I would honestly give it 4.5 stars! They are a very busy, busy, busy shop… but the customer service truly makes up for it. The manager is always available via email if there is a problem and they also got my recall fixed during one of my visits. I would strongly recommend them.They also will drop you off home if you don’t have a rental car… and drop your car off to you. That was a very nice addition.

This body shop has terrible service reps that will flat out lie to you about part shortages and backorders. They will steal the parts for your work order and use them on other vehicles. If they know that you are using an insurance claim to pay for the repair work, they will not prioritize your car, as they know they already have a check waiting for them. Sadly they do not match the high standard of Mazda and you are better off finding a trusted independently owned repair shop than to go to this place. The quality of their repair work is not worth the hassle of the terrible customer service youll have to put up with. Sheer laziness in their front of house staff will end up ruining the reputation of the guys in the back fixing the cars. Do not go here unless you want to play games with their staff.

My review of this company is mainly for the inconvenience that my advisor Alex left me in, as well for the front desk ladiesI brought in my truck to get a repair done to my front bumper and after picking my vehicle up from service and going through rainy weather, I noticed there was condensation on my foglight housing which confused me because these were brand new foglights I just purchased recently, I called Alex to explain the situation and he understood, told me was going to order them and would have their technician install the new housings which I was like cool, no problem man!I waited for over a month and I did call frequently to see if any updates,but was just given a run around by Alex to be honest, come to find out by the service manager Edward there that he never placed an order in which frustrated me angrily because I now have a fogged up lenses which looks horrifying.Edward did get in touch back with me and resolved this issue in under two weeks in which I highly thank him for it, was very professional about it.The other issue I found here was getting in touch with Edward or Alex at the time when the front desk ladies that answer the phone and told me who he isnt here that he left for the day or whatever generic response they give to people calling even though that person is there working.Overall my experience here was disappointing compared to the first time I came here for a repair back then.

John Tran is the body technician who worked on my vehicle. He is well certified on collision repairs with many years of experience in this field. My favourite body shop to take my Honda to. I’ve been here twice, and each time i’ve had no problems with my vehicle getting taken care of and fixed properly. My guy Ryan was great, he answered all of my questions, provided me with the information I needed to know about my vehicle, and even gave updates about the status of my car. They honestly back up their work and fix any issues related to the repair(s), so you can be ensured that if anything happens, they will take care of you and your vehicle.

Although the dealer has Honda, Ford, and Mazda franchises they had no problem repairing my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. The staff was amazing. Great customer service!! My car needed some body repair work from a accident it sustained. I was apprehensive in the beginning due to many price gouging body and collision repair shops in Houston. However, the advisor Eric Ferrufino made the process stress free he kept me informed and updated throughout the repair process with estimates. They did good body work but apparently sand blasted with the door open. Now its same all over the inside of my van. Jeff says hell take care of it but Im wondering why its want cleaned before they said it was ready. I guess they dont do QA here. Van probably gonna require interior detailing to get rid of all the sand.Definitely check your vehicle thoroughly inside and out before you leave here because they wont.

Very satisfied with their work. Was promised the work to be done by December 23rd and it was completed on December 16th, so they get credit for being super on time. My service contact was RTAN MANOJ and he provided me excellent service that was above and beyond. RYAN kept me informed - called and sent me e-mails on updates on the repair. The front desk was also very professional and efficient in processing the pick up. I have been at R S Body Shop in the past and they always do quality work in a professional manner. Dropped off my vehicle here because it was the closed shop. Bumper and tire needed replacement after two weeks service supposedly was complete. Received a call that it was almost ready β€œjust needed a wash and would be ready in 15 minutes or so” so I headed over. On my way over callee me back to inform me that the tire wasn’t even installed yet, and still awaiting on order. Same thing happened a second day in a row. Not sure where the miscommunication between the mechanics and shop handling but I still do not have my car after two days in a row of it β€œbeing 15 minutes away from being ready”.

