Worst grilled cheese Ive ever had. Bread was greasy, soggy and barely toasted. Way too much cheese-- yes that is a thing. I ordered soup and a sandwich in the restaurant but they hand it to you in a greasy paper bag. Ok i guess Ill eat in my car. Didnt get my drink, apparently you have to go to the coffee shop on the other side to get a glass of water. Tomato soup was ok.

Iowa City classic coffee shop. Excellent food, especially the large chop salads and of course great coffee. The baristas are typically quite good and deliver a consistently high quality coffee of your particular choice. Very nice atmosphere is conducive to small meetings as well as time with friends

Actually a little unimpressed and overcharged, staff didnt even call our name they just let our order sit there. For the price you can get bettter food elsewhere.

Love the salads here. Favorite is the classic ceaser. I get it medium chopped and it is perfect. The restaurant is always very clean and welcoming. I get in get my order and get out quickly. Definitely a favorite.

This one really hurts, because I used to really enjoy this place. It seems like over the past year or so the attention to detail has really slipped. The quality of the food has dropped and nothing feels fresh. I used to go in person, but I tried ordering online to support them during the pandemic and my order was not right (they sent a small bowl of soup when I ordered a quart so I had to make other plans for my family for dinner and paid $13 for a small bowl of soup) and the dinner rolls they sent with it felt several days old. I may try the Heirloom downtown, because I did enjoy it when it was running well, but for now, this is a stay away for me.

Used to be a really nice, reasonably priced salad soup and sandwich place. Now they upped the prices and their food isn’t even worth it anymore. Paid 13$ for this small salad, barely any toppings. The workers nowadays are in no rush to get your food quick at all.

Not the cleanest, but much better than most places like it. The food was great and the staff were friendly.

Absolutely horrible service. Employees clearly under trained and incapable of timeliness. Waited 55 min for 2 off the menu salads. Other customers were waiting even longer. Employees more focused on personal conversation rather than completing orders.

Salad is below average. The vegetables were not fresh and rather soggy. The lettuce tasted like it had been frozen and thawed out.

The customer service is awful and so are the wait times. Theres no reason someone can call and order on the phone,wait 20 minutes to go get it and then wait another 30 before your order is ready for just a soup and a sandwich. Half of the staff is rude and or has attitudes every time I go. I will not be coming back to this location. Not worth it in the least.

Salads are good, but it seems like they could streamline their system to reduce the wait times. The staff is often running in circles, trying to fill multiple roles at once.

Stopped here on our way through town and the food and employees were great! Definitely will come back if we are up here again.

They have one of the best salads in town. And the portion size is very generous.

Food was greate, service was a little slower than expected but the staff was accommodating and friendly.

SLOW INTERNET/Wifi (thus no 5 stars) Another location of Heirloom Salad Co as of 2016. Great food. Also not enough power plugs to sit and work for an hour.

Best place for a healthy meal in Iowa city...salads, soups, sandwiches...I love it!!!

Not one time have I went have they have gotten my order correct.

Rude staff, do not acknowledge you at all, seem to be bothered to be doing their job...going to be trying a different location as this is the second time I have had this experience.
