Excellent service! I was a bit nervous about buying my first car in several years, but the experience could not have been better. I was treated respectfully at every interaction, from the moment I walked in the door... through purchase. Never felt pressured or taken advantage of financially- and especially as a woman, this really mattered a great deal to me. I needed a car quickly, and spent less than two hours at the dealership- walked out with a new vehicle. Respectful, seamless service. Highly recommend.

Brought my car in for a leaking sunroof. The service tech told me nothing was leaking and I needed to provide evidence of the leak. I left the dealership for the car wash and within 30 seconds of washing my car I noticed the leak. I sent the video to the service manager and he told me to bring it in. Here’s where it gets interesting….I drop the car off the following Tuesday at 1030am and got a call at 5:30pm from the service tech saying they couldn’t find any leaks. I showed him the video. He said because it’s leaking inside the track there’s nothing they can do to fix it. (Clearly a seal issue)Only after showing him the video, The service tech said he noticed the sunroof isn’t sitting flush and he adjusted it. The first words out of his mouth when I walked in was “What I did will probably make it worse, I’ve been doing this for 3 years and all sunroofs leak”I called Chrysler and they ensured me sunroofs under manufacture warranty ARE NOT suppose to leak. The car is still under the 3 year 36k mile warranty. The service tech’s attitude and unwillingness to fix the issue was the worst I’ve ever experienced. To tell a customer sunroofs are suppose to leak is astonishing. Do most leak? Probably. Are they suppose to? Absolutely NOT! Especially not in vehicles less than 2 years old. The reviews about the service department are 100% true. Their techs are the worst in the industry and the entire service department takes a hit. Darrell was extremely helpful and tried his best to fix this but ultimately it’s up to the tech. I bought my car from Hendricks in Wilmington and will go there for all future appointments.

I made an appointment to drop my vehicle off at 0800 in the morning. I was very specific in establishing the maintenance procedures to be performed. The service representative sent a text message to my phone stating that he would keep me updated on the status of my vehicle. I was informed that my vehicle would be done in 2.5-3hrs. The dealership did provide a shuttle service that I used to go to work. I requested an update on the status of my vehicle around 2 in the afternoon and did not receive a reply. At around 3:00 in the afternoon I attempted to call the dealership and finally got someone on the line after my third or fourth attempt. I was informed that my vehicle should be, completed by around 5:45 in the evening. I spoke to the General Manager about this situation and was told that there was some confusion about exactly what services were to be performed. This was a routine maintenance visit for an oil change, tire rotation, flush and fill the transmission, and change fuel filters. I was charged $695. I made an appointment for the specific purpose of not wasting a lot of my day waiting at the dealership. In addition to wasting my time and interfering with my ability to take care of my family, the dealer apparently used fluids that are not up to the maintenance standards established by the manufacturer. The maintenance manual for the vehicle specifies appropriate fluids and maintenance intervals. This dealership used unspecified lubricants and set the maintenance interval at half of the manufacturers specification. I would not recommend using this dealership. They do not communicate. They do not follow the maintenance recommendations of the vehicle manufacturer. They do charge you the same price that the recommended products cost. This is one of the worst customer service experiences that I have ever had.

Was kinda hectic buying a car here. Didn’t disclose I bought a car that was in a previous mild/severe accident. I had bought the car last February from here. I noticed a weird noise coming from the front fender, it was broken. I had called the person I bought it from and I got blamed for it. The only plus was the GM giving me a discount but now I know why. Really wish I listened to everyone about buying from here.

I purchased a Buick Cascada from National Dodge. I was leery to buy a vehicle without seeing it first since I live in Pennsylvania. However, because the availabilty of this type of car is limited, I decided to take a chance. The gentlemen who delivered my car were kind and helpful.Upon receiving my car, I notice minor fender damage. In defense of the dealership, the damage was easy to overlook. I call National Dodge to let them know of the situation. Without hesitation, they agreed to pay for the repairs. The managers, sales people, and office workers were all great to deal with. The car is beautiful!! Many thanks!!

Every time I attempt to give the Jacksonville location another chance I am reminded that the long drive to Wilmington’s Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep is worth the extra expense and time. The lack of professionalism and basic knowledge absolutely blows my mind. The Jacksonville store seems to operate on the principle of because there is such a high volume of DOD personal that quality can be sacrificed and the moral compass in not necessary. Make the trip to Wilmington.