I have a 2017 Honda Accord and I had roof damage and my roof needed to be replaced. To replace the roof and install the new roof the seat belts had to be disconnected to install a new head liner inside the car. My front seat passenger side seat belt did not work, you could pull it out but it would not retract back into position. I took it back to Russell & Smith Body shop and I was initially told it looked like it wasnt install properly but the technician needed to inspect it. After the technician inspected I was told that a part needed to be replace and it should be covered under Honda safety warranty and I needed to go to the dealership. I immediately went to the Russell & Smith Honda dealership and after a 2 hour wait I was told nothing needed replacing, it was not installed correctly. My time was wasted and it makes me question the quality of their work. See photo

The attention is good, every body is nice; but the work, sucks. If the insurance is going to pay, they don’t fulfill what they promise in their estimate. They put you used parts. To me, first they say it would be a great job that will take just few days, and than after 11 days it was not finis. I had to rake the car several times back to finish. At the end it was poorly done, the part doesn’t work great. They told me that I shouldn’t expect it to be as new. And they left loose parts and glue in different parts of the car that were never removed.BE CAREFUL WITH THEM.

My experience with this place was good. The lady at the front desk closest to the printer came off as rude and didnt want to be there but as far as my adjuster and the work done to my car they get 5+ stars if I could. My car was wrecked a few weeks back and was brought to this place for repairs requested by me since my car was being leased from their Honda dealership on the other side of the freeway. 3 days or less after it was towed there my adjuster called me and gave me all the info regarding my car. The current damages found and a estimate on time for it to be all completed. A week or two goes by and I get another call from the same adjuster Mr. Jeff explaining to me that more damages were found once my car was opened upHey get everything fixed so I dont have to worry about problems later right? He broke it all down to me parts wise and the additional time needed. The deadline grew close and my car was almost done. Not the new deadline the original one. Now with thanksgiving came and gone being closed. Having to wait for additional money and parts. I was expecting for it to me another week or two extra. Nope 3 days later after it was originally due to be done the team and Mr Jeff got my car fished, washed and back in my hands happily going home. Appreciate it guys and thanks again!

I must have high expectations for customer service, but I had a horrible experience, and I chose not to do business with this business. My insurance recommended this business due to its high satisfaction and proximity to my home, which is still 9 miles in Houston traffic. I received a call from them within 3 hours of filing the claim and choosing this place. I scheduled my time to have the inspection and estimate. Then called to reschedule, and was informed I didnt need an appointment, I just needed to come in normal business hours. We open at 7:30 and close at 6:00 PM.Imagine my dismay when I arrive at 5:30 PM to learn they stop estimating at, you guessed it, 5:30. When I asked why I wasnt informed of this fact when I repeatedly called, tried to schedule, I was met with a repeat of the line as if I was incapable of menial comprehension.Then the estimator walks by me to another part of the building. The attendant informs me, Hes leaving now, see? I ask Could you not have stopped and just asked? When there was no response, I realized I am no longer dealing with intelligent life capable of a critical thought. I also realized there is no need in spending my insurances and my money at a place with such blatant disregard to the customers schedule even with consistent attempts to understand hours, schedule, and estimating policy on the part of the customer.What a joke of a business.

I just picked up my car from Russell and Smith. They did a great job on the exterior repairs, the front desk had great customer service. However, after inspecting my car before I paid them over $7K, I saw that my interior was left filthy and it appeared that something had been spilled in my seats. My car was brand new before an accident. I had only been driving it for 1 month.When I brought it to their attention a guy named William Vargas came out to see what I was talking about. (1) He came out with a dirty napkin in his hand (2) He spent time looking all around the car (time that could have been spent simply wiping the dirt off of the interior like i was asking) (3) He told me that it would take 30 minutes to get someone to come out and simply wipe off the dust that their techs left behind.I had looked at video reviews online about their work and service and many customers mentioned that they detailed the vehicle. Naturally I would expect to receive my car clean after they have had it for almost a month.What made me the most upset was how dismissive William Vargas was. He had absolutely no professional way of handling my complaint which was so minor.I will NEVER choose Russell & Smith Collision again for any repairs based on the general attitude this man had towards me as a customer and my small request that should have been done anyway considering it is procedure. Hell, even when you go to Jiffy Lube or Walmart for an oil change they vacuum your car.

All I can say is you will highly regret taking your vehicle into this collision shop if RYAN MANOJ gets assigned to it! He will not contact you with any information and every time you call to get an update he seems as if you are annoying him. He told me my car was ready and not even 30 mins went by and all the lights on the dashboard came on. I had to retake it just for him to tell me the ABS was messed up. It has been almost two weeks since he was supposed to send a diagnostic report to the insurance and he still has not done so. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! DO NOT COME HERE!

