I ordered my new Stetson Hutchins hat from Pinto Ranch and it arrived today damaged and it wasnt from shipping because the box was in perfect condition. That means that the person who packaged it from Pinto Ranch at 1717 Post Oak Blvd in Houston Texas did not inspect it.I spent just over $100 on this hat. Much cheaper that my other Stetson but I really like this style.Anyway I called Pinto Ranch in Houston Texas and explained to the fella on the other line my situation and I would like the same undamaged replacement hat. As we were talking I explained that this is a big inconvenience due to the covid going on and dealing with USPS office me having to re ship it back and dealing with UPS office etc. The guy I was talking to gave a sarcastic laugh/ chuckle. I said do you think this is funny? That is very bad customer service and quite frankly rude. I could buy this hat at several other stores but I choose Pinto Ranch, big mistake on my part. What I wanted, was for him to send me a new same7 1/2 hat expedited shipping with a return label and I would then ship back the damaged hat in that box back to them. But he said they would have to inspect the hat first then make a decision!! What I wanted to say is hey a** hole you already got my $105 so how about a undamaged hat?But instead I said I will eat the $105 and donate the hat and write a review about my experience with Pinto Ranch. He said quote go ahead I hung up... Im very disappointed in that individual at Pinto Ranch and the loss of my $105 but more disappointed in not having that hat undamaged to wear...

We are on vacation from NY and wanted to get some authentic Texas apparel. Upon entering the store we were greeted by Kathy. Offered us beverages and allowed us to walk around unbothered. After a few mins she came over and it was uphill from there. Educated us on cowboy hats, boots. She was very helpful and patient with all of our questions. Very fun personality and genuine. I went in for an attachment to my leather gun holster and the leathersmith, Julio, listened to what I wanted. He was very nice and did not let me leave until I was satisfied with my holster. I love the work he did and it was fast. The price was also very reasonable. 👍

Great store for western wear. We went just to buy my youngest son a real cowboy hat. He loves this dress up one so we thought an authentic one would be great for him. Cant wait for him to get it.

Absolutely amazing, upscale western clothing store with the best of the best! From the moment you walk in the store, the knowledgeable staff helps assist you with your clothing or boot needs. They are helpful but not pushy. We love shopping here because of the convenience and the quality of product. Truly every time I wear my alligator boots, I get complemented. Additionally, we have bought sport coats,dress shirts, buckles and gorgeous luggage…this place has it all!!!!

It was a nice store. People were very friendly. If looking for quilty western wear, some household items, home decor, or even hand made saddles well worth the stop. They have a good selection of higher end boots.

I shop here as often as I can. Great selection of a variety of Western wear. I like spicy clothes and they always have the flare of clothes I like. A bit pricey sometimes but the quality is there.

I bought a pair of high quality boots at this store 2006. I was actually fine paying the premium for the JB Hill boots that the sales person insisted was the best fit. My thoughts were that if there was a problem, the store had been there awhile and they would make it right.They also told me that if there were any future repairs or resoling that they would facilitate the necessary repairs (which I did not expect, nor desire to be a free service.)Well, the boots did fit and wear well and lasted quite some time without need for repair. However, like any boot, they will need work done.I live out of town now and called for them to have the boots fixed. They got mailed with receipt to the store at which point they were mailed back with a note saying that they do not sell these boots anymore and cannot send them to the appropriate people even as a courtesy.So, do I think they sell good quality boots at Pinto Ranch? Mine were great-though they dont sell this brand any more. Do they stand behind their boots and their promises of care after you walk out the door? Not in my experience.

The hats, the boots and apparel are all nice, the customer service however is even better!

Great selection but if something is wrong with their products they are less than eager to correct the situation. If I spend over $1100 on boots and a matching belt for a Christmas gift and the boots are not properly cut so one does not even wearable I expect you to correct the situation and keep me updated. I should not be the one to have to call to get an update. And Dave, dont act like you have absolutely no idea what is going on as a store manager when you are the one that helped us with the return.

Visited this location in hopes of supporting a local business as I had just moved into the neighborhood. The employee in the boot department made a remark towards the customers in the store as if he was irritated by our presence (customers doing last minute shopping before closing). He exclaimed to “lock the doors and tell the other customers coming in that we’re closed” As a former business owner providing superior customer service, I found that to be rude and unnecessary. I can assure you that myself and my close circle of rodeo acquaintances will not be back to support you when you’re so eager to close your doors and be rid of your customers inappropriately.

Pinto Ranch has some very nice stuff (hard to find things, kind of like Berings hardware)) but is not a cheap place to go to. Just bought a real nice alligator belt ($325) there. That is about what I expected to pay for it, but I was hoping to find a nice belt buckle ($125 - $150 range) for it, There belt buckles are the real mccoys (something on the low side is $500 - $600 all the way up to $1000 or little more). If you are looking for these types of belt buckles, you may find them a little cheaper somewhere else.