I have bought two vehicles from the dealership over the past couple of years. After buying the first vehicle I said I wouldn’t go back because of the salesmen and the finical manager were difficult to work with. Then thinking after 4 years, I would give it another try. The salesman I worked with was very helpful but after having the van I just purchased a month later, I am having to put $1100 in repair cost into it. I will not be going back for a third vehicle.Edit: I did receive a call from the GM and he assured me that they would take care of the issue with my vehicle which they did. I feel they took care of the customer even after the car was driven off the lot.

I wrote off the extremely long wait times to the comforting thought that they were taking their time to be thorough. Last visit in I was due for an oil change and tire rotation. They forgot to rotate my tires but did spend an extra hour performing a recall that they told me would take less than 10 minutes. Total wait for an oil change and 10 minute recall? 3 hours.(WITH AN APPOINTMENT THAT I WAITED 2 WEEKS FOR!!) I was told that since they messed up that this time I would get a free detail. Made me feel quite a bit better that they seemed to care they made a mistake. Brought my vehicle back today for oil change, tire rotation, and detail and a mere 2 hours later my vehicle was returned to me with only the outside cleaned even though my ticket said detail completed and with a tire still low even though I specifically mentioned it when dropping the vehicle off. There was a 23 point inspection listed on my ticket as well. Through all of this my dash was actually set to the tire pressure indicator screen which means that when my tires were rotated and they reset the gauges to show tires in their new locations it is IMPOSSIBLE that the technician didnt see that the tire was low. This time Ive been offered a free oil change and another free detail. It would almost take a conscious effort to continually screw things up this badly. Perhaps this is their plan so that I dont use those oil changes that came free with the truck.

Today my wife and I switch our RAM purchasing and servicing to National Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM in Jacksonville, NC from our previous RAM dealership (who will not be named). Our old dealership had our loyalty for the past 8 years (and 9 vehicles). If that does not tell you how satisfied we were with National, then please allow me to explain. The short of it is, my wife and I were very pleased with the overall servicing experience and purchasing experience of our new 2020 RAM 3500; National has a new loyal customer in us. We highly recommend them and will be hopefully doing business with them for years to come. Thank you to Brandon (service), Gwain and Chris (sales), and Ryan (Director of Operations) for such a great experience today.Below is a more detailed reason why we gave National a five-star rating.Initial we were taking our RAM 3500 in for an oil change/tire rotation, so I called and spoke with Service Advisor Brandon on Wednesday. Was able to arrange a Saturday morning appointment with ease and were able to also order a part to repair a recall for our RAM; convenient and quick scheduling is a must for us because we would be traveling an hour to have it serviced.Next, spoke Chris H. (Sales Manager) about possibly test driving a 2020 RAM 3500 on Saturday, but wanted to do it as soon as we arrived for our service appointment. He was able to arrange a Sales Consultant, Gawaine J, to meet with us at 0830; which is prior to the dealership opening I must mention. National worked around our schedule to make this happen for my wife and I without hesitation.Met with Gawain, who we highly recommend, and he took us on the test drive, answered all our questions, and took our request/demands to the Chris H. After a couple hours of serious negotiating a deal was finally agreed upon. Gawain worked hard for us and made sure our new RAM 3500 was prepped for us to take home today (detailed, DEF and fueled filled, and assisted us with transferring personal items from trade to new). However, the best is yet to come. Earlier in the morning we were introduced to Ryan B (Direct of Operations) and spoke with him about how are experience was going so far. After signing all the papers with finance, my wife was upset about a small matter, which did not deter us from purchasing the vehicle. She voiced her concern to me, but I felt that the dealership needed to hear it. I was able to approach Ryan B and asked him if he would listen to my wife’s concern. Without hesitation, he said yes and spoke with her. Unlike my previous dealership “higher ups”, Ryan took my wife’s concern seriously and stated he would look into it and comeback to her to follow up. True to his word, he found us outside when we were transferring personal items and spoke with my wife about her concern and a resolution for it. This was above and beyond for someone in Ryan’s position and made us feel like we were not just another customer to the dealership.