This is a review for the collision repair service done to my Honda Accord. I give zero star for this place due to its bad service. The rear bumper of my Honda Accord, which was purchased from Russell and Smith Honda, was severely damaged due to a traffic accident. Rain leaked into the rear trunk after the collision service was done. I was puzzled and disgusted by this problem for a long time before I finally figured out the reason. The collision center took another month to fix this problem. Today the horizon bar above the rear camera dropped out. I suggest that you do NOT go to this place for any collision related service from my experience.

I don’t usually write reviews but for the sake of the people out there who is considering this place, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT go there!First, their front desk receptionists were rude and unfriendly. I did not feel welcomed the second I walked through the door. Instead of a proper greeting, she just goes β€œyes?” I was shocked from her attitude and when she asked who I need to see, she was so impatient I almost lost it and wanted to speak to the manager.Second, for a repair place, you would think they have all the tools and equipments. But I had to drive there to give them my wheel locks because they don’t have anything to open it with....Third, when my car was finally done (way exceeded the estimated time), I found my car a total mess. When I open the door, the inside was wiped down but the trail of white specks was all over the interior! Couldn’t they have done a better job of wiping!? They also left the old airbag pieces inside the car! Shouldn’t they take out all the trash?! There were also scratches on the inside and outside of the car! Keep in mind this is a brand new car!Fourth, I use a dashcam in my car. When I got my car back, the dashcam cable holders at the top of the windows were halfway covered up!! I can’t put my cables on there anymore because half of it is covered!!! How can someone be so ignorant to cover that up!?Lastly, the wheel locks I gave them, they didn’t even give me all the pieces back! They said the technician never seen it but I called them out on it because how can you never seen it when you have to use it to unlock my wheels! They then tried to call someone who was in charge of my car but they couldn’t locate that guy at the moment so they said they will call back. I have yet to hear back.I cannot emphasize enough, please do not take your car here!!!!!

My car was kept by Russell & Smith Collision Center for 2 weeks for bodywork that an employee said would take a few days. When I did go to receive my vehicle, I found a huge windshield crack. Steve Bonds, an estimator for the business, denied any fault and then physically attempted to stop me from taking his picture as proof of who I spoke with! I wish I had faith that on site management would reasonably handle such situations. However, from what I have seen, this group cannot be trusted to behave professionally or ethically in my opinion. DO NOT take your car to this place.They shoukd not be in business and Farmers should try and get their money back from them. They charged Farmers an arm and a leg for painting a broken mirror, did not fix all that was wrong with the car and took a long time to fix it. We took it back for the mirror to be replaced and a few small dents removed. Almost 3k billed to Farmers and the new mirror came with a scrape 2 -3 weeks later. The car had dust and bird poop on it, nothing had been cleaned on or in the car. And when I got in the car, which supposedly was ready to be picked up a day before, the car would not start. They jumped it and I was glad to have left the place. If they do not fix something...it is your fault. Save yourself a month of going back and forth and frustration. Do not use this place. Wow how can Russell & Smith Collision get away with this poor workmanship and service baffles me!

My insurance listed this as one of several places they work with to get repair to my truck.At first I dealt with a man named Daniel, impressionable, he made me feel comfortable with their ability to take care of my truck I (which had less than 13,000 miles on it).I picked it up a couple days later than estimated at closing time. No biggie about the couple days.Upon driving home I noticed play in the steering wheel, which wasnt there before.I called the next morning and told Daniel of the issue. His first response, was it was a pre existing condition. Remember, less than 13,000 miles 2500 High Country Silverado Diesel. The only work I had done to its was front and rear steel bumpers and oil changes.There was no, hey let me check with the mechanic that worked on it and ill get back to you. It was just the immediate response over the phone of, pre existing conditionsFrom then, I asked to speak with the manager Kevin.I then dealt with the Manager Kevin, was more helpful but still was disappointed with the service.Mainly because he calls me on a Friday and says my vehicle was ready for pickup. We had the hurricane Harvey about to hit and I was unable to pick up the vehicle because of Hurricane preparations.I show up the following Wednesday and Im informed my vehicle was not ready. I ask for Kevin, he is at lunch, I ask to reach him on his cell and was denied. More time and resources spent on this situation. They did give me a ride home from the facility. But still half a day wasted.I get the call the following day that my truck was finished. Apparently, my vehicle was next in line for an alignment and was not yet ready as I was informed. So, Kevin explained to me that they took my truck off to put another car on and that the storm apparently damaged the alignment machine and basically instantiated it was my fault for not picking up the truck Friday because he wouldve left it on the rack and got it finished. My argument, you said it was ready and it was not ready. Im there practically a week later and my truck still is not ready.We disagreed about this for a few minutes and I left, no compensation, not even a few free truck washes.I hope there are better collision repair services out there because they just made me feel they wanted the insurance check with no concern to me the client.

