- What I recommend: 3 flavors of layered milkshake! Theyre known for their halo halo.- What I ordered: Two milkshakes - one with buko pandan, avocado and langka (jackfruit) and the other one with mais queso (corn & cheese), buko salad (Filipino fruit salad) and macapuno ube (coconut ube).- Tip: Sample the ice cream first (available during COVID). If youre getting milkshake, ask for layered since their default is to blend them together.- Thoughts: Wow! Ive never came across such unique ice cream flavors. Its my first time seeing mais queso, buko salad, buko pandan, and langka flavors and theyre all equally incredible. Mais queso and buko salad stood out since they had bits in there to chew. You can order the scoops of ice cream but we thought its fun to have layers. It takes 5-10 mins since they had to mix the layers separately.
Introduced my Haitian aunt to Filipino Halo-halo πβΊοΈ A sweet refreshing treat after a day of shopping. We got a tall Langka Halo-halo and a Ube Mini Halo. She gobbled her Ube Mini up enthusiastically after I showed her how to eat it. This is now her favorite place and treat. We enjoyed the divine sweetness of the shaved ice mixed with the colorful fruits and chewy jellies. So, fair warning π: We will be returning π₯°ππ€πΎ
I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream and Mahalo Halo! The Macapuno Ube ice cream was so scrumptious and their single scoop is more like a generous scoop and-a-half! Their Mahalo Halo is always delicious...I didnt get to try any because it was devoured by my other half.Prices are very reasonable for quality ice cream. A very wonderful way to celebrate working hard all week!
Magnolia Ice Cream and Treats is the Halo Halo place! If youve never had a Halo Halo you must try one!!Halo Halo is a popular dessert made with layers of various sweet beans and fruits. Thats topped with smooth shaved ice and milk, served in a tall glass. The Mahalo Halo is their best seller for a reason, give it a try!I cant wait till I visit againββ€
Super delicious ice cream thats not sickly sweet. I went for the mango and it was super refreshing and delicious. Store was kept clean.
Kindest servers and great ice cream!
Didnβt know what halo ice cream was until we visited magnolia ice cream! Omg itβs sooo good!! I love the ube ice cream so much! Canβt wait to go back!
The Halo Halos are great. Had the I Lava Lychee and the Mahalo Halo and they were great.
Stopped in for the first time. I heard about their Halo Halo, so decided to try, authentic and just like in Manila. Quality and value for their tasting portion was just right. Jezz and I had the sweet potato topping.
Really good ice cream and lots of Asian choices. I can still taste the ube ice cream. Yep. Thats the one for me.
This was such a fun random place to get some ice cream! I had never seen most of the flavors except chocolate and vanilla. Everything else was new to me so I sampled almost all of their flavors and the lady never had a issue with me asking her all about each one. They also had a cute shelf full of games to play while you enjoy your treat. Not to mention their ice cream is actually good! Not too sweet, I normally dont finish all of a scoop but I did here! Ill definitely be back
The staff seems to show their favorite customer. If you look rich, then theyll be kind and a tad more generous with ice cream. But theyll give you smaller scoops of ice cream if you pay for more than one scoop. Also notice the bottom of the ice cream cup. You think you had a big scoop and the cup.looks full, but the bottom of the cup is a quarter inch higher from a flat surface. I felt cheated. For the EXPENSIVE pricing, quantity, and quality, its not worth it. This place is relying on old nostalgic memories of Filipinos. There are better icrecream shops out there at Bloomingdales and Nordstrom Ala Moana.
Very friendly and customer service is great. The best place to get ube ice cream!
Unfortunately I had to show them what they are advertising is not what they are serving. It was an older lady that provided the service. I would highly recommend that you pay attention to the proportion of what their serving to what is being advertised. Unless you enjoy being shortchanged.
I just go there for my ube macapuno ice cream in a cake cone.
This will be one of my favorite dessert spot.
Unique dessert shop serving really good Halo-halo. Good prices and free parking make it even better.
Interesting dessert place, Filipino Halo Halo and ice cream treats with different flavors. The halo halo we had was cool and refreshing. Its a must for you to try.
Pretty good ice cream with interesting flavors. They also have halo-halo. Service is good.
Great place to get halo halo and ice cream. I love the (I love lychee). Lychee ice cream, with shave ice, lychee gummies, lychee popping balls, and milk in a cup.
Yummy frozen treats here, service can be slow. Its okay, worth the wait. I love their Halo Halo.
Get the Mahalo Halo. Its the basic halo halo recipe and was so good I wanted a second one. The best but is the grain puffs sprinkled on top of the condensed milk ice. That alone was worthy of being a standalone dish. The only criticism is I wish they put bigger scoops of ube ice cream.
Yummy Ube Ice Cream and my favorite is Mahalo extra Crispies.
A great place for a awesome Halo Halo if your willing to pay the price. For the price tho, Jollibee is way cheaper and just as good or better according to some. I say they are a tie but Jollibee wins on value.
The smallest halo halo. Just the right size. Delicious!
The go to place for superior Filipino Ice Cream. Must try the Mahalo Halo for the ultimate Ube awesomeness! I also had their Mais Con Yelo, its also really good. A sweet and cool treat for the recently warmer days of Oahu!
Best HALO HALO on the island. If you need something that is refreshing, try the Halo Halo.
Ice cream is diffrent more creamy but they do have other treats like halo halo its a phillipino treat and others...
Like it. Would be much better if they have another location
A good place to go when you have a craving!
Great selection of unique ice cream flavors, like ube, cheese/corn, and pandan. Their halo halo is amazing...cant wait to go back. Tons of parking is available. Theres indoor and outdoor seating if you want to hang out.
One of the best Halo-halo I have ever tasted. It was delicious, not too sweet, the way I like it.
I Love this place! I always get the Mahalo-halo. It reminded me on my trips to the Philippines and how much I love filipino desserts. Its authentic and the staff are very friendly.
I like it. Ice cream with Asian flavors, something different from the Ben & Jerry and the Hagen Daz. The halo halo is always good, try the halo halo lite if you want to be a little healthier.
Really chill ice cream spot with a signature halo-halo drink. Worth a visit of youre hankering for something cold and in the area.
Great service. Friendly people.
Best place for icecream. Has variety of flavors and halo halo. Always nice and friendly. Can taste all icecream before ordering. Has toppings and sprinkles to add to icecream. Also great for dates and family nights. Fun colorful interior designs and chairs. Game boards are also available.
Might be the best halo halo and ice cream shop in Honolulu!
A great place to get Filipino treats!
Went in for a shake with boba and they said they ran out so I had to settle for a regular shake. Taste was okay.
Delicious ice cream, not so delicious customer service.
Good but expensive icecrea. Two scoops was 7$
Always good in a hot day.
Awesome flavors that are hard to find other places!
