Every trip to home depot is a pleasure for me because I always find what I need every employee is helpful and knowledgeable about where the products are and willing to help find items for me even when theyre not in area theyre working at a the time. So its a 5 star for me

They allow you place an order online, then they text you that it is cancelled, and when I try to call them to ask why, they dont answer the phone. Poor customer service, especially right after a hurricane. Im placing my order at Tractor Supply. They answer their phone, they do curbside pickup, so forget Home Depot.

Usually I dont have a problem with Home Depot but after my last experience with them I am extremely unhappy!!!! I went to buy a refrigerator and had to order it. They told me it was going to be delivered to my home on a certain date and they didnt. I called them to find out around what time I can expect them since I had to take off of work and had things to do just to find out that apparently the order did not go through so they had to reorder it. This time they made sure the order went through, I dont understand why they couldnt do that the first time. Now I have a day lost of work because of them and I had to go through 4 to 5 people before someone helped me. The person that helped me wasnt exactly friendly either. I will never order or buy appliances from them again. They will be lucky if they even get my business again. Now I have to miss another day of work and hopefully it gets delivered this time. I will need more appliances and other things due to remodeling my house but it will not be from Home Depot

Had a return and then some shopping. Only one place to do returns, which is normal. The line was long, but again normal until I discovered that everyone in line was purchasing stuff, not returning!! I was told that some of them were also paying bills?? There were several employees at customer service desk and only one customer there. There were several registers open. I said something and was told oh well. I left and bought what I needed at Lowes. I tried calling to talk to a manager 2 separate times and waited over 10 minutes both times and was never connected to one. Im a PRO customer and a GC and spend tens of thousands of dollars a year on building supplies. Ive been back to Lowes several times since and only once to HD because Lowes was missing an item. Theyre across the street from each other so ok by me to spend my money elsewhere!

They could use more associates but what they do have perform in a very helpful respectful way

Holy Christ, Im not sure if everyone was new, but theres loads of people kinda just wandering around.The online order pickup was atrocious. Didnt even have what I ordered in spite of taking my money. Had to go pick the items they did have myself.

I believe if Home Depot would carry more smart home and automation items they could gather more new customers that usually dont shop at home depot. Food for thought.

Ordered a generator from HD on Sept 10. Their ad said delivered by September 12. I was so excited because my sister was without power due to Hurricane Ida. AFTER I paid fir the product I got a notification that it would not be delivered until the 13th, then the 14th, then the 15th. I followed the tracking and then received a notice that the product had been shipped to the sender. No reason. Called HD and was told they were going to refund my money. Wouldn’t tell me why it was sent back and they really didn’t care. All this time my sister (who I bought the generator for) was sitting, eating peanut butter sandwiches because everything in her refrigerator was ruined. They offered to order me another model which they said they had plenty of in stock. They then and gave me another date. This time the tracker only worked for two days and six days later the date was revised again. My sister’s power finally came back on last night. She was three weeks without power and the generator STILL has NOT arrived. My advice to you is don’t believe Home Depot’s ads and be warned that they don’t follow through on the delivery of their product.

I ordered my washer and dryer from the Houma, Louisiana location in May 2021. The appliances were delivered on July 15th. Everything was fine until today. While vacuuming between the washer and dryer I noticed what looked like lint but when it didnt come up I touched it and felt a slice in my flooring. Upon further investigation we found it lead to a HUGE rip in our flooring under the washer. The delivery guys ripped my flooring down to the wood and didnt bother to say a word. Its disgusting to say the least. I will be lucky if anything is done about this situation as a few weeks have passed since delivery. If you get anything delivered or installed make sure you check every square inch where they install because they may just hide their mess up under the appliances.

Very Disappointed my Buddy and I both purchased grill there. His and mine where both totally damaged from Hurricane IDA.They Replaced his with out even a part of the grill. I had my damaged grill and was turned down for a replacement.

I’ll start this off by saying, I’m a frequent customer of this Home Depot. Here on a daily basis. This place has had a problem for a long time with having enough personnel in the lumber/building material department. I spend on average a little over 6 figures a year here. It’s a shame that we are in the middle of rebuilding after a hurricane and they have 1 Forklift running the entire building material/lumber department. It takes a hour and a half minimum to get loaded. It is now 8:30 A.M. I have been here since 7:00 and purchased 2 pallets of fence pickets and 30 2x4’s and they sill are not loaded. It’s not due to customer volume either, as I was the second customer in line. Keep note, they have 4 trucks waiting to be loaded, and 3 18-Wheelers waiting to be unloaded. ONE forklift trying to do it all. This is unbelievable. You would think it would have been figured out by now after all the complaints by the contractors. Last 3 trips to pick up material consist of two 3 hour waits, and a 2 hour wait. Get it together HD.