After my accident on the fifth of October, I took my car to R&S the next day (October 6th). The original estimate was to have my car ready by the end of the month at the very latest. Needless to say, I was very surprised and frustrated that I could not pick up my vehicle until the day before Thanksgiving (November 26th). Between incompetence with requisitions and ordering and the most severe case of indifference Ive ever seen in any dealership and automotive group, it was a few days short of two months before I had my vehicle back for the first time.Of course, my nightmare does not end thereβ€”it just began. The day after Thanksgiving, when I had to defrost my front window, I was showered in glass shards that had not been cleaned out of the vent. Two months after that stinging shower, I was still picking glass shards out of my finger when I dropped something below my seat. Of course, after they shoddily cleaned out the glass and returned my car (and I had to run the vents with safety goggles on and then vacuum out the glass that was still everywhere), I expected the saga to finally end.Unfortunately, the first time I got up to speed on the freeway, I was disappointed by another instance of lazy, indifferent and shoddy workmanship. I was surprised by a loud flapping noise on the outside of my car and the sudden rush of wind noise that overwhelmed my radio. On the drive back to the collision center, the thumping appeared on the other side of the windscreen. It turned out that Russell and Smith had replaced my windshield and then simply pushed the old window moldings into slots. These are not meant to be removed and replaced, so of course they immediately flew off as soon as they encountered substantial wind.Thankfully, all hands were on deck as I did not yet need to get into the fourth rental car, and the seals were allegedly replaced right away after I took my car in. Imagine my exasperation though, as now, halfway through December, the window moldings popped off as I merged onto the freeway and again my ears were filled with the rushing wind-noise! Unfortunately, I had to travel for the winter holidays so it was not until the first week of January that I hopped in their fourth rental vehicle and returned the next day for my vehicle.Throughout this whole process, I had been driving myself to the collision center, traveling along the freeway during rush-hour traffic, fighting to make it before the ridiculously early closing time of 6:00 p.m. What irked me most about that timeline, beyond its general inconvenience, is that while I was in the fourth rental, Jeff, the estimator handling this entire process, rudely insisted that I fill up the rental with as much gas as it started with. Understandable if this were my first rental, but demanding that I leave my office early just to put a dollars worth of gas into a vehicle at the height of rush hour while I had wasted countless gallons of my own gasoline driving to and from the body-shop without any consideration on their part just reflected the holistic experience of dealing with Russell and Smith.When attempting to work with Kevin, the shop manager, to address how my nightmarish, four-month ordeal could be addressed by the company, he initially seemed cooperative. However, when I reminded him of all the particular points that had been delayed, dismissed and mishandled by him and his team, he quickly became defensive and resorted to blaming me, saying that I had chosen to get into an accident.Getting hit by a drunk motorcyclist who went through my windshield is something I never would have chosen to do, and never would have wished on anyone, even on people as indifferent, sluggish and abrasive as the staff and management at Russell and Smith.If you have any degree of choice for where you take your car for service and repair, I implore you to consider any other option, no matter how much farther it may be. Youll be glad to save yourself from a lengthy and trying ordeal.

Unprofessional, incompetent, and immoral! Russell & Smiths Ford affiliation should be revoked! They have no idea how to repair a vehicle and I didnt feel as though they cared about my vehicle, my opinion or the fact that they hadnt fixed the vehicle correctly. In addition, they held my vehicle for 2.5 weeks for a supposed repair that should have taken 1 week. Why it took so long, Ill never understand because they didnt even use the replacement parts provided with the repair kit. For instance, they used an epoxy to seal my rear view mirror when they should have used the insulation provided by Ford. I went back to the shop 2 or 3 times for the same issue trying to explain that I still had a problem but they didnt want to hear about it. I finally took my vehicle to another dealership to get repaired and the other Ford dealer who not only confirmed my issue but was appalled by their workmanship. Im working with Farmers Insurance to try to have them removed from the approved repair list.
