You have to be very specific about what you want, which is very difficult for a first timer. If youre dont verify exactly how you want things youll likely feel like something essential is missing.Example: I once asked for a ice coffee and was served one without sugar. No sugar on the side either.But when ordering from the menu the service is perfect.

Houma could really use a much nicer Starbucks and location. Dont really care to go sit inside and the Drive -Thru is always an eyesore. Just trashy and nasty compared to the ones out of town. Never had a problem with my orders though.

Whether I go inside to order a cup of Starbucks coffee or use drive thru, I seem to always get the best service and the best coffee. The baristas are super friendly and quick with my order. Its a joy for me.

Ordered a couple of refreshers, lemon cake and a cake pop. The drive thru service was excellent.

Only go for a treat. Caramel Crunch Frappecinno is my cheat. Ordered online, picked up inside. Took just a matter of minutes.

Location isn’t the best because of its location next to Chic-Fil-A. And no matter the time the wait time or ordering via mobile the time is always more than it should be. I’m still waiting several minutes for an order placed by mobile. App isn’t updated with items as it should be for the store. They just lack the speed and service.

Worst Starbucks. Every visit is a mystery as to what type of Frapp you’re going to get. Either little or no coffee flavor, nothing but syrup flavor. Thibodeaux is much much better.

This Starbucks is going significantly downhill. In the past week I’ve had a barista rudely laugh at my order, and I’ve had them give me a hot drink instead of a cold one. Never going back. Looks like it’s PJ’s for me.

Ordered a grande, they gave me a tall. Shorted me 4-5 oz of milk and tried to cover it with whipped cream..which, once melted, obviously I could see.However - did reach out to Starbucks corporate and they apologized + refunded me. I think it was just the Barista hurrying.

I had a really good cup of pikes place this morning! I wanted to order the new bacon sandwich, and when I said I wanted to order the new bacon sandwich, she said the double bacon something something and Im like yeah! But it was the wrong one, still delicious! My fault. The area to prepare coffee was a bit messy, but it was fully stocked. the music was playing and everyone was very friendly!

Out of 3 Frappuccino 1 wasnt good.

Im starting to really dislike this location. Every time I order from here they forget something. The last few times I ordered, I paid for extra toppings and didnt receive ANY topping. My husband finally asked them whats going on and apparently they ran out of the topping. Why wouldnt they just inform me of that and refund me instead of charging me for it and acting like that doesnt matter. This morning they of course forgot something and my husband went back to pick up the forgotten items and they blamed him and said he forgot. This is a VERY poor way to run a business!!

Fast and friendly service

Great place. Nice atmosphere. The coffee is delicious. My only complaint is that often the line is backed up, and it takes a while to get your coffee. Other than this, I love it.

Very nice store.Customer service on point. We had and event going on over the weekend and we call a day before to order a traveling pack. It serves about 12 cups and they set you up with creamer, sugars, cups and stirers. When we when to pick it up the day of, they had it ready.Thank you again.

This is the slowest Starbucks I have ever been to. My drinks are also never the same. One drink always taste different.

UPDATE: raised to 4 stars. The issue talked about below rarely happens anymore.I LOVE Starbucks! However, I get the same drink each time I go, and it taste different every time. I always ask for classic syrup and half the time it has ZERO sweetener in it. I spend a lot of money here and I really wish my drink would be right every time. Its just an iced coffee with soy and classic ...nothing crazy.

What were you expecting? Well, the company that made it fashionable to buy a five dollar two $400 cup of coffee while someone makes obnoxious sounds at you and everybody tries to act like they are something special. They still cook a mean cup of water. Lucky for me I sell the worlds greatest coffee. They do have some nice overpriced snacks. And there is Wi-Fi and seating accommodations. I noticed this one has changed its seating alignment to a better accommodation and arrangement. It does appear thats selling some nice-looking dishes and a few thermoses is not quite as important as seating the customer now. So that is an improvement. Another thing to note about this one is that it has outside accommodations, and fairly sizable ones at that. Aaron served us and helped make the period more agreeable.

I really enjoy going to this Starbucks because the staff is always nice. My order is always right and there is inside and outside seating that is always clean. There is free wifi. It has an overall pleasant atmosphere.

