Its hard to find a good mechanic but Ive found a GREAT one with AAMCO. Ive been coming here for years with multiple family vehicles and they always  fix it right the first time. Shout out to Irene-she makes sure the repairs are timely which anyone with a busy schedule can appreciate! I needed transmission work ASAP and Brandon took care of me as if the car was his own. They’re honest professionals who take pride in their work.

I had a Jeep Wrangler transmission scheduled for repair in December 2019. They kept the Jeep for about ten days, charged me $3200 for the transmission work, and when I got the Jeep back… it actually drive worse.I called this shop repeatedly during 2020 to try and get them to service the warranty, but they were always too busy to do warranty work. (I would drive by the shop and see multiple empty bays.)Finally, I attempted to take the truck to another Aamco for service… and all of the sudden this shop here has time to look at my vehicle and honor the warranty they printed out and gave to me. Also, they will not let me see another shop until I give them at least one chance to fix the transmission again.They get the Jeep in the bay again. They keep the Jeep for another week. Threaten to void the warranty if I don’t replace the radiator, and do zero work on the transmission that has never functioned properly since they repaired it. I pay another $700, and I am now at a total of $4000 on this transmission… which still does not work properly.I am attempting to take it to another shop for repairs, but even though this shop promised me I could go anywhere I want after I gave them that second chance… They are still holding my warranty hostage, they will not let me take the Jeep to another shop, even though they have proven twice they are not capable of repairing a transmission.Save your money and do business with someone who is honest. I will never set foot in this shop again, and I will warn anyone who asks me that they are a dishonest business that does not honor their contracts.

I saw the ad in my AAA book and decided to schedule an appointment. I then stopped by and asked if I could bring my car in early, as it would be on a Friday and I didnt want it to be kept over the weekend if work was needed. I met Brandon and he said yes. After bringing my car in the next day, Brandon informed me that he would contact me as soon as they finished or found anything. Just as he promised, he sent me photos of what was going on and recommended the work that needed to be done. I really enjoyed the communication. He said they would get me done by the end of the day and they did. This was not an oil change by any means. I was glad to have the work completed in a timely fashion and the communication that Brandon provided me!

After the technicians diagnosis, I was told the catalytic converter was still under warranty and I could save much money if it needs to be replaced. I was referred to the dealer nearby and the front desk even talked to a technician there about my situation.Finally, I went out without paying a penny. This business is very honest to the customers and I definitely will go back again.

Both Brandon and Irene provided EXCELLENT customer service to an out of state driver. I am from Oregon. While driving my daughters car on 610 I ran over a truck tire in the roadway. Really appreciate the kind service from the folks at this Aamco! Driving home from a long weekend my car met a ripped up truck tire on 610 that damaged the front part of my underside carriage. S Loop Aamco was able to quickly patch it up, and they were so kind we asked them to do a regular oil change as well. A few days ago my car was held together with duct tape, today it’s back together and running better than it has in a month 😊

I had been looking for a permanent mechanic for 4 years, and then I found Aamco. My A/C decided it wanted to stop working, and with the Houston weather, it obviously needed to be fixed. I looked online and Aamco was highly rated, and they certainly deserve the high rating. I made an appointment online, and they rolled my car on time, and I decided to wait since they had a nice waiting area and very comfy chairs. Once there was a diagnosis Brandon and the mechanic took the time to explain what needed to be done, let me know time and cost, and we were good to go. I also got my oil changed while they had my vehicle. Overall I was very pleased with my experience, the service, the repairs and I now have a permeant mechanic. You will not regret taking your car to Aamco.

These gentlemen were so helpful! I had a strange leak and I was from out of town. I told them my whole situation, and asked them to check my transmission because I had a red liquid leak on my geo tracker. It ended up not being to major of an issue in that specific time, and made me feel comfortable to travel home before the major repair I need. This repair business is excellent. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and is motivated to give the best service. I had a difficult problem with my car stalling or throttle not working. Finally it would not start and I had to tow it to a shop. AAA recommended this place. I am about to sell the car and did not want to spend money chasing problems, I just want to get the car moving. they worked with me and fixed the car for under $200 where another company had estimated over $1000. You cannot go wrong bringing your car here. I will be bringing my other car here for routine maintenance as well as problems in the future.