Do NOT take your vehicle here! They charge for items that they do not replace. i had my truck in for service due to electrical issues and was told the first time it just needed to be reprogramed and wouldnt be any cost to me. but the day after i got my truck back the issue returned and was back at the dealership. a week goes by and was told i need to replace my TIPM and would cost me $2300. so after 2 weeks of delays because their technician was out sick multiple times, i get a phone call that my truck was ready for pick up. once i get to the dealership and i get my truck back i go to drive off and the abs and check engine light was one and when i went back into the service department to tell them about the issue i was told it would be an additional $2300 to replace the wire harness and the abs module. i opted for them to just REPLACE the wire harness and they did so. and the truck had no issues at all. amazing right? but the weekend before the Monday i picked my truck up it was broken into at the dealership and items were stolen from the truck. and when i brought up what they were going to do about the break in they told me we are no liable and you will have to contact your insurance. and that they dont have any cameras on their property. and to add insult to injury i get home for the holidays and was cleaning the truck and must have moved the wire harness under the carpet and found out the wire harness they replaced was spliced together and had open wires. so where did my money go if i didnt even get the service/product i paid for? i will be in contact with the corporate office and the BBB.

Brought our 2014 Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel in for the latest recall for the EGR cooler. Our Jeep also has a failed intake manifold (check engine light was on for this) caused by the EGR cooler failure which is all supposed to be repaired at the same time. Took the Jeep in the end of January, was told EGR cooler and intake manifold needed to be ordered. No correspondence until March 24 when I call and was told to bring it in Monday March 29 for the recall repairs. Was told vehicle would be done in a day. So day goes by, didnt hear anything. My wife called and was told it would be ready by the end of the day. She had to make a trip to Sams Club anyway so no big deal. She leaves New Bern and heads that way. I get a message at 5:05pm stating Jeep isnt ready due to stuck bolts in the intake manifold, and shes most of the way there. So, again not a huge deal...itll be ready next day. So next day, we get there late. Service department is closed. Sales department was super friendly and helped us get the key so we could go home. I notice on the receipt no documentation of the intake manifold. Ok... Wife gets in, we dont make it out of the parking lot and the check engine light is back on. Get home, pop hood. Remove engine cover. Nice shiny new EGR cooler...old, still broken intake manifold. Great. Now that the recall has been labelled complete, Im stuck replacing the intake manifold at my expense. I had the pleasure of working with Nick. Not only was he understanding as to what I wanted, but he was authentic and helped the process go a lot faster. Literally went to the dealership, got the car I wanted and finished the purchase. He likes to get to know his customers so he can tailor his suggestions to their wants and needs. He asks and he will ask again to ensure he puts you in the vehicle you desire. I bought my first car last year and was swindled so I was hesitant to work with another car salesman but Nick definitely made me feel secure regarding my purchase. He stayed in contact to make sure the vehicle was the vehicle I wanted and that I did not just settle. He is a true representation of what it means to care about your customers more than caring about money. I STRONGLY recommend National, but most importantly I recommend seeing Nick to get you in the car you want. He has such a vivacious personality and there will never be a dull moment. My husband and I brought his 2011 Dodge Ram to National on 1/9/21. We told the service department we had brought it to them from Crom Transmission. His truck was throwing a transmission sensor code, Crom checked it out and told us the problem was electrical or wiring with nothing to do with the transmission. The week of 1/11/21, Kitrell reached out to my husband to approve an additional 2 hours of diagnostic time for a total of 3 hours at $375. I called on Tuesday 1/19/21 and spoke with Kim. She informed me a part had came in over the weekend for another vehicle that had arrived before ours so the technician would be completing that vehicle first then start on our truck Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday. I told her that was fine. On Friday morning 1/22/221 my husband received a text from Kitrell saying the tech has a vehicle to complete and then his truck will be coming in. Then another text came late that afternoon stating his dispatcher informed him the tech would be starting on our truck on Monday 1/25/21.I called Thursday 1/28/21, requested to speak with the service manager and was sent to his voicemail. Less than 30 minutes later my husband received a call telling him there was no charge and that he needs to take the truck to somewhere else that specializes in electrical. We go to pick up our truck on Friday 1/29/21 and the battery is dead. My husband is commercial fisherman and routinely leaves his truck parked for 5-10 days at a time while he is offshore. He never once had an issue with a dead battery when he returned. They attempted to jump it and it didn’t work. As if already having our truck for 3 weeks with nothing done on it wasn’t bad enough, we were told it would be at least 30 minutes before it would be ready as they were going to charge the battery. My husband complained loud enough for the service department to exchange batteries. Now on Monday 2/1/21 our truck was dropped off at Mike Toler in Morehead City. Tuesday my husband received a call as to what was wrong and the part was ordered. The part arrived Wednesday and his truck was ready to be picked up Thursday. In 96 hours the guys at Mike Toler did what National couldn’t do in 3 weeks. We will never step foot back at National and will be sending everyone we know to Mike Toler.

