon as I walked in I felt a home vibe and felt comfortable. If you want a tattoo ask for Brett he did a awesome job on my tat and I will Be back for more from him. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I scheduled an appointment a week before my tattoo so when I got there I was ready to go. I got there, and I had to wait probably over an hour for my tattoo artist to finish with the previous customer. But when I got called back, everything was smooth sailing from there. My tattoo probably took a shorter time to complete than me actually waiting for him to call me back. As far as the tattoo goes, I have no complaints. He did an excellent job, was sterile, and was pleasant to be around. The shop is clean, has an autoclave, and everyone there seems to be pretty friendly. I would definitely recommend this shop to other people because at the end of the day its about the work and my tattoo came out excellent!

I HIGHLY reccomend this shop for tattoos and piercings! The body piercer, Erin, was very nice and personable. Made me feel very comfortable and minimal pain on my daith piercing. As far as artists. YES I LOVE THEM. The guy who did my 2 Friday the 13 tattoos I think his name was Alec? Also very personable and nice. This place is fantastic. 2 of my friends and myself have tats that we still love to this day from these guys. That was from at least 7 years ago and they still look great.

I had my nipples pierced by Nolan and he was really experienced and did an amazing job it was so quick and he was careful. He was great and I recommend him for any kind of piercing. Im pretty sure hes great with tattoos I dont just didnt end up getting one this time.

This shop does high quality work. The artists are great and professional. The shop is very clean and organized. My wife and I have both had work done and are very happy and will be back. I highly recommend them.

I got an industrial piercing here. The piercer was really nice, but I dont think he knew what he was doing. He didnt pierce my cartilage like he was supposed to on the top part of my ear, and instead he pierced my tissue and the tissue started turning purple and dying because of it. He also didnt measure my ear before piercing it, so the bar didnt fit the curve of my ear and the skin on the bottom part of the piercing tried to grow back into the shape it should have been regardless of whether or not there was a bar in the ear because the bar and its angle should have fit the ear, but it couldnt because the bar was at the wrong angle so it started bubbling up and the skin was folding over itself as it grew back. I had to take the entire piercing out and am now out the $75 I paid to have it done. 10/10 would not recommend this place if youre looking for someone who knows what theyre doing.

Needed some 10 gauge horseshoes. The piercer was friendly, helpful and quick. Its difficult to find body jewelry at a lot of piercing businesses and they had. We will check this place out when it comes to the want for more ink or piercings.

I got tattooed for the cancer fundraiser this weekend. WHAT AN AMZING EVENT! All the artists did amazing work that will last a lifetime. I LOVE the lipstick and dagger done by matt miller! Too bad this shop is socially irresponsible. Never been tattoed or pierced here but I find it terribly disheartening that a business would be so blase to their employees engaging in hateful speech. To each their own, just some knowledge to know about the mentality of the individuals at this shop.

Candy Cakes is the BOMB!!!! After reading all the reviews and checking out a few other parlors, I decided to make a trip to A Fu Kein Good Tattoo. I met Candy Cakes and she is one of the warmest people Ive met in any of the Jacksonville tattoo parlors. She is so knowledgeable and really does give you that warm and fuzzy feeling, making a piercing experience GREAT. Vanessa Vixen is Awesome also!!! Shes a piercer but had never done a cheek/dimple piercing before. She is such a perfectionist and I LOVED IT!!!!! They say dimple piercings dont come out evenly, but I have to disagree, mine are EXACTLY EVEN!!! If anyone is considering getting a piercing for the first time, I would say GO TO CANDY CAKES!!!!! However, find peace in knowing that ALL THE PIERCERS IN A FU KEIN GOOD TATTOO ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE. I will be back, thanks for readingCoco

I had a fu kein good experience at A Fu Kein Good Tattoo! My sister wives and I spent a magical evening that we will never forget with your piercer, Carlos. His music selection is on point and really put us at ease while we were getting our piercings. We all love our rook piercings and received great instructions on how to care for our piercings. Now that Im addicted to piercings, we will definitely be visiting Carlos & A Fu Kein Good Tattoo in the near future!

Meant to do this a lot sooner! my experience here was just absolutely amazing. I wouldnt wanna go anywhere else. I had just turned 18 in February and this was the 3rd shop I had been to about my first tattoo. Raynelle was amazing with me. I told her I wanted a zombie panda and she did an amazing job doing it. I wanted more cute then scary so we changed organs into bear stuffing. she took such good care of me. walked me through it and after care and everything. she also did my wrist which turned out amazing. she warned me that towards the center would be a little bit more tender so I wasnt surprised or anything when she got closer to it. I had already told a couple of my friends to go there. I may still be a kid but they didnt treat me like a joke like the other places did. I plan to get my third tattoo done here also. Raynelle, youre amazing♥ and I dont think I said it enough!

Nathan Menke did such a great job on my tattoo. Not only was it a great tattoo, it was a great experience. I think I have found my tattoo artist and will be coming back very soon, hopefully with some friends.

I got both of my tattoos here recently, the first by Matt and the second two weeks later by Mike. The shop is clean, everyone was friendly, and it felt just like home. I would recommend this place to anyone whether youre going to get your first tattoo or if you just want to add more amazing ink or piercings on your body. :-)

Im sure they do a great job here. IF you can get a hold of them. While certain people seem personable they seem very unprofessional. I have to wonder then about the cleanliness and safety if something as small as the hours and professionalism seem compromised. Hepatitis anyone..? Go here if you think you can actually been seen and work with the real few jewels that are employed here. The others are just plain rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to my friends and have warned them.