Brandon helped me and although they could not work on my transmission (because its a hybrid). He helped me get to the bottom of what was going on, he wrote a list of what I should do next and was very thorough and professional. 11/10 would highly recommend.

AAMCO TRANSMISSON did an awesome job with our 2013 Nissan Sentra. From picking the car up from our home down to getting us back on the road promptly. They work fast but I am so disappointed with the service I received. The purpose of me taking my car to their shop was to get everything check. They told me I had an oil leak yet never told me exactly what was causing it. Then which I feel is the most basic thing every shop should check yet they did not do so and thats the fluids. When I got my car the coolant was low and the transmission was bone dry. So much so that it was whining. I told them multiple times to check the fluid and change the filter. I even notated that in my online appointment request. Take care of your customers because they are the reason you are in business.

Brandon helped me a lot, he seen that I had a bad transmission leak on my 98 bmw 318i, and He DIDNT hesitate to get me some more fluid and also offered if I got the parts he’ll fix it . It was a blessing because I knew my pockets were thin and he didnt budge. Aamco is my new spot .

My brother found this location on Google search. He called it and spoke with someone they told him it’s free to put the car on the machine and he would have to leave the car for A FEW HOURS. I took the car around 2something pm on a Monday we waited no call. My brother called around 5 something and they lied and said I didn’t take the car until 5 something (he knew it was a lie because he picked me up at 3 something). So then they said they would have it checked the following morning (okay whatever) so we left the car there overnight. My brother called the next morning close to noon and they still didn’t check the car. He called again around 4pm still not checked. This place is unprofessional and liars. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here ever. -5 star rating from me.

I went in for a quote I was told that all my fluids will be emptied and replaced overall I was happy with the work everything seemingly was okay a week later when car start driving funny I opened my hood to find out that none of my fluids were in my car they drained them and never refilled them so for that I give you guys a thumbs down

While I ultimately didnt get my transmission serviced because the cost was too expensive (because of the age/mileage of the car), Brian and Aaron were incredibly helpful, patient, and professional. Ive had some difficulty obtaining my title from out of state and arranging a donation pickup, but they have been helpful throughout the entire process and made it less stressful than it could have been. I was changing my oil regularly at this place until this guy didn’t tied the bolts of the filter cover. When I was driving my car the metal cover felt down and stuck with the ground and turned like a can!!! I towed the car by my own and the owner was so ugly and said” what can I do !!!!” With loud voice and no respect then he started to hammer the metal cover and he did the same mistake and didn’t tied one bolt and I have to go under the car for double check!! Then he took it back and fixed with this broken cover and said “ tell me what can I do!!!”Do not go to this place they are disrespectful. Do you know if I did not record everything this guy will be so rude and maybe he will kick me out of his workshop but I have dash camera and I took a photos of the incident once it happens.

Bryan and his team were very helpful and timely in assisting me with my oil change. The price was reasonable and I was easily able to get an appt. Bryan was pleasant to work with and professional. I like that the oil change comes with a multipoint inspection to make sure I know my car is running well. I will use them again the next time I need car services.

Had a complex brake issue that was hard to diagnose. Bryan kept at it until the problem was completely resolved. These guys are geniune and do good work.

Took my car here because alternator failed. The serpentine belt and tensioner also needed to be replaced. After discount, they wanted $1250 which seemed too high, so I shopped around. Found another mechanic to fix it, with same cost for parts and warranty, for ~$600 total. This AAMCO, although it has friendly staff and explained what needed to be done, significantly overcharged me. Because of this experience, I cant trust future work from them so will look elsewhere.

This is a bad place to take ur car! I had them do some engine work only to find out they took my new alternator of my car! & replaced it with a used alternator! 2 months later having my car out they shop! My alternator goes out! Any person that know about cars know a alternator last 5yrs or longer! I take my alternator off my 2008 DTS only to find out the alternator was made back in 2016! & wasnt a new alternator! So my lifetime warranty wasnt anymore good! So I had to buy another alternator for $235!