It is Saturday March 7th 2020 at 5:36pm and I have been waiting 20 min so far. A young lady just got under and said Ive been waiting an hour! An hour for a cold coffee! Haha, terrible.Oh and I just heard the lady making the drinks say we are not sorry for the wait, 😡

I’ve been in probably 100+ Starbucks in the last 20 years in many states. This one is slower than most other Starbucks(nearby Thibodaux is better/faster and also slow) which all seem to be disorganized and slow. I find the fastest Starbucks are inside Barnes and Nobles(way better desserts here) and Target. Parking lot is like a maze like most Starbucks. Over the years the coffee seems to be less in quality despite rising prices. This was the first Starbucks that I tried and long ago they served everything in ceramic and brought it to your table. They had better desserts like the chantico which I guess was discontinued long ago. I thought it was great back then, I can go better places for the same or less that roast coffee on site while I watch. Now it’s more focused on giving large paper cups of mediocre coffee to big(venti) people in big SUV through the drive-in window. If you go inside you will see an assortment of hipsters with their backpacks and laptops and most look too old to be in school. Always hard to find a place to sit. The hipster tend to move the tables into a big pile. Garbage can outside was overflowing with trash 5/4/2019.

They have best tasting off the menu coffee drinks,,, on the other hand they have the highest prices,, but if you want great taste you will pay for it

Skipped my order. SB better get it together. Wont pay for overpriced poor product long. Luckily SB sells legal stimulants. Competition would be welcome.

Fast Service Very Pleasant Staff

I visit this location about 5 times a week. The coffee is the best, store is always clean, and most important, the servers are always super- friendly. A few of them even greet me by name. Danielle always serves with a smile!

Never patronize a un-American business

Generally pretty fast though there always seems to be a slight line in the drive through. The muffin and sandwiches Ive had here tested relatively fresh as well which is a plus. Nothing amazing about location though, just good staff and regular Starbucks.

Service is always excellent. However, I spent time in Europe and their coffees are not authentic. They are simply marketing tools.

I know people love this place, but I feel like they are a cash-cow with abysmal products. Id rather not pay for their over-priced beverages and treats. There are plenty of coffee and tea cafes that have much better quality of food and drinks, and they wont overcharge you for it.

I love my starbucks iced coffee. Its the highlight starter of my day. However!.. the houma location is never consistent with their drinks. Even when you ask for extra shots of espresso.. I dont always get the extra even after paying for it. My drink comes out watery a lot of times, either its not enough espresso or too much ice, too much milk, never the same.. Ive resorted to going to the thibodaux location, farther drive and completely out of my way. But totally worth it for a good coffee!

Great staff better coffee

As I stepped into this establishment, it was apparent that this was a place like no other. No where in these United States, much less the world, could you find a place like this. Coffee. So much coffee, delivered how I like it by a smiling face near cherubic. Pity about the speed, though, for I missed my bus.

The drinks are fine here the store was a little dirty and there was lots of little fruit flies in the food case with exposed food will definitely never order food here. Just left there and its obvious the flies live in there, they didnt appear this mor kng

The staff is very friendly and they always make sure your food or drink is exactly how you want it! They pay attention because If you go enough (like me) theyll start to remember youre name lol.

This store has a posted open time of 5:30 am. I placed an order on the online app after this time and showed up to pick up my drink and found a locked door. When someone came to the door the employee told be to come back in a half hour because they weren’t ready yet. I told them I would be leaving for work and couldn’t do that I’d like a refund. She then stated that she wouldn’t give me my money back until I came back later in the day. That wasn’t a possibility for me as I was leaving town for work.I’ve never had this issue at any other location, it’s just Houma. I’ll never return to this store in the future when I’m in town for work, they don’t deserve my business.

The Starbucks in Houma is very friendly, and shows a lot of the small-town hospitality that still thrives under the growth the city is experiencing. Can be loud at times, so if you are looking for a quiet place to study I would go during the days and avoid major food times like dinner and lunch.Employees do turnover about every 2 years, but Starbucks has a good system to select people with the same character traits to give that signature Starbucks experience. Been around since 2004, one of the only standout coffee shops in the area. Local hangout for young people on Saturday and Friday nights.

The place looks nice, feels nice, employees are respectful, its a very nice place in general. the coffee is perfect and starbucks will always be my favorite coffee place.

Worst Starbucks I have ever been to. And I have been to a lot. Worked at 2 so i know how employees are suppose to act and how drinks are suppose to be made. This place is horrible but it is the only one in town. Never know if Ill get the right drink or not. Mostly not.

THIS IS THE SLOWEST STARBUCKS YOU CAN EVER GO TOOOOOOOOO !!! Every time I go i have to wait 10-20 mins in the drive thru . That’s my only complaint here they need more people on their shifts there is no reason why everytime I go no matter what time I have to wait 10-20 mins for my drink.

The people in the drive thru are always friendly and knowledgeable of the menu items. Our wait is usually 5-10 mins, but its worth it.
