People are friendly, but shelves arent consistently stocked, seen empty boxes on shelves, missing a few normal products. Urinal doesnt flush properly, sink is dirty, spray paint writing on ceiling, rusty divider and ceiling vent. Ice drink machine has a clumpy looking tan/brown in it (Maybe thats how its supposed to look? I sure wouldnt drink it...) I understand Hurricane Ida went through 2 months ago, and cleanup is still underway (I happen to be in the area assisting with splicing) However. a larger chain of this sort you would think they have a reputation to uphold. Maybe this is just temporary, you decide. However I will add, out of the few gas stations in the area, outside and cosmetically, it is one of the better looking at the moment.

I stop here very infrequently, maybe 3 or 4 times a year. Last time I stopped was several months ago and I purchased a 79 cent frozen drink. Yesterday, June 7, 2019 about 5:15 pm, I stopped again to make the same purchase. I used the same cup and lid as previously. I asked the young female African American clerk what flavor the green frozen drink was and heard the second older woman clerk say that it was melon-flavored. I got my drink and went to the counter to make my purchase where the young clerk told me that I had used the wrong cup and that she would have to charge me double. I explained that I used the same cup as previously and she replied that she had told me when I asked about the drink flavor she told me I had the wrong cup. Well, my hearing is bad and I didnt hear her. Instead of politely informing me to use the correct cup next time and complete my purchase, she told me that on my previous visit they were out of the correct cup so that was why using it then was acceptable then but not now. (How was I to know?) She scolded me for using the wrong cup. This employee has poor customer skills and should be fired. I dont need her lip and sass. I will take my business across the street henceforth.

A great travel stop for me

The Subway is a mixed bag, sometimes its good and other times they dont know how to make a Wrap. And get rude if you try to correct them.