I’m not normally one to review but I noticed someone say they believe the piercer hadn’t done piercings before and they got theirs done on Oct 27, 2018. I got my cartilage pierced and my friend got her cartilage pierced Oct 16, 2018 by the only piercer they had there and he had his license on the wall and had stories about previous piercings. AND he was amazing. I did research and called ahead of time to tons of places and these guys were the only nice ones. Jimmy (the gypsy) did my piercings. I was really scared because I don’t like needles and he talked to me and waited and when I was about to pass out he was helping me Lay down and bringing me water. Not to mention the whole process ended up taking over an hour because of me panicking and he never complained.I had questions and called back a few weeks later and he answered them all gladly. So I believe the person who left that review was dreaming something up or on the wrong page. Even the guy on the couch was extremely nice to me and engaging in conversation while my friend and I waited on each other. (I believe his name was click or something to that affect. He was the tattoo artist there that night) To the person who thinks the place isn’t great, that’s a fu kein line of bull. All these guys are fu kein great!

I have been getting tattooed by Bruce over 20 years and I am still going back, I have work from many of his other artists as well over the years, great tattoos in a great environment.

We went as a walk in with a tattoo that needed a cover up and an idea. The staff were friendly and chill from the moment we walked in. They took us after the walk in before us. It didnt take longer than 30 min for the wait. It only took an hour for the tattoo (which looks awesome) The owner was lighthanded and told us the price before hand and stuck with his word (which is hard to find nowadays) If I lived around here this is one place I would go. You cant go wrong here and especially At a fair and decent price. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a great piece and someone who knows what to do to stop here.

Its pretty cool because we had art class in Mr. Nolans art class and I remember doing art work when we were so young and now hes following the love for art he has and actually doing something with it and giving people AHHMAZING artwork. My best friend and I contacted this place and spoke with Nolen about a custom designed tattoo. He said he could do it with a few changes. We agreed. Once the tattoo was intial completed it looked great. We then realized he left a part out that we agreed to put in there he said he could not fix it. And he scared me and once it healed the color of my bbf tattoo is missing in areas. And my color looks black when it was hot pink to begin with. We told him about it he wouldnt fix it.

I had my tattoo done by John . He is super good, Clean, And makes you feel comfortable while getting your tattoo . The environment is super cool, Its like SY-FY . Haha . But Im defiantly going to see john again for my second tattoo.

If you are looking to get a piercing this is the place and Carlos is your guy! I had been wanting microdermal piercings in my lower back for a while but I was always just too nervous. I finally picked a date and place and was ready to go for it. However when I got there the piercer informed me that she had not perfected the dermal piercing technique but she would still do the piercing for me. I declined I wanted someone who was confident and experienced with these piercings and thats exactly what I found in Carlos. When I first arrived at the shop I was still super nervous about the piercing but when he talked to me about his 3+ years experience with the specific type of piercing I wanted and was readily able to answer any questions and concerns I had, I knew I was in the right place. Talking to him made every fear I had disappear. He was very clean and comforting and did the piercing very quickly. He was very imformative about after care for the piercing and told me that if I had any questions or anything to not hesitate to call. I actually popped up at the shop 2 days after I had the piercing done just so he could take a look and make sure I was cleaning it properly and assure that everything was ok. He cleaned it up for me and told me everything looked great. Overall I love the shop and everyone in it especially Carlos lol. Theyre all so friendly and know their stuff and the prices and VERY reasonable. I will definitely be a returning customer.

While in Jacksonville Florida on business the other day we were shopping around at tattoo shops. We had 2 years previously used a shop in Jacksonville beach that came highly recommended. This was our first stop. We are a mature couple.....note: I did not say older........anyhow, we needed guidance, suggestions, ideas etc. on what we were wanting. Now....there was only one person in this shop getting a tattoo that day. There were other artists in the shop. A book was shoved under our nose and we was told to look at it and the guy walked off. So, we walked out. We visited several more shops between Jacksonville and all the way down to Daytona. SAME FREAKING STORY!!!! When we got back to Jacksonville and was heading to the hotel I did a search on my phone for shops in JAX. A Fu Kein shop came up. The name tickled me so much that we decided we had to go there even if it was only to check in on FB. We walked in, a guy ask if he could help us, I showed him my foot and told him I wanted ideas on how to cover it up. He ask me why I was covering it up. I told him I was not happy with it. He ask me if I minded if he used a sharpie and drew on it for a minute and if I didnt like it, he would wipe it off. I said sure, no problem. When he was done, I was SHOCKED! No one had EVER taken those few minutes to show a different way to look at it! I had NO plans to get a tattoo that night. I immediately told him to do it!! Long story short......before the week was out, we had made 2 trips to the shop....had all the repair work done on my two tattoos and my fiances 2 tattoos! We also had the pleasure of having Sofia Estrella Olivieri do tats for both of us! I dont know how to give this shop 10 STAR rating, but it TOTALLY DESERVES IT!!! This Texas girl will ALWAYS go back to A Fu Kein Good Tattoo! AND yes, I have at least twomore that I want!!
