Helpful and friendly

The chick who normally works in the morning was still opening the store at ten minutes after 6. She ignored me standing out front in 30° weather without greeting me or even speaking to me, for that matter. After waiting outside for approximately 5 more minutes, I took a chance & reached for the door, which I was happy to discover was unlocked. The employee was standing behind the counter with a clipboard, writing something down. I poked my head in and said Are ya open now? She replied that yes and the sign had been turned on for a few minutes. So, I asked her what time they open and she told me that this store doesnt open until 6:15 a.m. She walked back inside and continued flipping on lights and performing the general opening duties When I inquired about what time the store actually opens, she said the store opens at 6:15 each morning. I pushed a bit further by telling her Id googled the store, to be sure it was already open when I went there, and how it said it was supposed to open at 6am on weekdays. She then tried telling me that I must have googled the wrong store because the 31st St. location doesnt even have a webpage. She said you must have googled the wrong store, like the Guyandotte location.Really? I proceeded to lay my phone on the counter and turned it to face her, sliding it in her direction. She still stuck to her story. So, either this location doesnt open until 6:15, or she was late opening and lied about the time it was supposed to open. If you guys are in search of a dependable, friendly employee who lives down the alley and will be punctual, let me know. You guys know who I am. That is a great shift, and Id be happy to work the shift. The right way, with a helpful attitude and a smile!Update : 4-22-20The workers do not make sure that customers are practicing safe social distancing during a full-blown pandemic. Nor do any employees feel the need to wear a mask or gloves... in fact, one employee told me that she isnt paranoid! 🤦Update:Tues. August 4th, 2020*Its 6:49a.m. and Im standing in front of a closed store. They were supposed to be open at 6am. There have been quite a few would-have-been customers that have come and gone someplace else, just in the 5 or so minutes Ive been out front waiting. And here comes a tractor trailer needing gas... Smdh. This place is seriously unbelievable!