I recently bought a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 from John Heister Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in lillington, NC back in early July. (Exceptional trustworthy and honest dealership who cares about their customers) if you are looking for a good experience.Being as I bought a 2019 and it had sat on a lot for almost a year I decided to go to National Dodge on July 31st to get the oil changed and 23 point inspection. Being as they are my local dealer I was not going to drive 2 hours to the dealership I purchased it from. I had an early morning appt and was sitting there probably 2 hours or more before my service was complete. When the service agent came to get me to pay for my service he proceeded to tell me that my automatic air dam was missing. I asked well isnt this covered by my bumper to bumper warranty and all they told me was simply no. He said the part would be $650 and that it would require 1.5 hours of labor.Well I proceeded to call the dealership where i bought the truck and they told me to come on out and they would look at it and get a ticket done up for me. Fast forward a week by the time I could make it and the service manager came out to the truck to take a look. He confirmed yes it was indeed missing and looked at me and said That should be covered by your factory warranty. I was slightly angered by this and told him how my local dealer national told me it was not covered. He replied there is no reason it should not be as there is no sign of it being caused by you, and that it appears as though it was just component malfunction/defect. So John heister dealership told me the part was on backorder and that they would order it and they would gladly replace it for me when it came in at no cost being as it was covered under warranty. Prior to setting me up an appointment they went above and beyond and tried contacting national to try and get them to be honest and have some integrity and come good for the repair because it is covered and that is the chrysler way. Well needless to say their attempts were unsuccessful and I ended up going back to John heister when the part came in to get it replaced.Following all of this I contacted Chrysler corporation about the experince I had. It wasnt until chrysler got in contact with National dodge that they told me National tried to say that it was caused by myself which certainly was not the case and that is why they would not cover it. If one dealership could see that it was no fault of my own and cover everything under warranty then National Dodge should have had some integrity and honesty and put the customer first and came good for what was rightfully covered by warranty. If you want a dealership that does not care about the customer first, and is dishonest with overpriced vehicles than National dodge is the place for you.

Nick Gradus sold me my new truck today and everyone at the dealership was willing to work the perfect deal for me! Nick went above and beyond his duty to ensure we had the smoothest car buying experience as possible along with being very professional he was very attentive to all the details that I had wanted.I recommend this dealership to anyone who may be in the market for a new vehicle.

I recently made a purchase at National Dodge and was helped by Nick. He seemed like a genuinely good guy and wasn’t pushy at all. I also worked with Ryan as far as trade in and some follow up work on the vehicle I purchased. He made ever effort to make this deal happen for both our benefits. I have made some really good deals in the past but I was always able to find leverage. There was none here, they priced the vehicle on the low end of a fair deal and gave me high end trade on mine. I don’t feel they could have been anymore accommodating. I also took three days in making my decision and was allowed that time. Additionally, it has been quite sometime since I shopped in Jacksonville due to the stereo type of dealers taking advantage of the military. This was a pleasant surprise and I would recommend to give National a shot when purchasing a vehicle. Especially if your Mopar or no car!

From start to finish was a great experience. Our sales professional was Jessica and she was outstanding. I was late for my appointment but she still stopped what she was doing to help us. Got the car we wanted, at the price we wanted and even feed us lunch! I will definitely be going back for all future purchases.

Nick is good to go. He did not try and talk me into something I did not want. He did not try and find me some work truck that has no options. He laid things straight out. He continued to show me things that were worth the money. I told him where I wanna be and he stayed in that range. This is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased from National Dodge, and I have never had a problem. Not to mention I got a Thank You note in my mailbox 2 days later from him. That is something you do not see a lot anymore.

