The store was clean and had a good selection of games, collectable and accessories. The only probably was the smell. It smelled like mold and bad B.O the moment I walked in.

FedEx said I can’t schedule to pick up at a local facility because GameStop has a special order instruction. Gamestop won’t answer the phone to help with the issue and make the order so I can edit how my package is received. Console was scheduled to be delivered the 20th now says the 2nd when it’s sitting in a warehouse 1.1 miles away from me. Safe to say I won’t be using GameStop for future purchases.

I stood in line for 4 hours for the Xbox series x only to be told that people that didn’t preorder had their names on a piece of paper and also left the store had the right to an Xbox series x again without preorder. People had left chairs in attended for those 4 hours and then came back without a preorder and was able to skip the line as well. This is totally unfair for the people willing to stand in line for the amount of hours only to be turned away due to pour business practices.

Awesome Sales representatives.I had hard time with Game stop in Frank ford road all the time with my purchases and fortunately visited this store in MacArthur blvd. They had wonderful sales reps. They welcome you big smile and answer all your queries with out hesitating.

Was greeted as soon as I walked in. Asked me what I was looking for. Showed me what I was looking for and answered questions. Quick check out. Great service.

This store does not have the minimum courtesy towards customers. I went to trade in an Xbox for cash and on the first day they said they dont have cash and to walk in the next day. we call them the next day and walk in again and to find out that they dont have cash again. The manager denied that we called on the stores phone number and it must be another store. I come back home and call the same number and ask where they are located and they say that they dont recall talking in the morning and that they did not say they would trade in. Is this a joke? If this is a franchise, the corporation better cancel the license of this place or hire better managers.

Didnt care for my experience here. Was one employee who was not very helpful. Had to repeatedly ask to get what was needed. Ended up going to another GameStop. Store was great, service was very inadequate.

Theres a cashier thats in his early teens. Not sure his name but hes African American. He really loves his job and you can see that with the smile hell give you and spark a conversation about the items youve picked about. Managers, give this guy a raise or a promotion, you dont always get these kind of employees. As for customers, definitely shop here if you need excellent customer service.

Within literally 2 minutes of walking in I find 2 games for my son. I make it to the register just to wait almost 30 minutes for them to only find one of the two games I chose. Very friendly staff of 2 people however no discounts or any accommodations for wasting so much of my time.

Manager Jay is rude and doesnt even follow company policy. I mean I know you work a dead end job and youll be out of a job soon since Gamestop is having financial issues but at least attempt to care about your lame job.Managers like Jay are ONE of many reasons why Gamestop doesnt get the foot traffic is used to. Ripping people off and hiring people like Jay who cant read the back of a receipt without changing company policy on the fly as he sees fit is why this company is a dumpster fire.

Horrible pre-order customer service experience!!I pre-ordered a game at this location and the store manager Jay told me earlier this month that I would be able to pick it up yesterday. However, when I went here to pick up the game, Jay told me that they had sold the game to someone else. He then claimed that he didnt remember me, that he didnt remember talking to me, and that he never would have told me that they could hold the game that long.Its just ridiculous. I have been a longtime GameStop customer and I have spent so much money at this store, and at other GameStop locations. I have been a good customer here, and I followed their instructions with the pre-order and made the required deposit for the game. When I was unable to pick it up on release day, I acted responsibly and called them to ask that they hold the game until 12/21. Over the phone, Jay promised that they would hold the game until 12/21, and that it would be at the store for me to pick up at that time. However, this turned out to be a lie because they sold the game to someone else.Not only did the manager Jay lie to me on the phone, but he also refused to do more to compensate me for the loss. The game I pre-ordered was a Christmas gift, and it is sold out online. When I said that I still wanted the game, Jay and an associate at the store said they could order from one store that still had a copy, but they refused to ship the game overnight to guarantee delivery before Christmas. They also did not offer any kind of discount or in-store credit for my inconvenience.I have been a loyal customer at this store and I have spent so much money here prior to this experience. I followed the instructions for participating in the pre-order, and there were no rules in the pre-order preventing the game from being held until 12/21. I paid the deposit and they promised that the game would be there for me to pick up, yet they sold it to someone else without telling me. They took my money, lied to me, and then I got nothing in return.The low level of customer service that I received here is shocking. I will no longer be shopping at this GameStop location. As a lifelong gamer, I realize that there are many other merchants to buy video games from. I never experienced bad video game customer service like this at Best Buy, Walmart, or Target. I will choose to buy from them from now on, and I will never buy from this GameStop again.

Wow. Great staff behind the counter this day. I traded in my old xbox one for am xbox one x. The clerk brought out the version that came bundled with PUBG when he coulda just grabbed the generic version. He knew all the upcoming games. He was multitasking but keeping my transaction moving forward. He helped a deaf lady who wanted a version of Madden football that had the Cowboys on the cover. He knew it was the Hall of Fame edition and what extras were bundled with it. I was very impressed. I will be shopping for more of my games there in the future.

They need to stop being stingy and give you more for your trades.. they give you 2 dollars for a used game that they are going to resale for 20 dollars. Thats not right!