Very organized. One of Jesus brothers was with me. He is a carpenter, as well, and he knew he could find the right tool for the job. He is very hard working and has 5 children, a mother in law, his dad, and this month me..I am unworthy of him but he knows Home Depot has excellant people there to assist him when in need.

This is the closest Home Depot to me and competes with a closer Lowes for my business. I like to go to Home Depot for the quality materials and have never had any problems with staff at either establishment. I spent about $2000 on fence materials and of my 35 posts, one ended up warping (all are treated pine).

Always loved Home Depot. Great pricing and selection and employees have always been willing to assist. Wish we had one in our own town so didnt have to travel to another city but its always worth the extra drive time.

This store is the worst I ordered a counter top for my kitchen I went to Lowes first but their counter person wasnt in so I went to Home Depo they were happy to help but they told me my counter top would take 2 weeks to come in so I called today to see what time it would be delivered no one could tell me they said they called the installer and no one got back to them so I call about 3 hours later still no call back finally the lady called me and said my counter wasnt ready and it wont be ready until the 13 and shipped on the 14th I told them to cancel my order she said she would have to call the supplier Monday to see if I can cancel it I will be in the store Monday to speak to a manager cause that was mine 1000 dollars and i will take my business elsewhere

I like home depot. They give Lowes a run for their money. Ive found that theyre slightly cheaper than lowes, they offer a bit more and the staff are slightly more helpful/ knowledgeable than Lowes. 3 stars only though because only the best service can be found at the mom and pop hardware stores. After all its still a massive warehouse that takes forever to get in and out of and you may find yourself walking from one ed to the other for just 3 small items.

I will never purchase an appliance from Home Depot again. I purchased an electric range the week before Thanksgiving 2020 and was first given a delivery date within a few days. Delivery was pushed back several times until finally it was delivered 2 months after purchase. Unfortunately, this process is still not over. Same day as delivery, the face of the oven fell off. They sent someone to fix it but was advised to get a replacement. A week later, the replacement arrived only to be damaged as well.This whole process has been incredibly inconvenient and painful. The only thing they want to give me is $25 off after all of the inconveniences. This is unacceptable!!!!

Almost always can find things here vs Lowes. That said couldnt find a good mister hose system here today. Folks at the registers are always helpful as are the floor helpers. Self checkout is way quicker than waiting for a line at the cashier lanes

Crowded, messy, no help in sight

Ive been to many Home Depots and this one is smaller and less organized than others Ive seen. Come closing time, they begin announcing the fact several times well before the actual closing time, done in almost a threatening manner. Not so at Lowes across the street, where one can shop till closing time without feeling like youre a burden to the staff.

I purchased a Rheem water heater from Home Depot 4 years ago still under factory warranty and it went out . I ordered a stand up freezer and with in a month it stopped working. Called Home Depot to see about replacing or for them to fix it, they said to bad so sad it’s been more then 2 days call the manufacturer. My suggestion to everyone in the world if you are looking for anything related to what is at Home Depot go to Lowe’s they are so so so so so much better and they stand behind their product.

We found most of what we were looking for. Lats husband was looking for were out. But able to get the counterop ice maker we were looking for.

The Houma Home Depot is completely pitiful. They never have things in stock. Also, be sure youre getting a new product. I almost purchased an expensive saw that was obviously already used and stuck back in the box.

Store not enforcing face mask while in store . People walking around in front of a store workers and not being told anything. Even saw an employee without a mask on it was just dangling off one of his ears. This kind of behavior we will never stop the spread of this virus. A cough can push droplets of a respiratory virus as far as 19 feet away, and a sneeze can push droplets up to 26 feet away, depending on the room’s humidity, temperature and air flow.

Bought a a brand new freezer may 1st. HD delivered on the 12th had in 3 weeks the freezer is already broken. Paid almost $900 for a fridiare freezer and HD wont do anything about it . I knew I should have waited for Lowes to get some in. My suggestion is if your looking for a appliances go to Lowes, they at least back up there products

They do you have a lot to choose from. I was there looking for plants today and found some beautiful plants for a really good price. However I was looking for an aloe vera plant and they usually have them all year round and today they didnt have any at all. So that was a little disappointing because I really wanted to get that but I will just go to a different store to get it so no big deal. Overall I do like shopping at the Home Depot and they do have really good prices compared to other hardware stores. I would recommend this store to everyone and I will shop there again.

Service is hit or miss. Last time I was in the store I asked an associate named Jeremy to help me with purchasing the right animal repellent granules and weed killer. He had a bad attitude and sent me home with the wrong products. Either he hates his job or he needs a lot more training. Maybe he should just work in the warehouse away from customers. I spend thousands of dollars a year and I can just as easily go to Lowes.