My wife and I were in the market for a minivan after having recently rented the Pacifica for some family trips. We looked at the Honda, the Toyota and the Dodge to compare, but she found the New Pacifica the easiest to drive and most versatile for our needs. We couldnt be happier with deal and the customer service and attention we were given at National. It was one of the smoothest automobile transactions Ive ever been involved with, and to say Ive had a lot would be quite an understatement. Shane Wilkins and David Caddell took phenomenal care of us, answering all of our questions and making us feel like our satisfaction was the most important part of the deal! We were so pleased I went back and purchased a SECOND vehicle the following week. I would highly recommend this dealership, and especially these two gentlemen to handle your new or preowned vehicle purchases!

I’m only giving this dealership 2 stars, most of the staff are very courteous. However the sales manager has not been very professional. When I bought my car from them I was told I had Sirius already in my vehicle. The next day I went to use it and there was no Sirius. Brought it back to the dealership where they tried telling me I misunderstood what I was told. Finally they agreed to pay for my Sirius adapter (which I’m still waiting for a month later). I have never dealt with so much unprofessionalism from a car dealership before.

Recently my wife and I just purchased a used 2016 Dodge Ram Big Horn 4x4 from National Dodge and we had an outstanding experience. We were helped by a salesman named Nick. Nick was more than helpful, he was patient. I would consider myself to be a little picky when it comes to choosing a new vehicle and I shopped around quite a bit. We noticed all the other sales people were pushy and trying to sell us a vehicle that was outside our discussed price range, this in turn put a bad taste in those specific dealerships. Nick was by far the best salesman to help us and we made him work for it too! Great service, great vehicles, and an overall fantastic experience.

I called to set an appointment to fix a coolant leak that was spilling on my driveway. The service clerk told me that there were no time slots until next month. I asked her if I was to allow my car to leak on my driveway for two weeks and she said YES. That’s is as incompetent as it gets and subpar service. The fact that your service clerks didn’t understand the gravity of my situation is mind blowing. I will never use your dealership again.

When I called to make my appointment for a regular oil change I should have just stopped there. I used the automated system to reach the service department. It rang and rang and rang. Then I was directed to the receptionist only to be put on hold for several minutes waiting for someone in service to pick up. Finally Mike Waller answered my call. We set up an appointment for 130pm two days later. Here it is 2 days later and I meet Mike. I unfortunately arrived 4 minutes late for my appointment time. Now to Mike... Not the most cordial nor did he seem to want me as a repeat customer. No smile, no small talk, no questions if I have any further concerns or questions about my vehicle or services offered. He did ask if I needed a tire rotation or anything else. Well Mike, my van has 60k on it and I would like to be advised on what services I should be concerned with. I.E. transmission flush, coolant flush and so on. Mike does get my Van pulled up and off to get a mere oil change quickly.I get directed over to the waiting area where I sit and play on my phone. Time passes by, and Im waiting.... and waiting.... and waiting. At 2:55 they call my name to pay for my vehicle. So it took them 1.5hrs to change the oil in my van? 1.5 HOURS!!?? I could do it in less one than that, I just dont like having to dispose of my oil and filter. When I took my vehicle to the dealership in another state. we would wait in the same room as the service advisors. They would make small talk and check on us, or assure us we were being taken care of. Here they separate us and make me feel like they dont care. Also, at my previous dealership they would attach an inspection sheet with check marks in all the areas the mechanic checked. Whether the mechanic actually looked at those areas or not is unknown, but that little piece of paper made me feel better.I will never come back to this dealership for anything service related. Not it I can do it at a quick lube style location or myself. Ill pay more elsewhere if neededPros: The oils change was cheapEdit**I forgot to mention that they were kind enough to leave the floor mat paper in my vehicle for my use.... (Im being sarcastic. I dont need extra trash to throw out)

Bob is an honest gentleman that works here! Although we walked out of the dealership empty handed, Bob stuck with us and was working with what WE had to offer to get us a good deal. He wasnt able to work with his boss to give us the price that seemed fair (comparative to the market - National priced their vehicles a bit higher than surrounding dealerships and wouldnt budge). It was reassuring that he did his job to the best of his ability and was very professional. Thanks Bob!
